The customer service was amazing. The breakfast buffet was pretty good as well which consisted of juice, coffee, milk, cereal, sausage, egg patties, biscuits, toasts, bagels, gravy and belgian waffles. It was a "fix it yourself" type of buffet which was fine by us. The only disappointment was the pool. I realize the website said the pool is openened until September. I called to make sure it was still opened before we came and they said yes. We went and stayed one night on September 13th. No one was in it and I can see why. It was very dirty. Did not look like it had been cleaned in awhile. You can not tell by the picture but in the bottom right side of the pool there was a Dollar General bag floating around in that corner. Just be prepare for alot of construction if you go anytime soon which can get you a little lost and confused which did me.

I couldn't get bottled water probably because there was only one snack room on the whole property, and that was in the laundry room. The dirty pool was a big turn off. Also I didn't feel the door to my room was secure enough.

There were multiple types of bugs in the room. I purchased bug spray & sprayed the room, but they were still creeping around! I told the front desk, and they said l must have been bringing them in when l walked outdoors. The pool was filthy, no way you could swim in it. The room was furnished nicely & the jetted tub worked well, which is why l gave the place an "okay" rating. Also, the breakfast was good as well.

When I booked the room, nothing stated that the rate was only for a second floor room. We weren’t told that until we arrived at the hotel and there is no elevator. The person checking us in didn’t seem to understand English very well and couldn’t really answer our questions well. The rooms were nice and the property was clean and well lit, but the surroundings didn’t feel too safe. There was an empty lot across from our room with shopping carts all under a tree like vagrants might have been staying there. The fitness equipment didn’t work. The stair stepper wouldn’t turn on, the bicycle had no resistance, and the treadmill kept stopping. I read in other reviews that the breakfast was great, but it was below average for a hot breakfast. Typical pre-cooked eggs in a flat round shape, sausage and cold biscuits. No real healthy options except Cheerios. No fruit, no oatmeal or grits, no yogurt. There was a waffle maker. The bed was also worn out. We have been traveling for 2 weeks and this was the worst hotel of the whole trip.

Super basic hotel. It is fairly clean. Good for 1 night, maybe 2 tops, for on the go travelers. The gym room is very small but it contains 2-3 machines. Breakfast is super basic. Check in took forever and no appreciation of guest was demonstrated. Pool (part of our decision to book here) was totally out of commission - full of filthy water and closed. Fitness room (another major part of our decision to book here) had broken 80s machines and no space to do alternative workouts not utilizing the out of order machines. Breakfast is a joke and there was mold in my scrambled eggs. Upon informing the front desk of this, they shrugged it off and took no action. Battery in our in room smoke alarm failed and alarm started beeping just as we put our children to sleep. Room had not been thoroughly vacuumed and no one turned on A/C before we arrived so it was 90 degrees.

The living area seamed mostly clean. The bathroom was not. There was dried poop on the wall by the toilet paper. There was hair in the filter of the tub and black mold in the jets. Needless to say we only took a shower because of how dirty the tub was. Our towels and washclothes were stained with yellow and black stains. Fridge had to be turned as cold as it would go because our drinks were warm to the touch. The room itself looks to have been remoded sometime in the past year, the tap from the sheetrock on the ceiling was peeling. AC worked. Tv worked. Beds were a little stiff for our liking, but seamed clean and no bugs. I personally will not be staying there again.

Being a travelling businessman, I have stayed at hundreds of hotels. For the money, this was the best of all time. HUGE 65" TV, spotless clean rooms and parking lot. I arrived late and when I entered my room, it was hot and humid and the first thing that hit me was the smell. It smelled like mildew. I turned the A/C on and even that didn’t help an air out the stench. The smell was on the bed, in the shower and in the air.. it gave me a HUGE headache. The only comfort I received was given a refund back and leaving. I will never stay in a Beat Western in this location EVER again.

Staff was very helpful and nice. Lobby was updated and clean. Pool was open and maintained. Rooms were very clean somewhat updated. Air conditioner was ice cold which is a plus! Shower needed to be updated but water was hot and nice. Definitely worth the money that fit my budget. Only thing was there were several shopping carts around, people loitering and doors dented that was concerning.

Finally went to front desk after room phone call failed. Clerk came to our room, could not fix problem. Offered to move to another room, this at 10 pm told him never mind. Rented 2 rooms, the heater did not work in both rooms. Did not arrive until 11pm and it was midnight before i realized that the heater was just blowing cold air. Had to get up at 5, so didn't waste time trying to get another room. At least there was hot water in the morning.

The staff at the front desk wasn't very friendly when we checked in. The room was fine, but they have people who stay there long term and there was someone who lived in the room below us who had there tv ridiculously loud the entire day and night, that is all we could hear and couldn't sleep. When I mentioned it, the woman at the desk wasn't very apologetic about it. She knew what room it was when I told her and said the man was hard of hearing.

Room was clean, no signs of any kind of pests. AC worked well. Shower head had leak issues but worked ok enough for us. Bed comfort was ech but everyone has issues with beds that aren't what they are used too. We ended up buying a blanket at a store for the second night since the bed one was too thin. Overall good stay and would stay again, road construction made navigating difficult but that isnt the hotels fault. Just keep in mind that there is a TON of detours and road work.

The jetted tub was not worth the extra pay- i thought it was more like a hot tub. The room was clean and smelled pleasant. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were awesome. Great place to stay for the rate. Two nice restaurants within walking distance. Construction out front is a little deceiving and tricky but nothing the hotel can control- the whole town is under street construction.

Rude lady at checkin! Reported problems with room. The problems that were broke in room were still the same way the following week when they put me in the same room! AC was not right. Shower / Tub switchover was broke. Light switch to vanity had issues. Ice machine out of order and appeared to have been that away for months. The lady will cost them a lot of business. I can see why very few people stay there!

We got to jacksonville late, but they were ready for us. I had a knee replacement and the guy at the desk was so sweet. he got us on the first floor closest to the breakfast door. All the doors faced out to the parking lot or in to the outdoor swimming pool. We got amazing customer service from him! Our jetted tub room had the jets broken so the next day they moved us one door down to one that worked - which was awesome after such a long drive we'd had. The bed was comfortable, room was simple but totally had everything we needed - fridge, freezer, microwave, direct tv, and clean everything. Cleaning staff came by in the morning and tidied up and gave us a couple extra shampoos and conditioners since I"d forgot ours. Hotel was quiet and the blackout curtains kept it nice and dark. Breakfast was hot and really good. The lady working kept it stocked and clean. She was so sweet and friendly. Our trip was to see family for a medical issue - one of those last chance kinda trips - and it was so nice to come back and decompress after an emotional day. It was right by lots of food places, gas and a walmart plus we found out about 4 min away from other family there.

Room was clean and comfortable. Property appears to be well maintained and looked after. The gentleman (Matthew) who checked us in was excellent, a real professional. He was polite, courteous and offered suggestions for us to consider on where to eat. When we arrived at our room we discovered that it hadn’t been made up yet. Matthew Immediately moved us to a much bigger and nicer room while apologizing profusely for our inconvenience. We had been travelling for ten plus hours and while tired, the ten minute inconvenience was worth it to experience the great care and competence provided by Matthew. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a slightly above average Best Western. I rated the staff high because they were very cooperative to my request to get a cooler room and responded quickly two times to let me into my room after my card would not unlock the door. Once all the road construction is complete, it will be a convenient place to overnight.

It was all clean pool was nice the curtains on the patio doors they could be updated they had holes in them but in all very clean place. The breakfast was a little skimpy compared to other places but considering the price we paid I guess it was the right value. But yes I would stay there again
