This property is located in the midst of industrial and commercial properties, so it’s not that appealing of an arrival. If only the landscaping and upkeep of the building were done better, I would not have minded much. But the building is very dirty on the outside, the pavement in parking lot is crumbled, and the interior of the hotel is just “clean enough;” it’s tidy but deserves a deep clean and refreshing.

There was peeling paint in the shower, the elevator to get to the upper floors literally was banging as one road it. There were no handicap buttons on the front doors, they all had to be opened manually which is difficult when carrying in luggage. The luggage racks were old and difficult to roll.

We stayed a week. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Laundry room on 2nd floor was a blessing. One washer not working, but easy enough to work around the other person doing laundry. Breakfast is bagles, muffins, oat bars and fruit. Water refilling station.

Facility is located close to other hotels with restaurants and fast food nearby. Only complaint was when the elevator broke down and I had to take stairs down to my car. While it was operational later, there were notable clunking sound, which made me weary that it would fail.

This property needs automatic opening entrance doors worse than a dead man needs a coffin. Checked at 3:00 room wasn't ready til 4:30. Otherwise a pleasant 2 day stay. I cant believe this is the only decent hotel in Hamburg.

The place is substandard. Not bright and clean like this photo. It's pretty dusty and dark. Rug and chairs were nasty. They really need to an update. Paint, buy new furniture. They also did not clean the room overnight. I found that highly unusual. When questioned, told we needed to request cleaning. So .... I wouldn't recommend this place. It's dusty and outdated.

Staff members weren’t rude, but weren’t friendly either. The gentleman that checked us in barely spoke 2 words. The room was a good size but smelled like cigarette smoke and would benefit from a deep cleaning. The bathroom shower curtain had mildew along the bottom and the toilet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The best part of this prompt is that it is convenient location to where I was traveling.

Room was run down and in need of updates. Wallpaper was peeling off at the seams, ceiling had spots in the bathroom that was falling down. The rug was damp and the whole room had a musty smell, floors in bathroom had loose tiles. It was clean just worn out. The landscaping was overgrown and weeds were in all the rocky areas…looks unkept.

The hotel room was clean so first and foremost that’s all I really ask for. The hotel in general needs to be updated, the carpet needs replacing, it smells a bit musty, but overall it was a good stay and the staff we did come in contact with were nice.

My husband and I clean house so we’re very cautious about the cleanliness and your bathroom was spotless, first thing I check is the tub, toilet and sink for hairs and it was spotless. I also told the attendant the same. We’ve stayed twice and both times we walked out saying( wow that place is so clean) thank you for taking the time to clean to just about perfection.

The elevator made awful noises. We opted for the stairs. The property is outdated and needs a refresh. The furniture is worn and the floors creak and spring when you walk on them. The staff were pleasant and efficient. We stayed there because it was close to the shop we needed to visit in the morning. I stay further away next time to enjoy a model and updated property

This is the only hotel I know of in this part of Hamburg, near Cabela’s. The hotel is inexpensive and basic, but comfortable. I stayed there with my 3 kids, we all got a good night’s sleep. The pull out loveseat twin bed was nice, gave us all room to spread out. We ate breakfast each morning down in the lobby to get our day started and were out all day until the evening. It was quiet at night and the room was functional and pretty clean. Was good for a basic stay.

Positive: Absolutely anything you need, from doughnuts to a full size ATV, framing lumber, new car or a steak dinner is all available within 1 mile. Room is kinda cool, with a kitchen, handy if you are going to stay for a while. Negative: TV reception is awful. TV mounting is awful for viewing, gives neck and back problems it is so high in the air.

This hotel is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. If there was any other hotel in the area, I would have picked it. There was a couple of staff members that were very nice, but most of them were extremely rude. There was a customer that had a simple request and was berated for it in front of everyone while he was eating breakfast. The assistant manager talking with him was extremely rude to him and was not trying to understand what he was asking for at all, but could have been resolved if the staff was communicating with each other. Aside from that jarring experience, the place did not feel clean or look clean, things were broken and falling apart everywhere, and the elevator is extremely sketchy. We asked for very late checkout (3pm) and it was approved, yet housekeeping was at our door at 11:30 in spite of the 'do not disturb' sign being displayed. Breakfast was limited, but not terrible and well stocked; the coffee was good. Overall, this hotel runs and feels like a $50/night (being generous) hotel charging more than double that. All of the problems appear to be lack of quality management and communication.

The staff was unfriendly. The elevator sounded like it was falling apart. We booked a queen bed and only got a double. The A/C was making odd noises all night long. We only had 3 tissues in the box and when we asked for more, we were told they were none left. The breakfast was minimal. There were NO spoons out --makes it hard to eat the cereal.

When we arrived at 6pm there was a doorbell to ring to have someone check us in. A woman came out looking disheveled, ratty Tshirt, and no smile. She was not friendly and barely answered questions. It was my husbands birthday and he asked for an extra hour and you could see the disbelief in her face that anyone could ask that. We were told there was breakfast and I went down in the morning and there was nothing. No microwave or mini fridge in the room. Room is very tiny. When we asked for extra pillows they gave my husband attitude and handed him one. Not impressed at all.

I don’t know which was the worst- the incompetent desk clerks, the condition and cleanliness of the room, or the huge waste of my time to correct THEIR problems. I had made reservations on Hotels.com, and the clerks claimed they could not access the 3rd party reservations. I saw other people in the same condition. I spent over 40 minutes on the phone with a non English speaker, trying to get a refund, at Hotels.com. Since it was pushing 8:45 by then, I elected to just pay for a room there- bad mistake. The room had only a cursory cleaning, and was pretty beat up and dirty. Towels from the previous tenant were on floor behind the bath door. Very poor job of “cleaning”. Did I mention that they charged me 26% more than the Hotels.com price? Avoid like the plague- these people are really bad.

As a hole, the property is fine. Pretty shabby, but you can tell they try to keep it clean. Had a very unpleasant gentleman upon check in. Completely lacking in customer service skills. However, we were given appropriate rooms, and no problems.

This hotel is old and dated. Check in was a disaster. The clerk put a sign up that read “stepped away be right back” and 30 minutes later he was still not back and there were a number of people like us waiting in the lobby to get checked into our rooms. We had to go to the bar to ask someone to help us find someone to check us all in. Shortly after the woman from the bar tried to help us, a guy finally showed up at the desk. You’d think he would be apologetic at that point, but instead he was rude and inconsiderate! FINALLY arriving to our room, we found it to smell of cigarette smoke and I question if the sheets were changed after the last customer. The comforter had stains that made my stomach churn. The room had no air conditioning on when we checked in and it took most of the night to cool it down. The ice machine on the third floor was out of order as well as the waffle maker in the lobby. Overall I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff is amazing, they really work to make sure you have a nice stay. The gentleman, I did not get his name, was just outstanding, and the rest of the stuff was amazing too. I had forgotten to add another night and they helped me last minute to add it, that has never happened to me before especially at this time of the year when rooms are in such a huge demand. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The staff did their best for us. I enjoyed tea entire day too:). I am a tea lover so that was a plus for me. I will for sure be getting there again to enjoy another peaceful stay in a safe environment. I highly recommend this place.

This hotel was conveniently located to house my out of town family for a wedding. No one had any complaints for their stay. This is the only hotel in town. There our restaurants near by (ie Crackle Barrel, Red Robin, Taco bell, Wendy's, Burger King and McDonald's to mention a few). There is shopping too Walmart and Cabela's are near by.

I shipped a package via USPS, tracking showed that it was received, but it was not there when I arrived. The local staff tried to figure out what happened, but to no avail. No monetary or points were offered. What a disaster! One more thing: the Toyota dealership across the road from the hotel had a loudspeaker that sounded throughout the night

Room was okay. Beds seemed a bit old, but were comfortable enough. Same for the pillows. Thankfully in our room we had a pull out loveseat which gave us another bed. The TV was mounted quite high and in front of one of the beds, making it difficult for the other bed to see it. The room was overall clean enough. On our second night we could smell cigarette smoke on the third floor and kids were running up and down the hall late into the night, keeping us awake. Breakfast was lacking, but we appreciate that there was coffee, tea and juice. The pancake machine was broken and some of the cereal couldn’t be dispensed. My son said the chocolate milk didn’t taste good and chose not to try the regular milk. I feel that for what we got the price could have been lower, but have been to worse properties and this was decent enough.

Breakfast bar is a fraction of what it was a couple years ago. No toast or waffles, no eggs. This must have been sacrificed to keep the price down. Too bad. I will keep coming because of Pappy T’s restaurant next door. But reluctantly. First years in ages that they weren’t fully booked for this gunshow weekend. Maybe there’s a reason.

I was disappointed that breakfast did not start until 7:30 AM on the weekends. I was expecting breakfast to start at 6:30 AM as It is during weekdays and thus made plans to leave at 7 AM. When I brought this up to the person at the front desk, I was advised to eat at Cracker Barrel because they open at 5 AM. I was not expecting to pay extra for breakfast, I was expecting to eat it at the hotel.

I was looking for an affordable, clean and safe place to spend the night on a recent business trip to Hamburg. Booking through Hotels.com it was under $90 a night including all taxes and fees. The property is a step up from a Super 8, more along the lines of a La Quinta. Staffing was spotty but that seems pretty common these days and not isolated to this location. Room was clean albeit TINY. They truly put the MICRO in Microtel. Unlike many hotels I’ve stayed in lately it did NOT reek of marijuana - a pleasant surprise! There is a little sports bar attached to the hotel which has some dining and libation options. I only poked my head in so I can’t speak to the quality of the offerings. TVs on with sports games and it definitely had a locals vibe to it. The free breakfast was EXTREMELY disappointing. Stale packaged “pastries” mini boxes of cereal and meh coffee. But it was included in the very affordable rate. I grabbed a couple of Nutrigrain bars and called it a day. I will stay here again if in the area. If you’re visiting and looking for a place to eat dinner nearby I wholeheartedly recommend the 1787 Brewing Company which is only a couple of miles away. Would not recommend walking as it’s a bit of a hike and goes through a neighborhood I wouldn’t want to be in after dark, although the hotel and the 1787 Brewing Company were both in very nice areas.
