What guests think

At Best Western Edgewater Inn, travelers consistently praise very clean rooms, friendly and accommodating staff, and a convenient, generally quiet location near beaches, I-95, and shops, making it a reliable stop for short stays and visits.

Breakfast is often considered good, though some found the selection plain or a few items uneven. Common drawbacks are thin walls that carry noise and an older building with occasional maintenance issues, with a handful of guests also finding the price high for the quality. Expect a straightforward, practical stay.

Check in for two rooms took about 45 minutes total. The very nice lady was new so I stayed patiently waiting for her to get it done. After her taking the second phone call I was prepared to keep her from answering another call until I was checked in but fortunately no more calls came in. Breakfast wasn’t anything special or even close but it serves it purposes and at least they have hot food options. We travel the state extensively for work and the hotel served its purpose for a 3 night stay. The whirlpool tub in the room was a wonderful added bonus. For a Best Western it was great. I also always did feel very safe there.

Two night stay, nothing special about the location but hotel was very impressive; it was clean, it was well maintained, they had a good breakfast, the front desk was friendly and the daily housekeeping was exceptional. A pleasant experience.

The bikers, from what it sounds like, visit this location often. They park in the handicap area and there is no handicap sticker or placard on the bike. My husband has a plcard and sticker due to his condition. I dont think this is fair, they park when THEY are riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle with a rider and my husband has issues with walking.

This rating would have been 5 stars across the board however the hotel is older and some minor updates need to be made. However, it was very clean, the staff were helpful and kind. The location was in a safe place and convenient to the highway and stores. Would absolutely stay here again if in the area.

They say this place is a “no frills” hotel, but I think it’s on par with any Marriott or Hilton I’ve been to as far as cleanliness and attentiveness are concerned. The beds are super comfortable! The front desk staff are amongst the most pleasant people I’ve encountered in my life! The housekeeping staff are very friendly as well and make you feel welcome. My only gripes are that they should serve coffee in the lobby all day long & the breakfast selection is limited; but there are many places to eat nearby! I’ve stayed at this hotel dozens of times in the past 15 years and will be back many times more! Sorry for not reviewing sooner!

Quirky out of the way hotel. I honestly was the only car in the parking lot upon checking in early evening. It was nothing special, good for a quick place to sleep and that is about it.
