Had a great stay, wonderful old hotel with lots of history. The room was very nice, the bar and the food was great. An elevator would be handy but when the building is about 300 years old I guess it is was it is. Would definitely recommend this as a go to hotel.

This hotel needs a major cosmetic updating. Parking inadequate for guests as restaurant on site as well. Service staff excellent..front desk staff need help in providing info for out of towners. Bar and staff excellent.

This hotel is amazing! While a historic hotel the rooms are clean with updates to the bathrooms. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The 2 restaurants and tavern serve the same exact menu but the food was great. We have no complaints!

Busy restaurant on site, which makes parking in back tricky. The food was wonderful; I had the Waldorf salad with chicken. We had cocktails in both bars & both bartenders were knowledgeable & skilled. All the staff were helpful & friendly in this historic & busy Inn. The room was spacious & the bed was comfortable.

My reception Friday evening was not good. I was not told that I would be housed in the old part of the old inn. On the other hand, when it rained and rained, someone from the front desk went everywhere to find me an umbrella. There was no housekeeping during the weekend, but on the other hand my room was well cleaned when I arrived. The location, in the middle of the quaint town, was wonderful.

The property is beautiful! I loved the small hallways, quaint rooms and how convenient the location is to everything in Concord. You can walk to everything. The one complaint is that the hallways had a very heavy smell of food. I was on the 3rd floor and it was still overwhelming. The carpets and walls could use a cleaning to help with that. My room was fresh and clean.

The room was very clean and comfortable. I was very grateful for staff help with my suitcase up and down some stairs. The Inn was decorated pretty for the holidays. Like the living room space to spend more time with good friends after breakfast. Always a charming Inn and town. Happy Holidays!

The room was very clean. We were in a pet-friendly room so it was away from the main part of the Inn. We really just went to our room and never saw anyone. It was a little annoying that when I went to the front desk at about 9:30 pm to ask for 2 bottles of water since none had been put in our room, the older gentleman said they only had 1 bottle and didn't offer to get another bottle. .

During the last stay (jun19-21), the room was clean overall, but noticed some ants, the showerhead was not good at all (with poor flow and water was going all over the place) Also, would like housekeeping service to clean up the room during the stay (not after) - like clean up the bed, etc.

Unique property with historic charm. Staff very welcoming and supportive of our needs. Lovely rooms with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. Carpeting in hallways and stairs very dated, worn and seemed stained & dirty. Location allowed easy access for walking in town.

A nice visit. The historic aspect added to the overall stay. There is a lot of interesting trivia to browse. Our room was in the back over the delivery entrance and was very loud at 5am. No breakfast during the week in spite of several large serving areas but there's good options close by.

Room was nice enough, but the rooms on the first floor facing the back parking lot are pretty noisy. The delivery trucks park outside your window. Not an issue if you are an early riser. The hallway can also be noisy as the housekeeping laundry is just down the hall. I would stay again but only on an upper floor. Staff was very nice.

This historic inn is charming and the staff are helpful. However, the AC in our room was so loud that we couldn’t use it. Fortunately it was a cool night. Heat pumps would be a good solution for the Inn.

The room was small. Noise from water pipes and parking/delivery. Limited parking for small cars. This is way more $$$ than our typical stays, not our crowd. Historic hotel... do some research first. It is convenient to the historic sites in the area.

A truly old historic property. As a result, there will always be something a little wonky. In our case, we could not turn down the heat in the room. This was countered by opening the window and letting in cold air. Yes there was an air conditioner but it was too loud to sleep. Rooms are small but comfortable.

The staff was not very helpful. I did not realize there was no elevator, my fault but I am elderly, and the staff just pointed to the stairs. No one offered to help as I attempted to take my suitcase and computer to the second floor. The tread, probably because of the age, was very narrow and not accommodating. Room very comfortable

We loved it! We have eaten there numerous times when visiting out East and Boston, however we have never stayed until there now. My mother cannot do steps so they were very accommodating and placed on the main floor. The bed was so comfortable! Very relaxing and clean. It is dated however it is also historic and has an historic charm! We have a small kitchenette-esk area as well. Clean and friendly! (I even saw a Revolutionary ghost! - not in our room thankfully!) It was a nice break away from the city which the rest of our medical stay was in. We will definitely be back!

I’ve stayed here for business many times. The hotel is an antique Inn with a newer wing. It’s very clean with friendly staff on the green in historic Concord. I think it’s great. I can see how people who are looking for a westin or omni might think it’s a little old fashioned and it is. I love Concord so it’s perfect for me. There are plenty of places to get good food for all meals within walking distance. The food at the hotel is good too.

In good weather walkable with shops easily available. Parking is horrible. They are not open for breakfast for people staying there every morning except weekends. Restaurant staff very friendly and accommodating. Some of front desk staff nice but manager is sorta rude and a know it all. I found him not nice at all to someone who comes in from the dark on a cold winter's night.

Four guest had to wait 30 minutes, unattended check in counter. Attendant got pissed off when my husband was in the counter trying to find a number to check in. Maybe a ring bell could be available. Where was he anyway? As soon as you go in the hotel, there's a pungent smell. Old carpet needs changing. Tight shower space. No lift for heavy luggage. Very tired so one night stay can be tolerable. BUT WONT STAY HERE AGAIN.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Colonial Inn. The location was excellent and within walking distance to all the major attractions in town and a short drive to Lexington. The restaurants were great. We loved going to the Tavern each night. They have done an excellent job taking care of the Inn and preserving its' amazing history. I would recommend to all.

The bar at this hotel is very popular among the locals as well as the guests. Excellent service and food options at the bar; not your normal bar food. I would highly recommend it. And to think that the Minutemen gathered there, too!

This place completely made our trip! The food was to die for (we ended up eating there for three meals) the service was impeccable and the room was cozy. We loved that it was walking distance to everything in concord and parking was a breeze! We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful historic place with modern amenities that we are used to having. Staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We were super tired and the bed was perfectly comfortable. Love the shades that kept the room dark for sleep, much better than traditional ones. Dinner on the on site restaurant was as good as anything we have had in very nice restaurants. I would highly recommend.

The room was fine, although there were a lot of stairs to go up and down with luggage. Our main disappointment was learning in the morning that breakfast was only served on weekends. As we had chosen a hotel with breakfast so we could get to our event on time, this threw our entire schedule off. Being told it was only a five minute walk to the restaurant was not useful, as we know there's always a wit for a table there in the morning. If you're not serving breakfast, don't put a breakfast menu on your hotel website.
