I've stayed at this hotel hundreds of times over the past 11 years. (It has changed owners several times) Easily accessible from I65, quick check in and beds are always comfortable. Small fridge and coffee maker in room (no microwave) AC was cold and worked well. I will say that I always get a good night sleep here. Upgrades to the bathrooms is much needed, hallway ice machines did not work and they've taken out all of the vending machines. I love this hotel, it has a beautiful setting, pond out back, lots of event space, but it is in serious need of some upgrades and general maintenance. The deterioration is starting to really show. Cracked tiles, peeling bathtubs, exterior doors that wont read the access cards half the time. There used to be a laundry area but I think they've removed that also. They have 2 pools, the interior one is open and heated, but I'm not sure if the exterior one has been in use for a while. They have also boarded up the 2nd floor exterior acess to I wing. I hope this means some upgrades are happening soon. Their nightly price is always affordable and I know I'm always going to get a good rest.

It's a nice hotel but it needs to be clean in the outside. Rugs at the hallways need to be replaced. Glass windows are full of spider web. The water at the inside swimming pool is cloudy. Towels are in a good quality and also the bed sheets. They look like new. Mattress is good. Front desk lady is friendly.

Their little store "Sidewalk Stand" is expensive, hot and no real choices. They definitely don't extend pool time even if you are there on July 4th. You gotta go a distance to get to your room and they are not close by anything in the hotel. One ice machine, no vending machines, beds were okay and air conditioning was cold which was awesome.

Staff was untrained, dishonest, and rude. Took 2 hrs to get checked in. The pool cloudy that day. Then when we went this morning 2 hrs after it should have been opened. They was adding a chemical and when I asked about it they said they were shocking it and we would be able to get in in 10 min. I didnt feel safe, because the shock we use says 8 -24 hrs. So I asked to see the jug for its recommendation and the refused, and told me to leave. I called the county Health Department. They called me back and said they found the chlorine was high, The PH was high, itwas too cloudy for people to be in along with high levels of bacteria. They immediately shut it down.

The pool could have been cleaner. It seems that this is an old building. Spider webs everywhere rusted and rotting metal. The ceiling was leaking and dripping water all over the floor causing a slip hazard. The bathtub looked like it had been taken out and put back in multiple times being reculked over and over again

I called ahead 3 hours to make sure the pool was open. A stoem came through and the INDOOR pool was closed early; the storms had passed but the pool would not be reopened. Glass walkout door to the lake. Pretty but traveling alone with young kids i would have preferred to know in advance. NO BREAKFAST! 730 am restraunt and gift shop/bakery were both closed. New worker at the front desk said their was a continental breakfast but he was wrong.

The hotel was amazing and the staff was so kind. It was such a beautiful hotel. The pool was enormous and they didn’t have towels when we went down there because they were in the dryer as soon as they came out of the dryer they brought them down to us the pool was nice and warm. The view was gorgeous and I highly recommend if you go there to take a walk outside by the pond and especially to look outside around sunset it is so beautiful highly recommend

The carpet was old, the bathroom shower was peeling, it smell like smoke because the carpet is nasty, the pool need to be clean, they do not clean the rooms right, there was food and crumbs on the floor in my rooms, my son had a bed bug on his clothes. The sheets have stains on them. I been a lot of Radissons and this one never again. This place is trouble. If they put money back into the hotel it will be good, they need a lot of updates. The staff was nice. Just need more work and better cleaning. There was spider webs and dead bugs on the windows and stairs all over the place. You can tell they dont care about the cleaning

This hotel is falsely represented by its photos! It is dirty, run down, and smells of urine a mildew in the hallways. The toilet was dirty(seat and all), the bathtub was painted and had peeling paint and caulking throughout the tub, the carpet was filthy, and the a/c did not operate properly. I have never had an experience like this at a Radisson.

it was not at all upto the mark for Radisson hotel name. cockraoch found in fridge and in room, No microwave, No breakfast, large towels only 2 provided for twin bed room. This was the dirtiest, sketchiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Almost everything in the room was broken from furniture to the bathtub to the ceilings. Bed had bed bugs. The entire building smelled like marijuana and cigarette smoke despite the multiple “100% smoke free building” signs posted inside and outside. We all woke up with respiratory coughs. The walls were basically falling apart around the entire facility. The pool was so murky you couldn’t even see through it. Room key stopped working. Fire department was there within the first 20 minutes of us checking in. The list goes on and on. Do not stay here.

Property definitely needs an update. Main lobby looks nice but then it gets worse as you get to your room. Room had worn out spots, rust in the shower, and various spots throughout the room that was torn or broken. We didn’t notice until we were leaving but the bed had bugs. Not clean.

Inside room it was very hot and humid. Windows, ceiling and carpet flooring were wet. Wated drops from ceilig. Plenty of hidden mold as my asthma and allergies were flaring up. Never again. DO NOT EVEN TRY TO BOOK IN THIS HOTEL. In Europe they would close place like that.

Rust stains everywhere in the bathroom. Pillows were awful. The water in the bathtub and sink did not drain well. Housekeeping did not give us any new towels, we had to ask for them twice during a four night stay. Ladybugs crawling on the ceiling when we arrived. The keys did not work half the time on any door. There was puke outside on the steps for 2 days. The hallway smelled like weed. Will not return.

The main lobby was very deceiving as it was nice and inviting but the wing we stayed in was very old and out dated. Tiles were missing in the floors of the hallway and a trip hazard. Beds were uncomfortable and people were very loud. It seemed to be long term residents and construction workers.

I’m sure this was a lovely hotel back in the ‘90’s-2000 but it’s pretty run down. The pool area looked very nice. It’s a very large property (350 rooms) so I think the upkeep is difficult and you find yourself roaming around multiple hallways, inside then outside then back inside just to get to your room. We only stayed for the night and the room was fine for that. Carpet was sticky and had multiple cigarette burns even though it’s non-smoking room. Our tv screen died but it was too late to do anything about it. Front desk apologized upon checkout. The location is convenient to 65 but there’s no great view or anything. There are some cute restaurants mile away on the Ohio River. For the money it was fine for the night just didn’t get a typical Radisson vibe.

Our stay at the Radisson Hotel Louisville North during the Kentucky Derby was a nightmare. Check-in took 30 minutes as the front desk staff seemed completely untrained. The hallways reeked of cigarette smoke. Shortly after getting to my room, my employee called to say someone was already inside his assigned room. The front desk employee went with him to investigate but didn’t know how to use the latch tool to open the door – my employee had to do it. Inside, the room was barricaded with couches and reeked of weed. The adjoining door to the next room was wide open, clearly indicating unauthorized access. The staff member casually stated, “This happens all the time. Homeless people climb up the balconies and get in.” Shockingly, no one contacted the police. Despite my employee asking multiple times for a different room, they sent him back to the compromised room. When we went to check it, the manager was outside the neighboring room struggling to open it. Once inside, someone was barricaded in the bathroom, pushing back on the door when we tried to open it. Only after insisting did they finally move my employee to a new room. A maintenance worker told us incidents like this “happen all the time.” Unbelievable. This hotel is unsafe, unprofessional, and poorly managed. Stay far away.

We were told by front desk staff that we could pay a fee to check into our room and then proceeded to tell us that they canceled our room and we would be unable to stay there, leaving us stranded with nowhere to go. Unprofessional,unorganized,and the rooms and hallways smell weird. When i checked in the gave me a room key to a room that was already assigned to someone so i ended up walking in on that person. I wasnt able to check in, hotel was apparently over booked. Lobby was not clean, guests were complaining at cointer about rooms smelling like smoke, finding other peoples belongings in the room when they entered and apparently they had no housekeeping on site as rooms werent ready for guests to check in. I arrived after 5 pm and waited in line for a good 40 monutes only to find out they werent even sure when my room would be ready. We called it a day in Louisville, ate dinner and drove 4 hours back home rather than stay here.

Check in was a nightmare. They confirmed my reservation only to not have my reservation at check in. A sales manager had to input a reservation for me. My 1st room looked like the door had been kicked in and you could see the lock mechanisms. So we asked for a change. This change landed us at the other end of the hotel. Towels were scarce. Even when we requested them at 8 am to be ready with our room number after work which ended at midnight. Came back to no towels and they said it was a "miscommunication." The inside pool was shut down. The outside pool looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. My daughter saw a roach on the last day.

Quick check in. Only issue was I called property before checking in to confirm the card on file would be charged for the deposit as my father would arrive for his room before me. I was assured it would be however when my father arrived they made him pay the deposit instead of calling me or confirming with me first. No problem with parking. You pay for breakfast approx $12-15 but it was standard good to get you going in the morning. The bar is open until late when we were there for the weekend. The room was clean. Our room was far from the lobby but the lake view on the way to the room was great. 15 mins to downtown Louisville. Would stay there again for sure!

We enjoyed our stay for the time we were there. The pool was wonderful. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest and the bath tub was peeling and chipping so bad there was no way of trying to take a bath. I was pretty upset after figuring out there was no sort of vending machine on the entire property, so you either bought their food or did without if you didn't want to leave. The ice machines did not work either. Breakfast was sub par and also cost us an additional $14 a person. So for as cheap as the room was they got their money out of you in other ways for sure. Next time I'll pay the extra $20 a night someplace else for a little more convenience.

Overall good stay … horrible with the trying to find a luggage rack , and the Bar closes way too early ….. beds are comfortable…… owners or managers need to realize they don’t own the people that stay at their hotel and stop berating them for trying to pay with cash for an extra day … you can’t order people around like that and you can’t speak to your customers or travelers that way …. Besides that everything else was great
