Great location to IAD (Dulles Airport). Even though an older hotel, it was clean and comfortable. Great parking. Guests should be told that facility has no elevator or staff to help with luggage if your room is on 2nd floor. We had to carry our large luggage pieces up the outdoor stairway. We could also hear a dog in the next door room.

Property is old, dated, and under renovation. Noise is abundant and construction starts before 8 am, so if you want to sleep in, good luck. The front desk did not notify me of the construction when i checked in during the evening. To make matters worse they gave me a room adjacent to the construction zone. Definitely inquire before booking because the front desk does not care about your experience.

I enjoy the convenience of the stay. Easy to get to and the breakfast is amazing with so many choices. Extended Parking is also very affordable and the airport shuttle service is excellent.

Our group of 6 picked this hotel because of the early shuttle time beginning at 4am. I requested the 4am shuttle ahead of time, which was in the notes of my reservation at time of arrival. The shuttle is free to the airport, which is another reason we picked this hotel. However, the shuttle only holds 10 people. A group of 5 checked in to the hotel minutes before us and requested the shuttle. With our party of 6, they told us we couldn't use the free shuttle service. We had to call an Uber, and additional expense. Because they couldn't offer us another shuttle because of only one driver, I asked if they could compsensate our fee for parking our car for the week. They said, "unfortunately, no." I felt like that may have been a nice thing to do, or even offer something else for us, but nothing. The hotel was clean, and comfortable enough for the overnight stay.

This place sucks big time. The only good thing is the proximity to the airport. The room has musty smell in it. I am sure at one point someone smoked in it and you can smell that too. There are so many cockroaches in the room. I have killed a couple but still there are a lot. It has two floors but there is no elevator. We have 8 big international travel bags but we do not know that there is no elevator at the time of booking. We had to keep them in the dining area for sometime and then moved to them to our cars. Such a pain. In the outside people are smoking weed. That smell is horrible. I think you will understand what kind of people are staying here. This place is next to freeway. If you get room on the backside you will hear a lot of traffic noise too.

There was a used/dirty fork from a previous guest under the table in the room (speaks to the overall uncleanliness of the room), the phone didn’t work so we couldn’t call to the front desk. The room was old and dark, not a lot of light. The air conditioning unit had mold and smelled horrible. Since my son and I have allergies and asthma, and we are both highly allergic to mold, we had to leave and go to another hotel. There was a lot of noise in the morning (5:30 / 6:00 am) from cars and people walking by. Definitely wouldn’t stay at the property nor recommend it. I did speak to management and they apologized for the inconveniences we experienced.

First of all the breakfast is great. It will worth the money you spend on the stay. Internet you need to bring your own. The Internet service is the poorest it can be possible. Rooms are small and clean. Staffs were nice. For a cheap hotel It is good. But no Internet.

The staff members from the front desk to the restaurant who extremely hard working, attentive, and friendly. All service was very prompt. The only nit picking is that our shower had a small leak but a towel at the base of the sliding doors soaked it up.

There were only a couple of issues regarding the room. The seal under the door was missing thus allowing breeze and light to shine under the door. Not a big deal but still something to repair. I am not a light sleeper but did notice the highway noise before going to bed. The location is close to a busy highway and if someone is a light sleeper or doesn't run the AC/Heat they will certainly hear the vehicles going by. I have only stayed during the winter when the trees didn't have leaves; however I doubt it would lessen the noise that much. Either way it isn't a make or break, just something to consider. The rooms and staff were all great.

Great stay. Would’ve been a 5 but the ventilation I. Our room sound like a helicopter was landing but nothing that ear plugs can handle! Very comfortable bed, clean room and linens. You drive up to your room which is great. Breakfast was the highlight! Boiled eggs, always had three types of warm items which always included scrambled eggs then could be French toast, bacon, turkey patty or chicken sausage. Two yogurt variety (low cal Danone & slightly higher cal Yoplait). Waffle station, 3 types of cereal (including Nature Valley granola), oatmeal packs, bananas, oranges and apples and of course coffee (reg and decaf) and hot water for tea or cocoa. Staff was super friendly and helpful. 7 or 8 minutes from Dulles airport. Would definitely stay here again!

The front desk staff was absolutely friendly and professional, although the woman that checked us in did give us keys that didnt work. My husband walked all the way back to get new keys and they did work, however there were already people IN THE ROOM! So yeah.. finally got an available room and i could see nail clippings and hair on the carpet so i laid towels down to walk on. The bed was lumpy, pillow was hot and the heat was incredibly hot even though we had it on low and the coolest setting. It was 40 degrees out and ended up turning on the ac because it was better than sauna temps to sleep in. Shuttle service good because starts at 4am. I just dont think i could go back!

Sam, who works at the front desk , was very helpful, hospitable and welcoming. Room was clean, location was near the airport, breakfast was good, shuttle service was on time and the drivers were very friendly. I can definitely recommend staying at Best Western.

Great Airport shuttle. We appreciated To Go breakfast options if you have to go before breakfast starts. Clean and good value. Liked the Tea, cocoa, water and coffee at any hour options as you check in. Very helpful staff.

However, the front desk staff is rude and impatient, especially for the post checkout service. 1) There was no staff at the front desk when we checked out. When I called to get a copy of the receipt, the answer is a firm no because we booked via a 3rd party travel site. 2) Being a Best Western loyalty member, I asked for the points to be added to myself. The answer is a firm no because we booked via a 3rd party travel site, Well, if you don't want the 3rd party to take a portion of your price, don't market yourself on those websites. I never had this issue with other hotel groups, or airlines. If I buy my tickets on expedia.com and physically took the flight, I get my mileage, isn't it?

Best hotel I've stayed at in such a long time! It was also the cheapest under 100 per night but that doesn't mean poor quality and service here. I was so impressed, the reviews about this place were not lying. What I loved about this hotel: the staff are very friendly, their shuttle is always on time and convenient to take you to the airport and the metro. The breakfast spread is amazing for what you pay for. It would get changed up a little bit each morning but it was really fresh and sanitary. Also, me and my boyfriend were both so impressed with how little we could hear once we got in our rooms. We did stay on the 2nd floor which was helpful so we didn't hear anyone above us. Either way, we couldn't hear our neighbors, it was just a really nice, safe, and quiet property. As for the mattresses, they were great in my opinion. I'm sure there are others who want like a tempur-pedic but you just aren't going to have your mattress from home when you stay somewhere else. There was enough support so my back wasn't hurting in the morning. The only bummer to this hotel is it's not around any restaurants or stores. There is a gas station and a pub right by the hotel but the pub's food is just ok so you might have to take advantage of delivery services which can get pricey. Overall, I would totally stay here again. I had no issues, our room smelt clean right when we came in. The shuttle to the metro was great to get into DC on the silver line. 10/10.

Overall, my stay was decent. However, hotel management needs to be aware of when there are large groups staying at the hotel. I felt absolutely horrible for the check-in girl this morning when I went to check out as they were easily 60 to 70 people needing their luggage coordinated and she was the only one staffing the desk. And yet she was still calm and respectful and polite when she did come over to assist me with my checkout.

decent place to sleep for a night before a flight. shuttle is free. first one is at 4am. breakfast doesn't start until 6am so if you have an early flight you'll miss out. otherwise it's a pretty basic room but no issues
