The staff was really nice, they would check up on you and were really friendly. We went mid June and it was a really bad seaweed season, but there were workers working daily cleaning up the seaweed to make the beach accessible. The rooms were clean and pool towels were exchanged nightly. The property itself was a lot smaller than expected, there was one walkway connecting all the buildings to the pool and beach. Food wise there was one buffet serving breakfast and lunch, and for dinner you had to make reservations (Mexican, Italian, Asian, or a Steakhouse). And a snack bar for lunch next to the members only seafood restaurant. There weren’t any tennis/ pickle ball courts but they had a ping pong table, and a gym/ spa which comes at an additional cost. The membership people were pretty ruthless in trying to get you to sign up so be aware incase you are not interested to begin with. They take you to a breakfast/ lunch and take up half the day trying to convince you to sign up even if you are adamant from the start. But unfortunately that is their job and not different than other resorts. The activities people were really energetic and had plenty of games / activities throughout the day. Overall great experience, but I wouldn’t say its exceptionally better than other resorts.

The food was terrible. Not a lot of options for restaurants available. Restaurants you had to have reservations for some not all. No amenities, short staff, although staff were wonderful but definitely under worked. Air conditioning didn’t work properly in the too as it should while it was very hot. One swim up bar. The beach was nice but you couldn’t get in due to the seaweed. It doesn’t have a lot of engaging activities on resort. No entertainment. Drinks were very basic and mid and we even did an upgrade package to get the best of the best. I would not recommend a stay here.

The Good: 5-Star Service Staff Bellmen: Truly exceptional. They provided golf cart transportation throughout our week-long stay and made us feel incredibly welcome. Specialty Restaurants: Four excellent options (Steakhouse, Asian, Mexican, Italian). Booking was seamless, food was exceptional, and waitstaff was highly hospitable. Pool & Beach Staff: Service at the pool, beach, and daytime dining venues was top-tier, gracious, and consistently welcoming. In stark contrast, the front desk and main lobby gift shop staff provided a very poor experience. First setback, I booked a room for our three-person group via Hotels.com that stated it accommodated up to four guests. However, the front desk informed us at check-in that the room was priced per person and the rate I paid only covered two people. We spent hours coordinating with support and the front desk manager. The hotel refused to let me pay the rate difference to add a third person to our existing room, citing policy. Exhausted from early travel, I ultimately had to purchase a completely separate room for the third person. The lack of accommodation continued at the gift shop. I bought a lock there to hang on the resort's designated gate in memory of my late son. Noting other engraved locks, I asked if they could engrave ours, staff abruptly declined and inquiries about higher-quality alternatives for this sensitive request were met with silence and unhelpful attitudes!
