The hotel is new and very nice. The rooms were spacious, and everything was clean. I’m not sure why they only put balconies on certain rooms or if those cost more than the other mountain-view rooms, but we were told none with balconies were available. The staff was friendly, and breakfast was good. The breakfast-area staff was attentive and very nice. The location is also great—within walking distance of the train depot and downtown area. One thing I will never understand is why new hotels don’t put regular outlets and/or USB/USB-C ports on the outer sides of each bed, even with just a small floating shelf for charging phones. The water pressure was lighter than I prefer, but it wasn’t a big deal. We really liked the extra space and the counter with a sink in the main area. The only things we found odd were with the bathroom in our room, 651. It looked like there was a fan in the ceiling, but there was no switch, and the bathroom got very hot and steamy after a shower. If the fan was supposed to be automatic, it wasn’t working. We also didn’t like that the bathroom door automatically closes. They really need to provide a doorstop or some way to prop it open. We ended up using a towel to keep the door open so the mirror could defog and so we could talk to each other if one person was getting ready or applying makeup in the bathroom while the other was in the main area. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and liked the hotel.

Loved the view, comfortable beds, nice window coverings, great big screen TV, nice mini kitchen area, and good amenities. We were able to watch the trains leave in the morning.

The staff was very helpful, complimentary drinking water was absolutely nice, very new great place to stay. Close to downtown aka mainstreet. Underground parking is a huge plus when you’re on a motorcycle especially. $15 extra for that.
