What guests think

Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Ft Lauderdale Cypress Crk draws frequent praise for friendly staff, clean and often spacious rooms with kitchenettes, and convenient perks like free parking, a decent breakfast, and proximity to Inter Miami's stadium.

Several reviews report maintenance problems such as doors that stick, worn bathroom fixtures, poor drainage, loud or weak AC, and occasional elevator outages, plus hot, stuffy common areas. Some guests experienced slow responses to requests, unclear housekeeping schedules, and occasional billing or check-in errors. The location is convenient for the airport and stadium, though one reviewer cautioned the surrounding area isn't the best. Overall, it's a practical choice for short stays despite the trade-offs.

The property itself was what I needed. But I wouldn't stay here as like a vacation. I'll just traveling through. It's been most my time outside of the property. I just spent a little time by the pool which is nice the hot tub had some debris in there please but the net was there but could have been clean. My experience was majority of the people who stay there thought uncomfortable by the pool with so many unsupervised kids that didn't have the respect or manners of other guests. Like for example kicking a soccer ball around that could have hit somebody in the face. Playing with the emergency life wrap which they broke. Probably should supervise this area more. The room was clean I didn't have a problem with the room. The staff could use a little work as I've asked two times for towels and housekeeping one day but never got it. Had to go downstairs to get towels. Security was nice at night to watch over the vehicles. Close to the airport which was good.

I was worried because this place used to be a La Quinta with a bit of a bad reputation. But its been updated & upgraded. You get plates, a dishwasher & an overnite security guard in the parking lot fir a reasonable price. Very nice.

The hotel was nice overall, but the bathroom was dirty. I paid fully on hotels.com, but the desk charged my card at check-in and I assumed it would go away after checking out, but it remained on card. After fully paying on hotels.com ahead of time, the front desk charged the full rate on my card again.

The hotel staff were friendly & welcoming. I didn't get to check out the amenities since my stay was only 2 nights & it rained - so no pool time :( My room overall was spacious & comfortable, however my door didn't close smoothly - I had to push it rather forcefully to open or close it all the way. Breakfast options were good though, I appreciated having both waffles and pancakes available along with the typical eggs, meat, and bagel selection.

Room was not up to standards. The lobby was beautiful setting the standards for the hotel. It was a huge disappointment when we saw our room. We were expecting something much better. The showerhead and faucet were not attached to the wall. The outlets in the bathroom needs to be replaced. The enamel of the bathtub was very dinged up.
