Nice place , but check in and out policy not friendly. Had a 4:00 check in but had to wait till 4:30 in 102 weather. They did try to make it up with a 12:00 check out. The pools were murky and questionable for water cleanliness. The room was beautiful and well maintained.

The elevator buttons don't work from the fourth floor. The key cards take dozens of swipes attempts to open the room door. Experience shared by other frustrated guests. The bathrooms smell like the p-trap or drainage has a leak. Soccer kids flooding the hallway, knocking on doors, being uncontrolled kids.

Breakfast was good and the morning ladies that worked it were very nice. The safety issue that needs to be pointed out is the elevator. The elevator near the front desk in my opinion is unsafe. I reported it to the front desk. Several people I spoke with agreed. The elevator once reaching the 4th floor makes an extremely loud hum and vibrates like it is sticking. You can hear it all the way down to the other end of the long hallway. We stayed for over 3 weeks, and it never got repaired after my pointing it out about the second day. The rooms are average, not bad for the price.

The continental breakfast is good. The bathroom doors are terrible, only one working ice machine in the entire hotel. The elevators need some serious cleaning and maintenance.

The hotel it self was nice, we ended up having a ceiling leak, and it was a broken toilet above our bathroom. it soaked all the clothes on the floor with you know what kind of filthy water. they did move our room, but i thought they would have offered to wash our clothes but that didn't happen. The pool was cold and the hot tub was barely warm, that was a disappointment. also i got charged more than quoated.

The room was for the most part clean but some areas were not. There was stuff on the curtains and the hot water did not work at all. The elevators and hallways need some love and cleaning. The pool was a little smelly? We probably would not stay her again even for a quick resting place.

This place is run down and smells quite terrible in certain rooms. We had to change rooms after the first smelled like sewage. There were stains all over the carpet and couch. Also, the key cards stopped working multiple times each day and despite having to get the front desk to help us, they continued to stop working. Finally, all the doors are constantly propped open so it didn’t feel very safe or secure.

Location was great, very walkable to stores and restaurants. The hotel needs many updates, our room had a strong urine smell. The bed smelled like urine and the floors did also. The bathtub had patches on it, and needed more permanent repairs. The staff were friendly and check in was easy.

This establishment should be reported to the board of health. The first room we were offered yielded a nice live bug crawling around on the sheets, plenty of very curly hairs surrounding the tub and a dog that was barking non stop across the hall in room 420. I went to the front desk and she offered another room. No bugs detected but the mattress was filthy. Showed her the photo of it and her response was “I don’t work in housekeeping”. I am sorry that we didn’t have another option. And sorry for all the unsuspecting people that just want a clean place to rest.

Hotel was dirty and not maintained. They cover the smell of old muggy scent with fragrances throughout all vents. Our tub was clogged and shower head did not work. Doors and walls dirty. Carpet old and dirty. They offer free breakfast from 6 am to 9 am. but was unable to make it before they closed it, so I can’t say how good was. I do Not recommend this hotel.

We stayed in room 220, it was okay not bad. The only thing I did not like was there was chest or pubic hair on the nathroom floor, which was pretty gross, especially for the price of the room and $150.00 deposit-you do get back if you don't trash the room. I loved the location of the hotel.

Room wasn’t the cleanest. There was debris in the ac unit, hair in the bathroom. Lampshade had an obscenity drawn on it along with a huge stain. I tried to not stay too long in the room as I had a plumbing issue at my house and due to an event most hotels were sold out. The event was Charlie Kirk Funeral.

Could not access WiFi. Toilet was cracked surprised it didn't leak. Mostly clean but everything is old and dinghy. Our room next to elevator on the 3rd floor was ridiculously loud everytime it arrived listened to it ALL night! I refused to get back in that elevator after 1st arriving due to the loud noise sounded like it was going to fail and fall. No privacy lock on the weird double bathroom doors. Good location for what we were in town for but don't think we'd stay there again or recommend to anyone

The hotel is not bad... it just feels old, the carpets need renewing the repairs on the room are very noticeable, the lightning too dim. Makes you feel you are in an old hotel.

Upon arrival, we were disheartened to discover that the assigned room had an unpleasant odor. The front desk staff regrettably informed us that no alternative rooms were available. We also requested that all the bedding be replaced with fresh sheets, comforters, and pillows, as this seemed to be the source of the unpleasant smell, and requested that the room be refreshed. However, upon our return in the afternoon, no changes had been made. After our third request, the room was finally cleaned. This experience reflected a significant lack of satisfactory customer service.

I have been loyal to LaQuinta for decades. This trip, we stayed 4 nights and requested housekeeping in the second day. Didn’t happen. Requested again on the next day. Went to the front desk asking the status of housekeeping and was told we were the next room. Didn’t happen. Asked for an explanation, didn’t get one. Asked for a manager to call with an explanation. Didn’t get it. So frustrating to have such poor service.

Sam working the front desk was Amazing! he was swamped with lots of guests coming after the ballgame to check in, on top of handling the phone ringing off the hook with service needs of Guests in rooms. He was absolutely the most calm and courteous to all the guests. I made a point of telling the desk the next AM and they said he was new! One of the best service providers i have ever had! You have a great employee!

Added a 150$ charge for each nite, had to charge back to get credit. Desk staff mostly uncooperative manager took opportunity to charge fees saying “ the computer” does this. Keys didn’t work on 3 of 5 returns to the room. Front desk said “ I just work here”. Treated customers with a poor attitude: take it or leave it! Cleaning staff was very polite & helpful.

It takes a lot for me to write a review, good OR bad, but I cant let this one go. As a former Washington State legislator, my wife and I were excited to go to our first Mariners Spring Training. For 18 years I’ve missed Spring Training because its during the same time as our legislative session.When I retired from the legislature, Mariners Spring Training was at the top of my list. About a month before heading to AZ we reserved the room and chose the option to pay at the property. We let them know our flight info but by the time we got there they (a little after midnight) the clerk had given our room away. The clerk was rude and responded with “we ran your card..”not the one I was planning to pay w/..”it was declined for the entire amount and we gave your room away and we have the LEGAL RIGHT to do so and we have no more rooms, good luck” what an asswh***! We had to go 10 miles away to Goodyear!I have travel all over the US and world. I’ve stayed in underpriced 5 star Hotels and overprice flea bags, but never have I encountered such rudeness and disrespect as a customer. Its a great location for Mariners Spring training but the customer care is THE WORST I HAVE EVER WITNESSED and until that changes I recommend you not stay there.

Terrible experience. We arrived very late only to find our key card didn’t work. I had to go back and forth to the front desk several times, and each time the front desk clerk rolled her eyes. After multiple tries, they downgraded our room but refused to refund the price difference. The room we were moved to smelled strongly of smoke, even though the hotel claims to be non-smoking. I have a toddler and a teenager with asthma, and I’m asthmatic too—it was awful. The next morning, the same employee tried to argue with me again about my complaint. And the cherry on top? She said, “Oh, there was a note here that said the room smelled like smoke.” So they knew about the problem and still gave us that room. The room next door was loud all night with yelling and blaring TV, and the front desk brushed it off as “kids,” even though it clearly wasn’t. We only received a refund for the nights we didn’t stay. After the stay, I even had to take my son to the hospital for a breathing treatment. I’ll never stay here again, which is sad because we used to visit this area once or twice a year.

Had a bad experience with another hotel in area, La Quinta had rooms available. Stay was nice, you can tell an older hotel, room was big. Walkable restaurants from hotel and sports complex was around the corner.

Absolutely love the location. It’s in walking distance to so many restaurants. The room and property was clean. The staff was friendly. The price was perfect which included a hot breakfast. We will be returning many more times.

There was no soap … just one shampoo bottle for all your cleansing needs. Don’t know when the room had been dusted. Hair in the sink. The coffee at breakfast was horrible. There was sausage, but no eggs unless you wanted to try to get the hard boiled ones out of their package with your teeth. The pastry was stale. The cereal was old. I don’t usually give bad reviews, but wanted to give other folks a heads up. I’ve stayed in much nicer places for less.

We stayed for 5 days and the hot breakfast (eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes & biscuits and gravy) was different every day for variety! The staff were friendly however when we asked for a scenic drive in the area the front desk gal could not help us with local sites. Our room door key failed us a few times (despite us being vigilant on where we placed the key in our purses, no electronics) plus the door was a little tricky to open. Housekeeping came only once upon request, which I believe was the deal with housekeeping. The hotel served us well for the location and the restaurants in the area were very good! I would recommend this hotel.
