To be honest, I wasn't expecting much from a property right on the freeway. But, the price was right during OSU move in weekend, so we took a chance. Boy, am I glad that we did! Not only was this property very convenient, it was clean, spacious, had a great breakfast, and great staff. Only one issue is that part of the work out room needs some maintenance, but we'll definitely be back over the next several years.

It was ok except that the pool was closed the second day of our stay for maintenance. We were there for a weekend of Basketball so a hotel full of young boys wanting to swim after full days of basketball was rough on those with families with multiple children.

This was a pleasant surprise! I wasn’t expecting much based upon the outside of the building. However, I had one of the best hotel experiences in my life. The pictures on the website are exactly what it looks like on the inside. I have stayed at luxury hotels all over the world and this hotel has to be one the cleanest I have ever stayed in! My room was spotless. No nasty dust in the bathroom exhaust fan, fluffy towels, spotless carpeting, even the lamp shades were clean. The staff is honestly amazing. Friendly and very helpful. The free breakfast was very nice and varied every day. It was nice to eat off of real plates with flatware and cups. I will defiantly be calling the Phoenix Inn “home” the next time I’m in Albany.

My room was not cleaned. Though they changed the toilet paper roll and left fresh towels, the same sheets from the night before were left on the bed. The nightstands were not wiped off and sanitized nor was the room vacuumed. I was very disappointed.

Excellent room design. The toilet and sgower are in one room. There is a separate areawith mirror, excellent lighting, sink, and good laydown area for the wife to use. Negative....No USB ports? Been a long time since I have been in a gotel room with no USB ports. I stopped carry a charger a couple of years ago, just a USB cord. My bad.

The room was quiet and very clean. I forgot my swimsuit!? *sigh* Oh, well. No USB ports anywhere in rooms. We had a handicapped room and there was plenty of space and features for this. Bed was too hard and we could easily feel it when the other person moved. Breakfast was nice and lasted a good long while. Price was decent. No safe in room but had a lockbox at the front desk. Nice location. We will be back again.

Stayed for one night. Hotel is nice with all the amenities like a chain hotel. Rooms were large except for the bathroom. The bathroom sink is out in the main area which to me is not a huge deal but might be for some. Comfortable beds and hardly any exterior noises so I definitely got a good night sleep. WiFi service was top of the line. Was able to stream movies without any lag time. Complimentary breakfast was good and sufficient amount of selections to get your day started. Would recommend this place over the other brand name hotels in Albany. Excellent value and comfort for your money.

If you could give zero starts, that would still be too many. The Manager of the front desk was quite possibly the rudest person I have encountered ever at a front desk. I only hope that as she ages she encounters people that offer much more grace than she demonstrated to others.

Great from start to finish. I was traveling for work for my coffee business and was glad I stayed here. Check in was quick and easy. Cassie and Cassandra were very helpful and gave me amazing service while I was here. My room was nice and clean. Breakfast food and area was nice as well. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.

Contrary to the sign for the property, which is quite dated, the property was in very good condition inside and out. The lobby was large and the furnishings were nice. The staff were incredibly friendly with every encounter I had with them. I would definitely stay again!

We were on the third floor. The people upstairs checked in around 11pm and were partying and stomping on the floor all night. I called the front desk at 2:30am to complain. The staff agreed to confront the people but nothing happened. I slept for a few hours.
