We really enjoyed our stay. The standard king room was great, awesome TV and bathroom. We wished we were there longer! The pool looked great although we didnt have time to try it. The buffet was amazing for dinner so many options made fresh to order, i would have eat there all week! However the cafe that was open late needed some staffing help. People complaining that they couldnt take their breaks, cooks about to fall asleep and a manager chilling on his laptop while theres a big line of people. Our burgers had been sitting in a warmer and the fries were also cold. When approaching there were people right outside the entrance smoking weed which was an unfortunate experience for my wife and I. Then once inside the lobby we were greeted with a dusty mercedes and the air quality of 1970's vegas. THICK with smoke. not sure where it was coming from but it absolutely ruined our outfits. We smuggled new clothes back out to our SUV and changed in the parking lot for the evening to avoid having that awful smell on our clothes for the nights activities. Lastly, we were told by our check in assistant to call down in the morning and tell the front desk that we wanted a late check out, so we could have brunch and see the pool. when we did that we were told that we could not do late check out. so that was disappointing. The elevator hall call is confusing and kinda clunky. not my favorite. its nice to keep casino guests from wandering onto hotel guest floors but that didnt work.

The room was clean. There were some minor issues with the lights. Turn switch broken on side bed light and lamp by couch. Timothy who checked us in did not provide information on how to use the elevator to get to our room. Nor ask if we will be visiting the pool for wrist band. Another rep showed us along with other guest how to access out room via elevator. Timothy didn't even ask if this was our first visit.

There are lights in the garage to make finding a parking spot with ease. Red light means parking is full and green light of course means a spot is open to park.

Had a great time❣️. Close to home & love the area! Spa was booked, so get appointments early. No, day pass to just use amenities (Boooo…they need to fix that)….The pool is not heated…boooo!!…Parking is a lil confusing, so drive carefully (they need to fix that)….Husbae enjoyed the slots$$$…room was cozy & great view…everything is new & nice!!!….Steak house was delicious!!! And the ENTIRE STAFF was kind, friendly, concerned, & just exemplary service (rare find these days)… 10 out of 10!!

Brand new hotel, very nice and comfortable. Check in & out was fast. Elevator system made you feel really secure and the jacuzzi is huge. Will be back as soon as I can.

I didn’t like the parking in the garage or facility plus the valet parking was backed up.

Hot tub was great. But the casino slots do really show too much action. Hardly any winning and bonus rounds. Wasnt too impressed with the slots.

The Food Bazaar was excellent. The property is beautiful. Great clean new rooms.

Very upgraded, impeccably clean and quiet room! Tea, coffee and water was a great plus. Comfortable bed was the best coming late from family gathering. Unfortunately valet was full but parking lot walk isn't bad and easy access.

The Wind Creek Southland Casino Hotel was a great stay. It was extremely clean, and the staff was professional, attentive and kind. We were greeted with smiles and cheerful greetings by everyone. I will definitely stay there again and recommend to all my friends and family.

Everyone was very friendly. I felt safe staying their alone. The rooms and common area were clean and smelled wonderful. The buffet is great.

This is a nice brand-new casino hotel Southland Chicago. Do you like casino? This is a great trade-off. You are in business and like doing some sport, they do have fitness and pool. However, there is potential, the phone is missing in the area to report an issue after sport you don’t find a shower in the pool area, need to go to your room to wash off your sweat. Laundry must stay. There were heavy difficulties with opening the door to the pool area. I could enter the pool at one out of four occasions as they failed. At the one I succeeded It took half an hour to get someone opening the door, however, I was pleased out of the pool after two minutes as I did not wore a wristband, which nobody told me to have. For that reason and a not fully cleaned and stuffed room on the extended day I’m rating the service poor. Maybe a small element, but if you want to be 4* Hotel, this must be resolved. On my complaint reception the Hotel promised in writing they would fix the issue. Check yourself/or not. For all the rest very clean, modern and comfortable hotel.

My experience was awesome. The decor in the room was mid-mod! So spacious and pretty. Loved the tech features! The security of the result was cutting edge. Scan your key and be directed to an elevator! Spent a few hours and dollars in the casino. Fun! Didn't try the restaurant but definitely on my next trip. We will stay here again.

We were traveling for a wedding. Casino decor was impressive- and staff was outstanding. Staff that we crossed paths with had a smile and were eager to help. Food service late night was slow at the one “grab and go” option on site. Beds were comfortable, rooms were gorgeous and clean… lighting was dim… if you have a few ladies trying to put on makeup, they’ll all have to do it in the bathroom mirror - the rooms were clean, trendy and gorgeous… but not well lit for getting ready! Bathrooms were 5/5. Overall - awesome.

The conveniece of the hotel was great. The only concern was the bed. The bed sits too low. The bathroom was nice. Buge shower and very hot water.

The check in process was pleasant and smooth but there could have been more information provided regarding how to navigate the elevators, the building, the services available in the hotel, etc. The person who checked us in didn't even tell us how to get to the elevators to get to the room. It was our first time staying there but they didn't ask. The bedding was clean, however it was very uncomfortable. Other than that it was a great stay and I would recommend this hotel.

Tangela (whom checked us in) and Anastasia (whom checked us out) were some of the most polite and professional women I’ve encountered in a long time! We are already planning another visit here!

Rooms clean and the staff was so nice and accommodating

Check-in was a bit of a hassle as I was promised early check in, but then had to wait. Besides that, the room was stunning, exactly like the pictures. Bellmen were outstanding and the staff were all kind and accommodating. Will be returning!

I liked that the property is brand new and the hotel is very nice. I don't like that I have had to call them back twice to determine why I have been billed for charges that I did not make. This is a real problem. I still haven't resolved the return of the $100.00 per night incidental fee, and the additional $140.00 that they charged me on top of this for purchases/incidentals that I did not make. BEWARE -- make sure you get a copy of your bill at checkout and review it. The front desk was to email me mine, but it has never arrived, so I didn't know that I was charged until my credit card notification arrived hours later, too late as we were already well on our way out of town.

I would have given a higher rating however I was charged $300.00 cleaning fee and I DON'T SMOKE! I was told some sensor went off in my room and I had already left. Im discussing this with management as well as my credit card co. This was truly unfair and EXTREMELY upsetting. Im not rich and I don't have extra money to be held.

Nice hotel for the area.

Very convenient location just off I-94/90/80. The check in staff (Fela) was friendly and welcoming. Hotel room was amazingly decorated with gold accents, all the modern amenities and the bed comfort was excellent. Would definitely make a return visit.

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary ❤️ and it was a very nice place to do that at. Plus the casino is there so we were able to play the slot machines. We had a great time.

Our stay was wonderful! We loved the room, it was luxurious. We had a lovely meal at the steakhouse, although we thought the prices were a little high. We also enjoyed the casino.

Customer wonderful no breakfast for the price of hotel is not not good

Loved the hotel and overall atmosphere at the property. The food selection was great also. I will definitely be planning another trip!

We stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful time. The rooms are gorgeous and the beds and pillows are fluffy and comfortable. Shower was enormous and had nice quality shampoo conditioner and body wash. We booked treatments at the spa and spent several hours using the amenities prior and after our treatments. The spa is fantastic and the treatments were wonderful. Staff was all extremely nice and helpful throughout resort and spa. We had lunch for $24.95 all you can eat among several different restaurant types, it was delicious and a great value. We stayed here to see a concert at United Center. It’s about 30-40 min drive but worth it for us to spend our money on spa treatments instead of an overly expensive hotel closer to the venue. Highly recommend will stay here again.

They have a Starbucks which I loved and a lot of food options to choose from at their food court. They also have a steakhouse restaurant on the top floor that has an amazing view.
