I booked this hotel on our long drive back from Florida to the north specifically because it had an indoor pool. The pictures online made the room and pool look nice but as we arrived, you could see the pool was very green from algae and not clear at all. I didn’t want to risk my kids getting very sick if they swam in it.

This is a very nice hotel. Comfortable room, great beds, super clean. Was most disappointed in their advertised “fitness center” - no free weights, and minimal equipment. Staff was super nice, breakfast was great and check in and check out was extremely smooth. Right off I40 so super convenient!

When I had originally booked this room it was for the in room bath tub jets/ jacuzzi but when I checked in the hotel did not have them anymore and they did not update their online images of the remodel according to the staff. Other then that the room was nice the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good the next day

Cheaply updated rooms. Floors are filthy, our feet were black just from walking around without shoes in the room. The hallway outside our room smelled like dried urine. The couch in our room had a huge visible wet spot so obviously we weren’t able to even use it. Just all around not a clean room or hotel.

The hotel was poorly decorated and felt a little dirty. We reserved a room for 6. The pull out bed was dirty. Crumbs and stains on the mattress pad. Left a bad impression. The hotel seemed way overpriced for the quality. The pros were the room was large and the pool area was small but nice. The location was decent.

Unfortunately, the room wasn’t as clean as expected. The washroom and floor were dirty, and the fitted sheet on the pullout bed hadn’t been cleaned in either room. However, the gentleman at the front desk was very apologetic and helpful in arranging a clean room for me. While this might have been a one-off issue, it’s disappointing that it happened at all.

The staff was wonderful and the facility was fairly clean. There were a few insects in the room on the morning of our checkout but they appeared harmless. The issue came when our room key stopped working before our checkout time which cause my partner great distress as he has anxiety about room keys not working.

Our last hotel stay on our way back to NC from California. Comfortable spacious room. 2 queens & sofa with table to sit & relax. A/C worked great. Well maintained property inside & out and breakfast with bacon which is rare. Employees made sure there was plenty of fresh food. Comfort Inn made this a great last night of our 17 hotel stay.

The hotel is older and has been updated. The room was nice sized. But needed some repairs. The faucet in the tub leaked all of the time. The toilet was a little loose and would run once in a while. The staff was friendly, and breakfast was not bad.

Having stayed here before, I like this place. This wd easily be 5 stars if not for the HVAC system. Motels must move away from the old outdated wall units and switch to mini splits!! Is virtually impossible to have uninterrupted sleep as the system is so loud. In the dark of the night, u hear this very obvious clicking sound then the fan kicks on, it so loud, that u must increase the tv volume to hear the tv; then when the compressor kicks in, it sounds like a freight train is coming through as the unit vibrates the wall!! The staff and owners should visit this room and try staying here. Then, when the system switches off, the tv is blaring b/c the volume is now too high. When people travel, they want a clean, safe, quiet place to lay their head. Mini splits are whisper quiet and I’m sure they’d be considerably more efficient.

We reserved a king room, nonsmoking suite. When we arrived we had queens. Didn't bother with changing. However, our suite had no couch or chair, no coffee table or end table. The other side of the room was bare, as well. Breakfast was disappointing. The gravy for the not-quite-done biscuits was watered down a lot and not very warm. The eggs weren't very warm. There was no sausage as described, just ham (still had over an hour until closing). We were on the side of the highway and it was very loud and the AC unit made a lot of noise. The beds and pillows were comfortable. While each complaint is not a big deal in itself, add them together and we were pretty disappointed. When I mentioned at the front desk while checking out about the room, she knew the room number before I even said it and said "that's the only room without furniture" Why wouldn't they have told us when we checked in and given us options??? The housekeeping staff and front desk were nice, so there's that compliment.

The room was nice. Flooring looked good however I would have liked a rug. There was no dresser to put clothes in and no full length mirror or other mirror besides the bathroom. The TV should have been installed on the wall between the two beds instead of directly in front of one bed or should have been on a mount that could be pulled out and tilted towards other parts of the room.

I felt that the Clerk was very impersonal and unwelcoming which is ok but if you are going to be like that you must have some redeemable qualities like being great at your job. After driving 900 miles, we checked in at 1:00 am and got to our room and the keys didn’t work. I guess he was tired as well. At checkout the clerk was very friendly.

This property flouts a rigid, unyieldingly, and anti-customer attitude. When attempting to book a stay here using a mobile device, we inadvertently booked the wrong night. Immediately calling customer service we were notified that the hotel refused to budge and would not let us change or cancel. WE WILL NEVER UTILIZE THIS PROPERTY and will actively discourage anyone we can from bringing business to such a poorly run establishment. You have succeeded in your quest to turn people away. I am satisfied with everything and it is very good The only thing is, when checking in at the hotel, we waited for about 10 minutes. There was no one there, and one man seemed to be having a chat in the back. He saw us, but he didn't come to the counter and help us, so I thought the man was a guest like Woochi and called him. I did not. After waiting for over 5 minutes, I tapped the counter with my hand and he came and checked me in. I wanted to give it 5 stars, but because of that, my family and I had no choice but to give it 4 stars.

Do not book here. They have a zero tolerance cancellation policy, even immediately, in good faith, within mere minutes of clicking the reservation. Did not even want to keep the business by changing the day. Reservation was off by a week, and still wanted to stay there and change the reservation, but no quarter was given.

This was our fourth time to stay at this location, and as usual, the hotel was clean, the breakfast was good, and the staff we had direct contact with were great. Unfortunately, during breakfast on our second day, a man who I assumed to be the manager loudly berated a staff member at the front desk in front of everyone. He created a scene that made everyone present uncomfortable. I was embarrassed for the staff member. The manager either does not belong in his position or needs some leadership training.

We chose pay at property option and the hotel tried running payment hours before we arrived , we were paying with a diff card on file and they gave our room away. After working all day and driving 8 hrs into town, even AFTER I called at 7am to confirm our reservation and to let them know we would be arriving after midnight. So we arrived into town and had to find a diff hotel at 4am. It was rediculous.

Be aware when you stay at this hotel, that if you accidentally use a card that can be used as credit and debit, you will be charged twice. Apparently, according to the front desk that is normal and my fault for not using a good ole credit card. And in order to get one of the charges refunded, you have to be on a 3 way call, during M-F business hours with your bank manager, yourself and the manager of the hotel for it to be released. The front desk person interrupted me no less than 20 times when I called about this. The room was great, but the customer service was DISMAL, and while we visit Knoxville many times a year, we will never go back to this hotel again.

Overall, it was a comfortable stay. We rolled in at 11 pm and left by 8 am, so didn’t really get to take advantage of much. My biggest complaint was that I could hear the trucks on the highway from our room, but this is a hotel right off the exit, so not much can be done about that.

The mattress was awful...No support...lumpy. The hotel did flip it for us but it was the same on both sides and the bed was on a platform that was too low. The shower head hose needed to be replaced as it looked old and rusting. The morning breakfast consisted of powdered scrambled eggs and only one choice of meat. I will not stay there again.

Great overnight stay room was clean and everything I would expect. The breakfast had the normal boring cereal, bland eggs and biscuits and plain white gravy (no sausage in it) blueberry muffins.
