#1. The staff was kind & friendly in every department. #2. Very comfy beds & pillows. Our room was large with a fridge & microwave with breakfast included. I was impressed at the healthy choices. The pool was clean with towels & bathrooms. They even had fun floaties for everyone to use. For an older hotel on the side of a highway, it was a wonderful place to stay.

The staff was amazing! And the beds and pillows were super comfy. We came to visit the observatory and were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the hotel was. The kids enjoyed the pool and there was even a bunch of pool toys to keep them entertained. Great stay!

They were updating the lock, I had to use a key and it was kind of hard to figure out. The pool was closed and that is a big part of what I had planned my family vacation around. I guess they were missing a part for the disability pool chair so no one was allowed to use the pool. It was a very big let down. I feel like I should have been compensated in some way since I didn’t get what I paid for.

This facility was in need of an update. The room smelled like it was an old smoking room and they tried to hide the smell by using that carpet deodorizer before vacuuming. We all started sneezing and had stuffy noses after sleeping a night in the room. The door keys would not work, so I had to go to the office twice to get them re-programmed. Still if they worked it was one time before not working again. Flooring in the bathroom and main area of the room needs updated. Loud guests were also allowed to yell at each other well in to the night directly outside our room.

The key card locks were not working. Staff advised us how to open our room door with a key, which worked sometimes. Help us all if there was a fire or other emergency and the door wouldn’t open. Not sure what corporation owns this Quality Inn but I’m sure the door situation wouldn’t fly with their insurance company. They’d be cancelled. Would not stay here again and would drive hours away to find other options.

It was off the beaten path from the highway which was quiet. The carpet needs a good cleaning I didn't want to walk in there barefoot, and there was a used Band-Aid on the soap dispensers in the shower.

The room I rented was dirty . I found a sticky spill on the top of the dresser & under the TV & into the top drawer that had only been partially cleaned. I found toenail clippings & human hair around the corners of carpeted areas & on bathroom floors that had not been mopped. The shower was absolutely awful & toilet ran constantly & made screeching & squealing noises constantly all night. The beds were both very uncomfortable & broken down & The carpet was sticky & gross & the entire space was very outdated under kept & cleaned & over used in general ! The office & breakfast area was pretty snazzy though . . . lol ! The pool was pretty decent though too !!! I give my stay a pushed 3 stars considering the area & location of this place .

Cons: The room had a strong musky smell, no WiFi connection even tho is advertised as available, the tv only had 5 local channels working and 2 were not clear, can’t connect your hot spot to watch any streaming. The good: low cost, good continental breakfast included, the lady in charge was excellent and the same for the ladies on the reception very friendly.

The room was clean and the staff were excellent. The television had reception issues, but fine. Some cosmetic issues with the room which didn’t bother us. Overnight attendant was especially helpful with getting us an extra blanket. Top notch helpful and pleasant employees.

Room was clean and met our needs, the toilet had a hard time flushing, the heat lamp timer in the bathroom didn't work and I would've liked to have been able to log into my netflix on the tv but all in all it was a good room for the price, the staff were super friendly and the breakfast was pretty decent

Disappointing Front desk people were quite kind. This is the smallest room I have ever stayed in! Barely room for the queen size bed! Room was so small the microwave and refrigerator were stacked on top of the TV console! Coffee maker is perched next to the sink. Photos on Expedia did not represent this well.

Staff members were friendly, helpful, and competent. Rooms were clean. The physical plant is decent and seems fairly well maintained. But (1) The fan on the heater/air conditioner in our room was too loud even on its “low” setting. We had to shut it off before going to bed. (2) When you turn on the bathroom light another loud fan steals the scene. To keep from waking each other we didn’t turn that light on during the night, and had to depend on a night light located outside the bathroom to find our way around the bath room.

This was a clean and comfortable place and had a nice homey feel in the lobby. The desk clerk that handled our check in, (i believe her name was Bree), was friendly, courteous, professional, and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, properly stocked, and everything in working. The desk clerk the next morning when we checked out, (Colton), was also courteous, professional, attentive, and helpful. I had a billing question that was answered to my complete satisfaction. I want to give these two individuals my thanks and a 5 star review of excellence. The hotel was great, the room was wonderful, but the way these two handled themselves impressed me the most as a tired traveler. Thank you Quality Inn iand Suites in Goldendale.

Check-in was good but room and breakfast was a little short of being good. The room had a bad Oder as soon as you open the door my first words to my wife is what is that smell? They had the ac fan set to 60 degrees. I’m sure to try to mask the smell. The breakfast was ran by one person that couldn’t keep up with the supply and demand. Had no meat products to choose from. Both dishes were empty of scrambled eggs. The biscuits were not completely cooked all the way. So it was basically fruit and packaged danishes with a coffee.

The waffles and eggs were really good. I do wish there was some meat options like bacon or something but it was set up well. The pillows were amazing. They weren’t flattening like most hotel pillows do. The bed was really firm. It was comfortable to relax on but it get a bit painful waking up in the morning. The staff was amazing and we loved the housekeeping ladies
