The room looks old, bathroom door wasn’t closing nicely and need a second coat of paint! The water tank is leaking and fridge freezer what’s inside. Shower curtain has a whole in it. Cup of cigarettes butts outside of the room, smell of weed outside and inside the room, bedsheets with holes and dirty. Bath tub anti slide strips useless and hot/cold water regulator not working as well as AC.

This is one of the worst hotel rooms we have ever stayed at. The very first thing is the door would not open even after using the key - we would have to bang it in to get the door open. Booked the non-smoking room and got a smoking room no other vacancies to switch us. The room smelled bad of cigarette smell, and marijuana. The floors were dirty and even sticky to walk on. The towels looked like they were folded, but not washed - one had pubic hair on it. There were cigarette burns in the chairs and on the comforter. There were two blood spots on the sheet. The nightstand barely stood up since it was very old and broken. The toilet and the shower/bath was dirty. We could not get any TV channels in on the TV. The worst of all about the room is above the shower had black mold! We could not stay for the second night that was booked since we started getting sick from the mold.

DO NOT STAY HERE — it’s absolutely disgusting. I paid about $110 a night thinking it would be a decent, no-frills stay, but it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room reeked of cigarette smoke, and there was no option to choose a non-smoking room. I had my young daughter with me, and the conditions were completely unacceptable. The bedding was stained with burns and what looked like blood, there were crumbs and hairs in the sheets, and I even found a bug in the bed. The bathroom was leaking, and everything felt dirty and neglected. Outside the room, people were yelling late at night, and the environment felt unsafe. I didn’t even stay the last two days I had the hotel, I could only barley survive the first night and also the hotel refused to refund me my money.

The sheets in our room were dirty (not sure if it was mud or something else…) when we arrived so the very nice clerk got us a new room. The room appeared clean but I woke up with bug bites on my neck and arm. A cockroach ran across the counter when we went to the office the next morning too. 😫

The room was clean, but there was a pervasive smell of stale tobacco and cigarette burn marks on furniture and the side of the tub. The door had been kicked in at some point in the past and the ceiling was stained. The front desk host was pleasant to talk to. It was great to be only 5 minutes from Ft. Jackson for BCT graduation with Walmart and food nearby. We were only in the room to sleep and shower and then gone again.

We came for our daughters, basic training graduation plus some extra adventuring. We really appreciate the hospitality and the kind workers! Yes, the hotel is older, and with that comes things that are uncontrollable and should not harm the overall rating. I will absolutely stay here again! We enjoyed the breakfast and the biscuits and gravy are amazing, but nothing special. This is a great place for those who appreciate the little things in life.

Check-in wasn't done to standard & had to leave & come back @ 3pm, eventhough check-in was at 2pm. Roaches were all over the place, especially at night. Had to leave a light on to minimize them getting on the nightstand & bed. Outside steps & balcony floor was dry rotted wood and some areas were literally broken (steps were the worse). No noise control. Had guest making loud annoying conversations literally at 1, 2 & 3 am and no hotel staff intervened

If you are not looking for luxury and just want a place to sleep, this is a perfect place to book a room if you have a graduating soldier at fort Jackson. The gate (2) is 5 minutes away, and there are a ton of places to go eat around there. The management was very helpful and accommodating we accidentally booked a room in a smoking area and they offered to filer the room out, and and give us a room on a non smoking section when a room was available since all the rooms were booked due the graduation. Like I said if you just want a room to sleep in and is very close to fort Jackson gate 2 this is your place!

Nice people, but you are paying to be close to Fort Jackson. The room reeked of cigarette smoke, the tub would not turn off and dripped so badly I had to put a towel in the bottom to muffle the noise. The breakfast photo shows a microwave, but I don’t know why. It was toast and frozen waffles. If you want to be just outside the fort, this is the place. Towels and bedding were clean. But decor was dated and depressing.

Look, the price tag is great. But the cockroaches? Not so great. The holes in the wall? Whatever I guess. The gap in the door to the outside? The tilt in the second floor? Not Super. But like I said, it’s cheap. And the sheets were clean (as far as we could tell) and there was a carb filled continental breakfast. So, grab a ding dong, feed it to the roaches, and be happy you didn’t spend that much. And then never stay here again.
