The Seaside Inn is in an ideal location. It is literally on the beach! Multiple restaurants and music venues are all within walking distance. The staff was extremely friendly and everything was clean. It was really a nice experience. There is parking available for a price that changes seasonally. I would absolutely stay here again!

The staff was very accommodating. We needed to change rooms for health reasons. They quickly found another room to meet our needs. We rented a golf cart to explore the island. The maintenance man set up a charging station for us. The only drawback was the room was very bright at night. I would book this hotel again if I was in the Charleston area. Thanks for being so kind.

Everyone at the Seaside Inn was so nice and helpful to us. We came from Vermont and met friends who came from Florida. Our friends needed to change rooms the first night through no reason of the Inn, but a problem our friends had. They accommodated them so generously. Then when we could find no place in town to charge the golf cart we rented and had such a great time riding around in, the inn helped us get that charged too! Then there were the 2 pancake machines. I really looked forward to those delicious pancakes!! Also, boiled eggs, grits, oatmeal, bagels, cereal, bananas, apples, oranges, 3 bottled juices that you could take with you, yogurt. There was always bottled water, coffee, and tea available. The ocean was right out front down a short path. The room was spacious and clean. The only problem we had was a lack of a chair in the room. There was one high level, stiff chair in front of a desk, but no real comfortable chair to sit in and plenty of room for even 2 of them! Also worth a mention was the Acme Low Country Cafe restaurant. We ate there four times including breakfast, lunch and dinner and every meal was so tasty and the service was outstanding. It was so close the inn, maybe a 5 minute walk.

The rooms were clean but out dated. Rust on the bottoms of the metal door frames. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The parking can be a pain if you have a bigger vehicle and you try to park under the building. There is additional parking across the street in a gravel lot. Location is perfect for eating out, you are surrounded by great restaurants and live music. It gets quiet around 10 o’clock. A short walk to the beach and out door shower to wash off sand.
