They should not claim a workout facility. Four dumbbells on the each with four different weights. An old treadmill and bike, and some weird contraption that was unusable/slightly dangerous. Room was clean and quiet. So many nicer and improved Best Western’s I’ve visited over the last four years but this one fell way short of the mark. Breakfast was also rough with a non-functional pancake maker.

Two quiet nights with good breakfast And great room on second floor. Pool was clean but cool. They opened it up for us at 7am. No wonder they put signs on the door, Sold Out.

The gps photos ahead of time showed that there was a lot connecting to it from next door for semis. Unfortunately it wasn't updated to show the large concrete barriers that blocked certain areas so it was a bit difficult to maneuver in and the trolley wheel busted off after using, it was pouring rain when we left so it was a haul to bring luggage to the vehicle. Dust on the lamp shades and bulbs by the bed, I cleaned off the bulbs. Other than that the room was pretty good. Pool wasn't open even though the hours should have been able to but key card didn't work on it. Staff was great and very friendly.

My only complaint for this property was that my family and I chose this hotel for the indoor pool. upon arriving we found out the pool was out of service. Other than that, the hotel was nice, Staff very friendly, and I would recommend to a friend!

The parking really fills up in the evenings so good luck if you come in late. They take their deposits in cash only not as a charge hold. Their pool wasn’t warm as advertised it was actually quite cold for an “indoor heated pool” and it’s really a shame they don’t have a hot tub. They are decent overall and I’ve never had any problems the couple times I’ve stayed but they are just as nice as most other just average hotels.

The pool was larger than the pool in the 2 other hotels we stayed at on this vacation. It was clean, and the staff were great about bringing more towels to the pool area. It had a very laid back feel. Families were playing card games in the dining lounge in the evening, multiple families at the pool, with kids playing games in the water. It was a nice chill evening after a long day of driving.

Check in was fine. Not really friendly or helpful but fine. Room is big and spacious. Bed seems comfy. Had to call the front desk for help getting the water to work in the bathroom - just had to pull hard enough but didn't want to break anything. Exercise room & pool are nice. Lots of places to eat nearby, right next to the highway. Doesn't seem like a Best Western - one long hallway (2 floors) so real small. Parking is adequate around back of the building.

Pool had no towels so we had to ask the desk each time we wanted to swim. They required a cash deposit so I had to leave to find a bank and come back to check in. Rooms are decent enough.

Terrible smoke smell in room. Every time I got out of bed my foot stuck to some invisible nasty spot on the carpet. Towels were as thin and as absorbent as newspaper. I was hoping at least the free breakfast would have yogurt or a thaw and serve muffin/pastry, but no . I wouldn’t take my chances on the “eggs or sausage “.

During a one night stay I was pleased to encounter friendly and helpful staff however the room smelled like cigarettes and marijuana. I woke up to bed bugs moving underneath me in the middle of the night. Immediately recorded this on video and presented it the next morning. The staff member was quick to apologize and offer a full refund for my stay. It was resolved appropriately but big ick!!

I've stayed in a lot of hotels (I'm 69) and this is the first time I was bitten by bed bugs. I'd attach a photo but I see no place to do that. We had to leave everything outside the apartment door until all of our clothing coould go into the dryer. There were three of us in the room and I was the only one bitten, luckily. The hallways had an odd chemical amwell, and I assume that was bug spray.

Staff was friendly and efficient. Room was musty smelling and beds were clean and comfortable. Bathroom was ok but shower was gross. Plastic shower head was covered in mold and tub need maintenance. Place is effective for a night sleep over.

It was alright. Not the cleanest and smelled musty and like cigarette smoke in the halls and lobby. There was an odd attachment on the shower head that was moldy, dirty, and leaked. The tub faucet leaked too. The microwave looked straight out of the 60s and was dirty. Not the worst, but certainly not the best.

Not a fancy property but clean enough and most of the staff was very nice and helpful. Beds were a little firm for us. the area was quite loud on a weekend night with sirens and tires screeching. Not much view. We recommend asking for the second floor.

The best part of my stay was the staff. The hotel was a typical Best Western. It was clean, quiet, and had easy parking. The room was nice and comfortable. The shower had good water pressure and hot water. The climate control was accurate. The lighting around the hotel was better than most. Several restaurants nearby. The areas that can be worked on is the Internet connection/speed. I tried to watch a video, it was buffering quite often. They moved my room closer to the Wi-Fi hotspot, to no avail. I hope they look into upgrading the Wi-Fi. And all, it was a good stay, reasonably priced and a great staff. Should I be in the area again, I will consider staying here again.

The hotel seems run down. The room had signs of wear-torn duvet cover, torn curtain, stains on carpet by sink, stains on walls. The beds were comfortable enough. The room was really warm when we got there but the ac did work well enough. It just really needs a refresh. The bathroom is tight. Towels were mismatched.

The property and the staff were great. They watched over our motorcycles when we weren't able to. The room was decent, clean. We were right across from the staff laundry room/service; so the noise at times was disturbing, but it wasn't awful. The bed wasn't as comfortable as I was hoping, but still clean. Definitely a place for a short stay, but for me no more then 2 nights. The driveway in - awful. Almost got into an accident a few times, due to individuals parking facing the wrong way, and the entrance being RIGHT next to the road.

I loved this place except for the outside door slamming constantly in the early am hours and 8 to 10 hours. Now, I was right next to the door to upstairs floor at the end of the hallway or it probably wouldn't have bothered me, but it woke me many times. Other than that the place was awesome! It was clean, great shower pressure and heat, well set up room and stocked plus it came with a little happy note from the cleaning staff that made me smile. Staff was rude at check in. We discovered the shower didn’t work in the morning but had to leave. Informed staff on our way out and was rudely told specifics of how to operate a simple faucet. I told her we had done so but decided just not worth further conversation, said we needed to go & left. Also observed staff being rude to another guest with safety concerns in the parking lot.

The lady who took care of the breakfast area was an excellent example of friendliness and efficiency. She was constantly doing something, refilling, cleaning, cooking, answering questions and interacting with each person in the dining area. The manager was excellent and provided us an early check in that enabled us to get to our Thanksgiving dinner on time and not hold up 30 hungry people we love dearly. Thank you.

Upon checkin the front desk employee asked me if I was aware of the $150 cash deposit. I said no and asked her if it was stated when I booked online. She said it doesn’t say anything about it in the online booking. I told her I don’t have $150 on me. She said I would need to make the deposit. It was a debacle. They ended up letting me forgo the $150 cash deposit. That night I asked another guest if they were asked to pay the same depot- no. I asked a second quest the next morning if they weee asked to pay the $150 deposit- no. Best western in ELYRIA is a scam and shady!!!!

The only thing that I did not like about this property was the staff. I told them I booked my room with Expedia and they tried to convince me that I needed a deposit although Expedia told me I did not then when I explained that to them, they said that I need to give them $150 cash I said no you can use the card that I have on file or I would contact Expedia and they said they would waive the fee. I find this extremely sketchy and very uncomfortable because they were trying to pressure me to give them cash.

Quick check-in and warm reception. We were greeted by friendly staff over our two-night stay. Breakfast was pretty good -- nice, comfortable dining area. Reasonably sized room with king-size bed. Convenient location, just off Routes 80 and 90 but far enough to limit traffic noise, and within a couple minutes' drive to virtually every chain restaurant.

Clean and quiet. Area around has gas stations, restaurants and a Lowe’s. Great shower pressure and decent selection for breakfast. Just wanted a place to stay for the night to get off the road out of the snowy conditions- was very pleased with the place!

I found this hotel very comfortable and clean. I could see that the rooms were well presented and had enough towels and soap. Bed was comfy and the in room fridge was helpful. Overall a trouble free stay. I stayed here because of the easy access to the highway to visit Cedar Point

Desk service was quick and efficient. The room was clean and inviting. The bed was comfortable but the sheets were scratchy. The breakfast had good options and the hot food was very good. I rate the coffee as some of the better hotel coffee I’ve had.

The property was clean but old. There were no outlets for charging your phone or computer. I had to unplug the clock. The breakfast was very minimal. We were on the road for 18 days and this was the worst free breakfast we had. The evening staff was nice but charged us 3 times for 2 rooms. The morning staff fought with me about giving me a receipt. She absolutely refused. I insisted on getting one and wouldn’t leave until she gave me one.
