Probably one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. So quiet. Good temperature control in the room. They had Dove products on pump in shower (I hate fumbling with tiny travel size bottles in the shower.) Cute little kitchenette. O’Brians bar right next door if you want to get out and have a drink. Fast elevators. And there were two sets of elevators. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. I only needed to stay for the night— but such a good experience I wanted to stay longer! :)

Someone who wasn’t even a hotel guest was sitting at the patio smoking when I pulled up to check in and when I finally got my room key I circled around the the building twice looking for a parking spot because people at the bar next door took almost all the parking but as we was circling the building the guy that was smoking was walking around the hotel parking lot looking very suspicious and made me feel unsafe.

Clean property, sullen desk attendant, nice tv in room. Limited parking. Quite an active parking area as a pub and steakhouse share the area. It gets rowdy out there. People in back at the pool seem to be enjoying themselves although we didn’t partake.

Parking was quite congested, although we did not only one other thinghave a trouble finding parking it made it more difficult because there was a restaurant like next door who was also using some of the hotels parking. Staff most excellent, very courteous and polite and professional. The next time I come to Wichita what should be in 6 months or so I will definitely stay here

This hotel has been one of the WORST! We stayed one night and when we went to load my truck in the morning, it had been BROKEN INTO amd we were robbed! Ours was not the only vehicle broken into and robbed. At least 3 others had this happen last night. DON'T stay here! Call me a liar, Candlewood... I'm sitting here at a wi dow and tire place PAYING for a new window!

One of the most impressive hotel suites we've ever stayed. This was an ACTUAL handicap accessible room with wide spaces for a power wheelchair, grab bars throughout the bathroom, and the room's door actually closed slowly (dampened). The only complaint I have is the the bed was too high (not-ADA compliant) to allow an easy transfer from a wheelchair.

This was a nice place to stop in Wichita. Arie at the front desk was so friendly and welcoming. I was given a suite and it was lovely. Lots of room though I didn’t spend much time there. Good restaurant next door with a connecting bridge. Overall, a convenient, quiet, safe and friendly stay. Everything you’d expect from Candlewood.

After a long drive with my family of seven, we arrived only to find that the room I had booked was not available. The customer service I encountered was not as helpful as I had hoped, and I felt that my requests for assistance were met with a lack of understanding. When I inquired about being credited for the difference in room rates because I booked through Hotels.com, I was informed that they couldn't assist me. Additionally, when I asked to speak with the manager about my experience, I felt that the response was dismissive rather than empathetic. All I was looking for was guidance on how we could resolve the situation. After my husband had to step in to help, I was assured that I would receive a full refund, but as of now, I have not received it. I believe that enhancing communication and customer service training could really benefit future guests. Thank you for considering my feedback.

I always stay here when in Wichita. The only negative is not the hotel's fault -- the traffic pattern for getting there is rather awkward due to its location on a "frontage" road that is one way and hard to distinguish from the entrance to the freeway right next to it.

The property is nice because all of the rooms are suites. Full-size fridge, great air conditioning. The hotel is right next door to one of the most famous steakhouses in Kansas. I would have rated this higher but we did reserve a king bed and we got a queen. It was disappointing.
