Great stay. Pool was a little cold. Sauna was not working. Staff was very friendly. Great location.

Wonderful stay! Enjoy amenities--extra large pool for lap swimming, sauna, whirlpool, treadmills, weight room. Bed was comfy as well! Conveniently located to close to shopping and restaurants.

The phone and lighted mirror in the bathroom did not work. Only one bedside table has an outlet or place for charging devices. Other than those minor observations, excellent stay. The gym was great, the pillows were comfortable, and the room smelled and looked extremely clean. Stunning sunset views on the 9th floor. Would be happy to come back!

Everything was ok, but the $8.00 parking fee bugged me.

The staff was helpful and friendly. The parking was ample and not terribly expensive. The bed linens were slippery and fell off during the toss and turns of sleep. Our mini fridge was broken - but I am confident they would have repaired it if we had asked. We did not dine on the property.

The hotel has a beautiful entrance and the check-in is a breeze. It is very conveniently located. Ample of parking space available. Five elevators with no waiting time. Ideal for hosting wedding events. Overall had a great experience staying here.

The hotel was beautiful and spacious. It had a good view. Nice pool, workout room, hot tub, and sauna.

Hard to believe a place like this would just keep tacking on charges. Parking? Internet? Water? Especially when things like the shower doesn't work.

The stay was ok we loved our room always so clean and comfortable. We just was disappointed for a few inconveniences. It sucks there’s no microwave in room literally have to go all the way to the lobby to warm up food, now there’s a charge for parking, charge to use the internet, they didn’t even remind or mention that we had a credit for breakfast I had to check my hotel receipt just to confirm we had a credit to use. Pool was great, restaurant services was good. Also now you need room key to control elevator. Lot of changes that wasn’t there before.

Check in was not the greatest for me, the room was dirty, had hair and stuff in the bed. Went downstairs was given a “better & upgraded room” just for it to be dirtier than the previous and have trash on the nightstands. The third room, not only had hair in the bed and tub but the toilet was leaking. Overall, the hotel staff was nice and I was compensated but to be a Westin/Marriott hotel I expected much more especially for the price. I loved the location of the hotel as it was next to a mall and tons of food options. We were able to get to downtime pretty quickly too.

Great hotel …. VERY clean! Great location, excellent and friendly customer service, AND comfy bed; also, close to many restaurants and stores …. even has a Starbucks in the lobby!

It’s mold growing around the tub, there was no bags in the garbages. I get out the garbage and an old guest wrote not clean on the window so when the steam hit I seen it, meaning it still hasn’t been clean. Staff were amazing friendly, easy check in. I was disappointed check out was at noon an we got a knock on the door (while the do not disturb sign was on it) at 11:20 for house cleaning.

Showed up and they let us check in early which was great. We had 2 rooms and both were extremely hot and it didn’t matter what we did to lower the temp it wouldn’t work. We found blood stains on the comforter and sheets in one room and hair in the other room. The showers were terrible and felt like someone was spitting on you. The pool chlorine was so strong that it burnt our eyes and caused us to get headaches. Will not go back unless they change something.

I stayed at the Westin Lombard from March 29th to 31st, and my experience was a mix of highs and lows. When I first checked in, I was impressed by the hotel's ambiance, the efficiency of the concierge, and the welcoming front desk staff. My initial two nights were enjoyable—I dined at the hotel's restaurant and ordered room service, both of which were excellent. While preparing for check out, I discovered a stain on the top sheet that appeared to be blood. The discovery was both mortifying and disappointing, knowing I had slept in that bed for two nights. I had opted out of housekeeping during my stay, but the stained sheet should not have been overlooked in the first place. I brought the sheet to the front desk and spoke with a manager. Both the front desk representative and the manager were apologetic and professional, and the manager assured me that the matter would be addressed promptly. Later, I received an email from them offering to refund the money spent on room service as compensation. I was informed that further discounts could not be provided because I had booked through Expedia instead of directly with the hotel. I felt the resolution did not adequately address the seriousness of the issue. A stained bed sheet is unacceptable, and the method of booking should not determine the hotel's ability to offer proper compensation. Overall, while the staff's professionalism stood out, my stay was overshadowed by an issue that left me deeply disappointed.

Everything was fine until we went to shower in the morning, and there was a clump of hair in the drain. That ruined the overall experience of the stay.

The room wasn’t as clean as I would have liked. There was hair in the bathroom, and the white sheets had spots on them. Also, the mini fridge didn't keep food or drinks cold it kept them more at room temperature. Overall, I would never stay here again.

Beautiful hotel but my room and sheets were dirty. There was old food or vomit on my remote. The sheets and blanket had hair and stains on them. There was dust everywhere. The one good thing is they provided me with fresh towels and wash rags daily. Other than that, I probably would stay here again.

Very dirty pillows and sheets, it’s like everywhere i looked even on the supposed “clean sheets” there was a stain, just trifiling. Service was iffy, was getting some weird vibe from the people inside.

The air didn’t work and the room was so hot the entire time. So unclean and never took our garbage. Hair all in the bathroom and shower. Totally disgusting.

Nice place but they put me near the elevator and it was like trying to stay next to a wind tunnel. I’ve never heard anything like it. I called and asked to move rooms but they couldn’t accommodate. The bed was very uncomfortable and shower wasn’t great. As a business traveler, the Westin falls short on all the keys points. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Room was nice aside from poor tv signal. Would be nice to have microwave in each room rather than 1 microwave on main floor for entire hotel to use.

No refrigerator or microwave and room. Automatic door in lobby didn’t work had to keep pushing handicap button which was hanging off.

Room 415 just shows the top of the 4th floor and a horrible view. This room is also right next to the elevator so you can hear the foot traffic. The internet sign in said it was free for guest but we’re charged when checking out. Room 417 tub has a slow drain when getting out of the tub.

It was a decent stay. Rooms were spacious and modern. Main complaint is that could not get warm/hot water in the shower which was frustrating.

Everyone was pleasant and the bed was so comfortable! Only downfall was my room didn’t cool enough for my liking and I had the AC on.

Everything was great. We were by the elevators so it was a bit noisy. Room was clean. This is our second time staying there. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. We’ll be back.

This is my favorite hotel. Despite I wish they had sound proof rooms

Stay was great. Staff was nice enough I guess. Lightbulb in bathroom constantly blinked and fire alarm in room constantly flashed. I’m sensitive to lights when sleeping.

Arrived at night. Only one person at the desk. We were 2nd in line, followed by 3 or 4 others. Your representative was busy at the other end of the check-in area, totally oblivious that there were other customers trying to check in. Someone behind us made the comment "I think he's trying to get a date". We all agreed. The subject of his interest finally looked over and said "oh, am I holding everything up"? The hero in our line exclaimed LOUDLY, "YOU THINK"?????

I love the Westin. The customer service is always excellent. David was very nice, helpful and courteous. The room was very clean, smelled great and spacious. Will definitely be back.

We came back to this property because our first visit back in September was very pleasant. We unfortunately couldn't say the same about this visit. The receptionist was dismissive and made us wait without excusing herself or explaining what exactly it was we were waiting for after a 3 hour trip. We waited about 10 minutes, only to get an unfriendly check in. The room itself had technical issues that we shared with the manager in the morning, she was kind and promised to credit our account with points.

Beautiful property. Staff even better. The Head Bellman/Concierge, Ty, is super helpful and knowledgeable... offered the kind of service I would expect at only a very fine hotel!

“David” at the front desk remembered me by name and exceeded my expectations by anticipating my needs before I asked. “Ty” did the exact same thing by making certain I had a seamless and effortless checkout with my baggage. Ty was personable and pleasant. It was obvious that he enjoyed his position as his service was exceptional as well. So refreshing to see people with this level of professionalism in the hospitality field

David at check in was great. As was Jimmy who was helpful with my luggage.

I had worked on preparation for a surgical appointment traveling to Chicago. When I attempted to print it out within the 18th-floor Platinum Club, the computer would not work due to a failed keyboard. Celina Wladzinska, a Westin employee, was able to print the document I needed for an 8 am appointment the next day. This was a tremendous help!

The proximity to down town chicago is doable. The hotel is next to a mall and Target, which is incredibly convenient. There are 2 restaurants on site with a movie theater next door, so you don't have to go far for entertainer or a bite to eat. Then, there is another mall with lots of dining options not far down the road.

We liked this hotel, it was clean and the staff were professional. One downside is that it is pretty far from downtown Chicago, on average around 50-80 minutes during weekday, which made visiting downtown Chicago very tiring for us. Also, I wish their breakfast was included, given that they are super far from Chicago downtown!

Excellent location for what we wanted - easy access to interstate, visiting family, shopping, dining places etc. Would definitely stay again!

Great hotel in a great area , only 30 minutes from DT Chicago

This location is great. Lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. I forgot how nice Westin hotels are. This location in Lombard could easily be in downtown Chicago. The lobby is grand with 2 restaurants and lots of banquet rooms but not pretentious! I'm used to 2 elevator hotels lately, the Westin Lombard has 5! We had a King room on the 16th floor facing the city. The bed was nice and cushy and plenty of spreading out space to relax. Only room downfall was no microwave. 😕 When I checked in I had the option to bypass daily housekeeping which we took advantage of. That was a nice choice to have. I will be back to this Westin again at my next visit for sure.

Top-notch hotel in the Chicago suburbs. Comfortable, modern rooms. Spacious. Excellent food and service at the restaurant. We had a great steak dinner and the Maitre D is a man named Walter who has been there for 16 years, remembers everyone by first name, provides excellent service, and is obviously proud to work here. Makes this hotel feel way better than normal. Starbucks coffee in the room. Nice desk. Target next door easy walk if you need anything. This is my new go to hotel here.

I didn't like the breakfast option was for purchase only and not included. Everything else was fine.

Property seems “tired” and could use updating. Internet was spotty, in room dining hours limited and menu not extensive. Room was average with very mediocre bathroom. Definitely nowhere near the quality of other Westin hotels I have had the privilege of staying at, both domestically and overseas. Be sure to ask for a room away from the elevators unless you want to listen to the elevators operating throughout the night. Loud elevator sounds is an understatement, and likely part of the overall tiredness of the property.

Wonderful, pleasant staff; very clean, well maintained facility. Our only complaint was lack of any included breakfast buffet and the TV had technical difficulties but staff responded quickly to fix the problem. The room accommodations were excellent including the bed, bedding, shower/tub, temperature control, etc.
