Okay, so the fitness center is a small room, but that isn't surprising. There were 3 cardo machines (treadmill, recumbent bike, elliptical), but every one was out of order!!! The "weight machine" was a very cheap variant of a Universal with very poor mechanics and functionality, to the point that I passed on using it in favor of bodyweight exercises.

The key card worked the first time, then would not work. The maintenance man was new and no one had shown him how to open the room without the card. The black box was not programmed properly and had to be re-programmed. The batteries were dead in the lock and batteries needed to be found. Staff was helpful and apologetic but it took over an hour to get into the room. They switched me to another room however. Cooridors are dirty, elevator needs major attention.

The overnight staff was so funny, welcoming, and kind. He was the kind of man you wished was your grandpa. The heated pool and hot tub was so nice. The room was beautiful and the bed was so comfy and cozy. I'd never been in that nice of a hotel before. As an adult at least. The muffins for breakfast were so good and so was the coffee.

The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately that was all that was good about this hotel. The pool was extremely dirty, had green slime at bottom of pool and a film of grease that you could see floating on the top of the water. The hot tub jets were broken and the water was not "hot". Very disappointing. Attempted to watch TV and the connection would not work. No ice machine on the 3rd floor had to go to the first floor just for ice.

The room was not cleaned very well at all. Mainly the bathroom. I cleaned the vanity/sink, toilet, shower, toilet paper holder, and coffee maker myself before using them. The toilet paper roll was left with just a few pieces of toilet paper and the large mirror in the room was not cleaned. The walls are super thin and my husband could hear the person in the room next to us snoring. Beds were uncomfortable.

Although the hotel was convenient to the interstate and clean, the room was loud. The heater sounded like a jet taking off and the mini fridge sounded like a hotel clock alarm quietly going off every couple hours. It sounded so much like an alarm, I almost called to the front desk to report it until my wife pointed out it was the fridge.

The breakfast offering at 7:30 AM the 1st morning we stayed was excellent. The breakfast offering at 6:45 AM the next morning consisted of what was left over from the previous morning: 1 cooked egg pattie, 1/2 sliced bacon (all cold), unfilled roll rock, breakfast cereal rack, Etc. No attendant on duty. I am assuming the lack of an attendant was the problem.

Nice. Friendly. Convenient off I-80. Breakfast was very nice with different offerings every morning. Fresh and if you go on the early side. Then hot food is fresh. If you go late then eggs and meats tend to be dried out. Overall good variety of choices. They only clean your room every other day which was disappointing if coming back to a clean room is part of what you look forward to. It's very general cleaning though. Noticed that the tub had not been scrubbed out. Only the towels were replaced. The shampoo is in a big dispenser attached to wall so you won't get those travel sized toiletries which is something we look forward to getting. Staff was friendly and overall it is a good place to stay.

The temperature inside my room was 63 degrees, I had to turn up the temp to 78, it took hours to feel comfortable. I did not like the bedspread it did not keep me warm, The pillows was not poofy, very flat. I am on bloodthinners so I get cold easily. I had no idea how to fix the shower faucet in the bathroom, I tried to fix the faucet so I could take a shower was unsuccessful so instead took a sponge bath kneeling in the tub. The toilet was not flushing very well. I did report to management about me not being able to use the shower and the toilet not flushing very well. The so called complimentary breakfast sucked, no bacon or sausage, only 1 flavor of yogurt, no fresh fruit, a plain doughnut, not frosted, very dull. If I would have known that the breakfast was this horrible I would have gone to a restaurant for a decent breakfast. I should have stayed at a Super 8 or another motel at least I would have been warmer and able to take a shower and have a better breakfast.
