Great staff and service. Great gym and pool. The building is a little bit dated. The AC/heat in the room is a bit noisy and temperature regulation is not superb, but overall it was comfortable. Great breakfast buffet - highly recommend this. Location is very convenient.

Hard to rate this hotel, it’s a mixed bag. It’s clean, in a great location. The bed was super comfortable, our room was huge. There was also a full Starbucks right next to it so, coffee in the morning was easy. We also loved the pool, hot tub, & sauna. Room service was also good. The drinks at the bar were great too. I think it was maybe a little understaffed and some things are a bit dated. The elevators are awful, they’re tiny and you wait forever for them. The parking garage is small (underground) & the clearance is really low. The checkout process was a bit weird. We ended up having trouble getting out of the parking garage because we left the keys in the room

The rooms were clean and the bathrooms were spotless. The surroundings are very quiet and a great place to relax. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and although I made a mistake and did not have the shuttle to the airport booked correctly, one of the staff quickly arranged it for me and I was able to get to the airport with plenty of time to spare. Thank you very much.

Our room was adequate, but could use some updating. Pros: Large room Quiet Clean, comfortable king sized bed Cons: Musky odor Stains on furniture and curtain Slow draining shower It seems this hotel has two classes of rooms, and the superior rooms on top three floors are part of the “Governor’s Club.” They receive access to the Governor’s Club and other benefits. We were staying in one of the standard rooms and I can’t help but wonder if these more basic rooms don’t get the hotel’s full attention. Additionally, there was no mention of our Silver rewards benefit upon check in, and we did not receive the complimentary drink or whatever it was suppose to be.

A good place to stay for my one-night overnight in Madison. The staff is super helpful. I was very impressed to learn that when I arrived at the airport too late to catch the hotel’s shuttle, they paid for my cab ride (the hotel apparently has an agreement with certain of the cab companies for this). Everything was 5-star except that my room was kind of weird. It had no windows, only a sliding glass door that opened right onto the indoor pool area. Meaning that the room was very dark unless I wanted to open up the drapes and have the people in the pool area look in. Other than that, the room was big and clean.

The view of the Capitol building from our room was fantastic. Staff were so accommodating. When we were upgraded to a Capitol view and got to our room, it was on the opposite side of the building. I called the front desk and by the time we got down the the lobby, Bishop had new keys waiting for me. Also, the walk two blocks down to the Overture Center was so convenient and gorgeous.

Good bed and spacious room. The corner room was quiet and comfortable. Would suggest a few choices for pillows as everyone's needs are different. Convenient location to Overture Center, restaurants and shopping on state street. Staff polite and curtious.

Prior to the trip, I called and was told the airport shuttle would be available every 30 minutes. Upon arrival, when I called for a shuttle, the wait would have been over an hour, so I paid for an Uber. On return, they arranged a lift which I was very grateful for. The air/heat ran constantly, even though it was set to auto. I had to move a chair in front of the unit to block the air when working at the desk.

The staff was extremely friendly. I was attending a concert that evening so the hotel was very busy. When I arrived the check in line was probably 20 people long. I thought it would take forever. But they had 4 people checking people in and it was very efficient and only took maybe 15 minutes. Also, they shuttle service to and from the venue which was wonderful.

The in house restaurant and bar were poorly managed. When we arrived at the restaurant for breakfast there was no one around. I stepped in ten feet and called hello getting no response. A man who had the appearance of a manager scurried across the lobby and went to find someone. Service was slow even though initially the two of us were the only diners. The following day we tried breakfast again, they were busy and service was very slow once again. Our wait staff dropped off waters for us and said she would be right back , at least ten minutes later she showed up again. In the end the service was so slow our daughter had to leave for another commitment even though our food had not arrived. Our wait staff told us she could do nothing for us but the manager would be coming in later. The manager ended up comping our daughter’s food and reduced the remainder of the bill twenty five percent. Apparent they do not have enough staff and those they do have seem to be inefficient. We had a similar experience in the bar one evening with the slowness of the service.

The bartender in the Governor’s Club was obnoxious and ruined our evening. He spoke too loudly, never was quiet, didn’t greet us in a friendly manner, acted like we were bothering him and was just interested in the couple at the bar he was preaching to. The servers in the evening and at breakfast were amazing!! So nice and did a great job.

Great location near capitol and walking distance to campus, great restaurants and framers market. Had nice Starbucks, affordable buffet breakfast and we enjoyed the gym, pool and sauna with no crowds. Had a lot of lines at desk and some of the desk communication regarding shuttles and towels for the room could have been better. Everyone was very friendly and was clean. Would stay again!

We love staying here when coming for the events at the Overture Center…it’s so close!! Great location!! The grass-fed burgers at Circ are very good and the wait-staff is always friendly and attentive. We’ve also enjoyed breakfast on-site at the restaurant as well. Beds are very comfortable and room is updated and clean. We really have enjoyed everything this hotel has to offer and the staff has been wonderful as well! We will continue to keep coming back!
