We really loved this hotel. The main entrance had a very upscale, boutique, spa vibe. Gorgeous fireplace and luxurious deep purple velvet sofas, pretty flowers at the entrance, music playing outside. The girl at the front desk was so nice (wish I can remember her name) We loved the purple lights at night time above the outdoor furniture that overlooks the lake. Had a very upscale feeling. The entire place was super clean. The room was great, the bedding soft and comfy, loved the purple vibes and the attention to detail in the way our towels were folded. Personal use hand sanitizer, make up remover wipes and stain remover for clothes in the bathroom which we really appreciated. Luxury soap shampoo and hand wash! We loved there was a washer and dryer available for us to use, definitely came in handy. Many amenities we didn’t make use of because we ran out of time here. Each staff member (also wish I knew their names) were SO nice, friendly, greeted us with conversation and were so kind, genuine and helpful. Even the employees who were just doing laundry, cleaning, or passing us in the halls. Everyone so cheerful. Breakfast was AMAZING, a library of carefully selected warm, delicious pastries, fresh berries, great coffee. Beautiful dining area with a bar. Really wish I had stayed another night just to enjoy the hotel. 10/10

At nearly $300 per night, I expected much more than what this hotel delivered. While I understand pricing may have been driven by the time of year and high demand, the overall experience felt more in line with a 3-star property. The biggest disappointment was that our room was never cleaned during our 4-night stay, despite multiple requests through the in-room tablet and placing the housekeeping sign on our door. We also had to request extra towels because our reservation was for four guests, yet only two bath towels were provided. Finding a stray key card under the rug between the beds raised concerns about the thoroughness of room cleaning. The outdoor grounds also left a poor first impression, with dead and dried-out plants throughout the property. The fitness center was adequate but small for a hotel of this size. The pool was decent, and the ability to swim at any time was a nice benefit. The highlight of our stay was breakfast. The selection was excellent, well beyond a typical continental breakfast, and the waffles were a favorite with the kids. I also want to recognize the gentleman overseeing breakfast each morning. He was attentive, professional, and kept everything fully stocked. The coffee was surprisingly weak, but that was a minor issue compared to the lack of housekeeping service. Overall, for the price we paid, the value simply wasn't there. While breakfast and the pool were positives, I would choose a different hotel for a future visit.
