Quality Inn Texarkana Arkansas

What guests think

Across recent reviews, guests describe Texarkana Inn undergoing extensive renovations, with dust, debris, and unfinished areas in hallways and common spaces, while frequent cleanliness and maintenance problems in rooms and bathrooms, plus a very limited breakfast, leave many travelers disappointed.

Many note the elevator being out and the pool closed or dirty, with construction materials visible and occasional broken security or ice machines. Service feedback is mixed, with several praising friendly check-in but others reporting long waits or rude interactions. Rooms feel dated with weak water pressure, broken fixtures, unreliable amenities, and some highway noise, though a few guests found the beds comfortable. Expect a budget stay disrupted by renovations and basic services.

I didn’t end staying when I got there the hotel was very uninviting. People sitting around outside smoking. When I arrived they informed me that the elevator was out of order and this ice machine was not working. They did allow me to cancel reservation. So I just left.

The hotel is being remodeled. It should not be open for rentals. Construction debris and supplies all over. Air quality abysmal. Sheetrock dust on all surfaces in the room. Had to call the hotel’s phone to get someone to come to the front desk. Outlets and lights on the bedside of the room did not work. No redeeming factors.

Looked to be under construction—carpets in hall ways were filthy, room was ok, fridge in room dirty, staff were friendly. Holiday weekend and pool was not open.

Stopped for the night on a long road trip. Immediately upon walking in the lobby reeked of smoke (cigarette and otherwise). The hallways leading to the rooms reeked all the more. The back “security doors” were broken. The pool looked oily. The floors in the room were not properly cleaned (found used cue tips on the floor). There were broken outlets by the window.

Hotel is undergoing significant renovations and there is debris everywhere from old microwaves in the hall to building supplies in the lobby. The parts of the room that have been refurbished have been done relatively poorly (no pressure in sink), loose fitting fixtures, etc

Bathtub had mold growing all over it and the surrounding walls, water damage throughout bathroom. Toilet seat missing hardware so it moved all over the place. Complementary breakfast was 6 small muffins and coffee, that was it, nothing else. I get it, its a super 8, its cheap. But jfc i would of had a better stay if id slept in my truck in the parking lot.

Check in staff was nice and the bed was comfortable. That is the only thing nice I can say about the place. It smells rank, the door lock was falling off, the carpet was dank and filthy. The walls were crumbling and bare in spots, the shower and tub were nasty. Trash in halls and parking lot. Wouldn’t stay again until they remodeled.

I understand that they were going thru a renovation. However, the first room they gave us had bleach stained bed covers and the tub had cracks. You could see where they tried to fix things with a lot of caulking. The second room had hair all in the shower. The third room was ok, but smelled. They refused to refund us since we booked through Expedia.

Would not recommend this place. The room was really dated, the sheets looked like they hadn’t been wash - very stained. There were 3 or 4 lamps but only bulbs in 1. When mentioned to front desk we were told with the light at the door and one lamp it should be enough. Chair had huge cut in material on side. Definitely on my list to not stay here again.

Perhaps the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I’m not sure if they’re in the middle of renovations or had water damage, but everything was dirty, in the building and in our room. Debris was scattered in the entryway. Our sheets had a cigarette burn and a large mystery stain. Breakfast was just a cereal machine and some muffins. Honestly not sure if this even still counted as a hotel, but it was technically a place to sleep, I guess? Also, the microwave would start running when you opened it, which I think is actually just a safety hazard.
