I really liked my room. Compact space but didn't feel small. Beautifully decorated/designed. Had a king-size bed, 2 end tables, Keurig, small fridge, small chair for a desk space for a laptop, and huge TV that didn't feel overpowering for the space. Also, there was an open closet and large mirror. I particularly liked the iphone charging ledge. Bathroom was spacious. Had any of the furniture pieces been larger or ill-fitting, the room would have felt very small, but everything fit well together and created an upscale vibe. Breakfast is additional cost, buffet being $22 and other menu options. Valet parking is additional cost, too ($55 overnight+$10tax=$65, 1-day). Location is great, walking distance to Georgetown and the Key Bridge Boathouse. I was there for a meetup group event to watch the July 4th fireworks on kayaks (for 2025, roughly $135 for 3 hour kayak.rental). And I knew that I would be tired, wet and smelling like river water lol afterwards and I didn't want to contend with the Metro (which is free on July 4th) and the press of people. So, I opted for a 1-night stay, which costed $250+44tax=$294 for the room, which is reasonable for the area. Parking is a huge issue during July 4 and traffic is awful. Gotta tell you, the hot shower after a 3-hour kayak event is priceless.

- There was no luggage holders in the room, this should be a 101 in any hotel room. - There was an unimpressive "buffet" option for breakfast, something a 2-3 star tier hotel would offer. - For this reason, I opted for an omelet off the menu. It arrived cold, and then made my extremely ill. Poor ingredients & preparation. - $65 parking per night for parking is luxury pricing, however the hotel doesn't give you a luxury experience.

This is a new Bonvoy Marriott in a perfect location! The hotel is beautiful, so clean, and comfortable. The staff is wonderful. They have a great happy hour. Bartenders are so sweet and make wonderful drinks. The entire staff is lovely. Right in the center of Georgetown walking distance to everything. They offer valet parking, which is a little pricey, but I guess the going rate. The valet staff is very efficient and kind would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.

Difficult to turn the shower on and off. Complained about it but I don't think they understand how difficult this is for some ( esp those challenged with arthritis or difficulty with their mobility) Also, could not get hot water to come out of the shower, so we took cold showers. Not horrible, but I paid top $$ for the room, so it could have been a lot better.
