Property is the Best Western that has been there for years but now redesigned in the lobby. When we checked in we were told our room on the third floor was suffering from a broken elevator. When we asked to change due to my wife’s bad knees they said nothing was available despite half empty parking lot. Then, after a one night stay, she found two serious bug bites on the same arm. Also, when we were leaving the next morning I noticed the heavy housekeeping cart on the supposedly stairs access only third floor. Why don’t you just apologize and send your guests through the service elevator especially when they have medical issues?!?

Staff was helpful, but the Internet was down my whole stay so it got in the way of getting some work done, when WiFi is part of the resort fee, you expected it to work, the rooms were nice and clean. The balconies need to be maintained very old and unkept. The noise from the building being under construction next-door was terrible on a Saturday , They were doing construction at 8 AM. Very loud.

Hotels.com photos misrepresent the water color and all other amenities. A skyscraper is being built ~25 feet from our room. The 1970s building has rusting nails leaking through vinyl. The gym was hot with a broken water machine; the restaurant appeared abandoned despite claims of being open. The elevator was broken, and a five-hour wait for luggage delivery to the fifth floor; one ice machine served five floors. Descending required 12 floors (six to the pool, six back), doubling to 24 if forgetting items. The music speakers at the pool were broken and nonfunctional. No shade and no umbrellas at the pool. At checkout, we had to call for luggage help because room phones failed. The room had bare bulbs, no shaded lamp, and a balcony with old flooring; loud, hot AC exhaust occupied a third of the space. The bathroom shower handle was unreliable; spin the handle and it might work on one of your swings.. The handle to the commode was on backwards. The bed was saggy and old. The room wasn't made up by the one maid for the building. The safe was an old key lock and wasn't available for use. That awful mop dirt at the base boards was everywhere. The only three good things were the large LG TV and the air conditioning was very cool; the pool was realtively well maintained. Otherwise this property is waiting to be bought by a large condo complex.

This is the best kept secret in Miami as far has places to stay go. It was fantastic from top to bottom! From the cute pool with a view of the ocean to the clean beach getaway smell you get the moment you walk into the room. I enjoyed every minute of my stay here and next time I come to Miami this is the only place I want to stay.
