This hotel is not bad if you need something quick. However, the hotel is DATED/OLD. The elevator is questionable…I often took the steps and it was kind of dingy & dusty. The room had a stench of cigarettes and the bathroom looks old, but the room itself was pretty clean. I personally would not stay here again as I’d rather pay a little more for somewhere more up to date, but it’s not that bad. Just old/dated, and kind of smells like cigarettes. Clean rooms though ! And the staff was nice.

ERIKA was helpful & accomodating! I dealt with her most times. Im from Canada & asked her many questions which she tried to answer for me. Room was clean. Love the freshness of the bedsheets! Everything in my room was clean! Felt safe. Close to my brothers' house. Close to church. The elevator got stuck 1 day, but no worry, I was just on the 2nd floor. Free breakfast buffet vame with my room, but since I was always rushing, I did not even have the chance to have breakfast on the 2 days I had free breakfast! So I cannot comment on that. Will stay again when visiting my brother! Reasonably priced.

There sign at the road did not work, hard to find. Room was not clean and no wake up call was available. They failed to advise me that no house keeping was available without a request since covid and relied on a small sticker on the room key sleeve rather than advising me. Just an old motel. Would never return.

The staff was so friendly, from front desk to cleaning staff. Check in and out was super easy. Breakfast was delicious and the cook was friendly and helpful. Bacon would've been nice. Was so glad that the tv's weren't playing Fox or CNN. The room was clean and well-stacked with towels , soap, tissues, shampoo and conditioner. Nice access to vending and ice machines. I enjoyed the fitness center, although the treadmill shutt off twice during my workout. Will definitely book here again on our next trip to Madison Heights.

As soon as we walked into the lobby, there was a musty smell, and our room had a musty smell as well, along with water stains on the ceiling. I noticed they had plug-ins up and down the halls to try to mask the smell, but they weren’t very successful. Everything else seemed pretty clean, but the motel could use some upgrading I think.

I stayed here for two weeks, ultimately for the price and for what it was I was satisfied. It’s actually a decent hotel, I think some people’s expectations are too high. These are rooms that are used over and over by different people. Aesthetically it was fine, I did see one baby roach which I didn’t make a big deal I killed it and wiped things down. I didnt see any bugs in common areas either. This is a 3 star hotel a best and that’s perfectly fine for the deals you can get. I will say the night clerk is a little rude and standoffish. As a guest coming and asking for fresh towels shouldn’t feel like I’m in the wrong. Another downside is no microwaves in the rooms. It’s a hassle trying to warm up food and having to wait for a group of people to all warm up their food.

Overall, it did the job. Much like the other reviews, it's a dated hotel. They do keep it clean but definitely in need of renovation. The bed was not comfy at all, my back was screaming at me the next day. The first day there was a strong smell of weed in the elevator was prevalent on the first day of our stay and in the hallway. The next day it wasn't as bad. You also had a welcoming committee hanging out front most of the time. At one moment we exited to go visit detroit, there was a lady in a mini bathrobe, had she bent over, we would have seen everything. Not used to seeing people hanging out front like that especially as hot as it was outside.

To start the hostess at check in never greeted me, nor did she seem to care that she left me waiting for her to slowly make her way from the back when I came in. A simple “hi how can I help you” goes a long way in customer service. Next the hotel smelled really bad in the hallways/stairs and elevator. It smelled like cigarettes (yet I had to sign a contract agreeing to not smoke) and dirty feet. The room was clean enough but only had one towel for two guests and they made us bring the dirty towel down before they would give us anymore. There were obvious burn marks on the decor in the room, the smoke detectors looked corroded and the fire door at the stairwell doesn’t shut. All in all we got what we paid for and we definitely won’t be returning to this location.

I checked into the Quality Inn on May 10, 2025, and was told there would be a $50 hold on my credit card. After a day and a half, my room key was deactivated due to alleged non-payment of the deposit, preventing me from accessing my room. I am very disappointed with the customer service. The error was on Quality Inn's part, not mine, and it caused significant inconvenience. I will not return to this location. I request that you train the front desk staff member on duty around 11 PM on May 11, 2025, and I will be sharing my experience on review platforms to inform potential customers.

Hotel looked nothing like online pictures. Location was hard to get to. Very small parking lot has to walk a long way to entrance. African American man checked us in was amazing and friendly. Staff the next morning was awful. Couldn’t speak English well and was rude. Lady at the counter was rude and unknowledgeable. They offer breakfast online but offered only waffles when we were there and said corporate said they can only put our sausages as a bonus but a small amount. They ran out by 7:30 breakfast ended at 9:30. Had cereal with no milk. Didn’t have any yogurt or granola or anything. It was an awful awful awful stay! I will be contacting corporate. Then , got woke up by housekeeping at 10am, 10:15, 10:30.. continuously bothering us to check out and checkout wasn’t until 11am!!! Horrible place to stay. Woke up with bites on both arms so I’m assuming they have bed bugs! Sink was stopped up as well!

We were very pleased with everything at this hotel except the breakfast. Unsurprisingly, the breakfast was meager, but what really sunk it was the absolutely repulsive coffee. I am not a coffee snob --- McDonald\'s coffee is fine with me --- but this Quality Inn uses a coffee dispenser that injects "coffee concentrate" into hot water. The disgusting liquid has a chemical taste and little resemblance to actual coffee. We resorted to the mini coffee maker in our room, which produced a reasonable product. Any hotel breakfast should have, at least, palatable coffee.
