Across reviews of Courtyard Danville, travelers frequently praise friendly front-desk staff, overall cleanliness, and a convenient location near restaurants, shopping, and the casino, while noting a few maintenance problems and occasional noise in certain rooms.

Many liked the on-site Bistro and bar, though breakfast hours, staffing, and item availability drew multiple complaints, and there’s no complimentary breakfast or coffee. First the positive. The staff and front desk were friendly. However I cannot recommend this hotel as it is under construction/renovation. The entire 3rd floor is getting a redo. The staff stated construction was from 9am to 5pm. But they actually started at 8am. We were on the 2nd floor. Very loud during construction. Hotels.com had no mention of the construction and the room wasn’t exactly cheap either. There were other places I had considered, and I would say if you are going to this area then skip on this hotel. I think that I am more disappointed in Hotels.com than this establishment to be honest.

This property needs to be remodeled, it is not up to marriot standards. The room smelled old the towels smelled like they been hanging in the bathroom for 10 years. The walls/floors were thin you could hear the person above you walking so hard all night. Dogs barking…. Just not up to marriot standards.

When I arrived I was told that the card on file with Expedia had expired and I had to pay for the room again. I have my receipt from Expedia for $195 and the receipt from Marriott for $180 $20 for incidentals. Now if I have my receipt from PayPal and the bank shows the charge why did I have to pay twice? Unexpected expense ruining the entire experience.

Saturday night 7/13/24 around 11pm, we heard stomping and running around on the floor/room above us. I called to the front desk, to voice my complaint. She said she would call & handle it. 30 to 40 minutes later, the noise is still going on. I called back to the front desk, the woman at the front desk stated that she called the room, but no one answered. I asked could she go to their room & ask them to calm down or should I call the police. @ 1 am the noise is still going on, so I called their corporate # to escalate my complaint.

The front desk os untrained on proper checking you in. You get charged more then once. No one follows through with what they say they are going to do this includes management. The manger doesn't care about the customers. Management want return calls just puts you off and makes up excuses. The management will hang up on you when you confront them about why they didn't the right thing. I guess that is how they treat the truth and facts. Now Marriott has lost a long time customer.

Everything was fine, except that for the desk clerk. I had to call the front desk twice, before calling corporate. I reported around 11pm, on 1of 2 nights of my stay. To report stumping & running, the I called back around 12:45/1am to report again. For the front desk said she tried calling but no one answered.

Great stay. Front desk and other staff were very friendly and helpful. My only issue was on my last day - Sunday. Was looking forward to getting my wife breakfast from the Bistro. Got there at around 940 a.m. Waited literally for 10 to 15 minutes for the girl to finally come from the kitchen to the register. When she finally got to the register at 955 a.m. She said “we stop serving food at 10 and I just made my last food order. I hadn’t seen another customer the whole time I was there.
