Many guests find the home clean and stocked with books, games, and supplies, though a few report worn carpets, overgrown yard with spider webs, and occasional deep-clean or maintenance needs. The deck is a highlight, and two bathrooms are appreciated, but one clawfoot-tub shower and a scarcity of outlets or storage space draw criticism. Expect a cozy, older cottage suited to relaxed, pet-friendly beach stays.

Fenced yard and a pleasant deck/porch are frequently praised, and having two bathrooms is convenient. Some note issues with the clawfoot-tub shower, an occasionally faulty gate, and overgrown outdoor areas.

The feel of an old beach home full of interesting art, books and fenced yard. High steps to deck though would make this a difficult entrance for those with any disability.

Wonderful little cottage and yard. Great location. Four of us on fun sewing/quilting retreat. Great quality bedding, towels, amenities. Well stocked kitchen, top grade appliances. Could use a little TLC. Very dirty ceiling vent in living room, probably needs new filter in otherwise well functioning heating system. One bedroom door nearly off hinges!! Definitely needs fixing!! Otherwise it was fine. We’d stay there again (if heating system/ducts serviced).

Pros:-Two block from beach-Nice fenced yard for dogs and nice deck/porch areaCons:-Lack of electrical outlets and wall switches. The chain above bed for a light is not really ok for little kids IMO.-Photos don't show what both baths look like. The shower doesn't really work in the bath with clawfoot tub, although we both enjoyed the tub. The drain also doesn't plug/stop in the sink in that bathroom.-Lots of decor in house doesn't leave much storage for personal items traveler may have.

It was a great stay for our family of five (including a pup) - clean, cozy, and comfortable. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood not from from all the activities, and a short walk to the beach. 2-car parking, fully fenced yard. Kitchen was wel-equipped, comfortable furniture, lots of books, games, and movies for staying in. Overall a great stay, would definitely come back!

We loved our stay. The fully enclosed yard really was an oasis for hanging out outside. The bathrooms and kitchen were sparkling clean. We found everything we needed to cook during our stay. It was an easy walk to the beach and boardwalk. Thanks for the great stay!

What a happy "homecoming" !!! When we walked in and took a little tour through the house, all 5 of us said \'oh my gosh, this is the cutest place ever! Loved the country/seaside look and all the decorative touches!" Also, those bed linens were VERY NICE! Everything was so clean, so nice to have two baths with two showers, all the amenities anyone could ask for! Yes, we would come again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely little home in Seaside. The house was spotlessly clean, the bathrooms well-supplied, and the beds were wonderfully comfortable. The one (small!) disappointment was that the pictures on the website implied that the house was right next to the ocean access. This was incorrect - the walkway to the water was several blocks away. Again, not a horrible thing, just a bit of a surprise. The yard area was nicely fenced, which made it workable to have our two dogs with us. All in all, it was a very positive experience, and we would gladly repeat our visit.

The place is kinda run down compared to what it looks like in the pictures. The yard was overgrown, with branches covering the walkway and dead leaves strewn over the whole deck. Spiders were a huge problem. We walked right into a giant web as soon as we entered - got cobweb in our hair and faces, it was gross. Half the cutlery in the drawers was dirty and we had to rewash it. So were some of the plates on the shelves. The living room rug is kinda shabby and hurt my feet to walk barefoot on. I still give this place three stars because it has all the amenities. The hosts probably get to charge so much because of Seaside being a popular summer destination, but going at the end of summer we could have gotten better for the price.

Cute little old beach cottage with 1950s charm. The house was perfect for a stay in Seaside close to everything, you can her the waves. There were two comfortable queen size beds and cozy little living room. The bathroom at the back of the house is newer and had great shower. The cons: The yard is way too overgrown and difficult to enjoy- spider webs and leaf litter made it difficult as a dog owner to scope out potential harmful plants or other dog droppings. The carpet inside needs a good cleaning. And this is small, but there was no coffee grounds provided with the stay so had to make a store run to get some before morning. Overall would stay here again because of the great location and dog friendly policy.

Didn’t realize the biggest volleyball beach tourney was this weekend so made sense why the prices were high and stay options were limited. This was a good option that accommodated our dog with the fenced yard but was very dated and not the cleanest. This isn’t a critique on the housekeeping, they can only do so much with what they are working with. There is a sign that requests you take your shoes off but the carpet and floors really couldn’t support that, needs an update or extreme deep clean asap. Also, seeing the used toilet plunger and gross toilet brush immediately walking in was very off putting. Also, no signage about what they offer, where anything is, expectations, etc. nothing is labeled and had to hunt for basic things like detergent and hand towels. We picked up our dog poo and also what was left from other guests… Great location but would not stay here again.

The location is wonderful but the house desperately needs new carpets and a deep cleaning. For this situation it’s all about pros and cons. The pros We were block and a half from the beach it’s isolated from the other houses it has tons of vegetation on the property. Cons I would never walk barefoot in that house!! There’s a sign where they request not wearing shoes which is something I would never do in there! There was construction up there street which made it noisy in the morning Honestly, I like the location but will definitely find another place to stay if we were to go back

Cozy, older cottage with beachy charm and a functional layout; many praise very comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen. Some find the beds too soft and note limited outlets or storage due to abundant decor.

This home suited our needs almost perfectly. Took one star off because the shower in the bathtub leaks so we had to share the other shower. Nice quiet area (lots of foot traffic makes our dogs bark). The beds were also too soft for me. Next time I'll try the futon. Yard was great .

This place is super cozy. It’s on the older lived in side but that’s what makes it so great. Love that they are dog friendly and just a short walk to the beach. The most well stocked home we have ever rented. If ever in this area again we would rent this place!

My husband and I were celebrating our 10 year anniversary, and wanted to do so with our 1 year old daughter and our dog. We hadn’t had a trip as a family since our daughter was born, so this was a big deal for us! The coast holds so many special memories for us already that it was the perfect place. And we couldn’t have been more happy with this property! The layout was small but perfectly cozy, and allowed our toddler to safely wander around without getting into anything out of sight. The fenced yard allowed our dog to be able to go outside as needed without us having to worry about his safety. We were able to walk to the beach in less than 5 minutes, and the Main Street promenade was just a few blocks away as well. We had a perfect trip and cannot wait to come back one day:)

Until our last day of the trip I would have given this place 5 stars. It was comfortable, a short walk to the beach, and really had everything we could need (a booster chair, toys, huge movie collection); however, the day before checkout we found rat feces in the back of a cabinet and the next morning we found it all over our food on the counter, as well as the food having been eaten. We had to throw out over $100 of food and Thanksgiving hostess gifts. To know that our 1 year old was playing on that floor and that we were all eating in that kitchen for 4 days before this really turned our stomachs. Now instead of remembering a great vacation we'll only remember the hurried feeling of packing and leaving as quickly as possible. I also emailed Vacasa about this and asked for compensation on the groceries, but it's been over a week without a response so I felt it necessary to warn others before going here in the near future.

House was absolutely perfect for our party of five and three dogs. Excellent location and availability of services. My only complaint is that the Internet went out which angered our child immensely. One of the reasons we chose this house was because of the Internet service and the first night we were there it went out, with no one to call to get it fixed. Other than that, the place was perfect for our needs.

What a great location this was! We were in town for our basketball tournament and like to travel with our two dogs. The house and decide made it cozy and comfortable and it was great to have a fenced in area for the dogs. Close walk to the beach and the shops, close to the outlet stores as well. Would like a little later checkout time at 11am or 12pm, but great stay and would book again.

Repeatedly praised for a short walk to the beach, boardwalk/Broadway, and shops, and for a quiet neighborhood setting. A few note the ocean access is several blocks away rather than directly adjacent.

More than we expected. So comfortable our two lil DOXIS had a fun time as well exploring in the fenced yard. The walk to the beach was not as close as we had hoped but it didn’t detour us from walking to the beautiful ocean! Also walked to Seaside for nosin about. We plan on more stays and enjoying this adorable house and we thank you for the homey atmosphere.

We walked to the beach each day! Perfect location to be close to the boardwalk and quick walk to all the restaurants, shops and fun.

Two beds in the house. One was super soft and we couldn’t sleep in it at all. It needs a deep cleaning at some point but an overall great experience

This home suited our needs almost perfectly. Took one star off because the shower in the bathtub leaks so we had to share the other shower. Nice quiet area (lots of foot traffic makes our dogs bark). The beds were also too soft for me. Next time I'll try the futon. Yard was great .
