Pool has been closed for over a month. According to the hotel we just left we had to go back and get a pillow we left. Told him we were staying here and that they didn't inform us that the pool was out. They said it has been out for months and they advertise as a hotel with a pool and hot tub. Also they only have satellite TV which is covered with snow. We had four channels because they didn't want to clean it. When my daughter got visibly upset about not having a pool the lady said well you could cancel your stay. You won't find another room anywheres else though Was very rude and same thing with the TV. Said it satellite TV and there's snow on the dish. It might start working. It might not. It is what it is. When I looked for this hotel I searched for a hotel with a swimming pool. I kind of think that's on Expedia also. I would hope that Expedia might check in on this and change when you search for a hotel with a pool and not include one that's been shut down for months and is not planning on being reopened because it's out of date and their heater is broke and they do not plan on fixing it

When I got there to check in they were questioning whether or not the toilet had been fixed in that particular room and they were unsure but still rented us the room anyway....Woke up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and the floor was soaked because the toilet seal had been leaking... The next day I complained and they moved us a few doors down...Both night had people above us banging and slamming the floors at like 4am... Next time in in Augusta I don't think Me of my family will be staying there... Also website shows a hot tub in the pool room there was no hot tub to be found....

Can’t believe they did not have laundry area to do laundry. This is an essential for longer stays. Heated pool was very cold and key cards needed to be replaced daily because they did not work. Some staff very welcoming and personable others not. Shout out to breakfast crew and front desk receptionist Paris who did a great job

This property, we chose because it said it had a heated pool and a hot tub. The pool was colder than the Maine ocean, and there was no hot tub. We are very sorry we chose this hotel.

The hotel is in need of updating old carpets and musty rooms. The breakfast there is not worth the time it takes to walk to it. The coffee is not really coffee. At least serve coffee that has some resemblance of coffee.

May have had more local options on an ordinary day, but everything shut down for the holiday. Not very clean. No mattress covers just a fitted sheet on mattresses. Several things broken in room. Smells coming from cooking in other rooms on the first floor. Small ants in room on first floor. We moved to 3 rd floor and didn’t see any more bugs.

The first room we had we couldn’t get keys to work properly and the phone didn’t work. They switched rooms for us and gave us a suite……..very disappointing…….not clean and in poor condition. It looked like red dye on the carpet. There was hair on the couch in the sitting area. The bathroom faucet handle and the door handle both felt sticky. It had an adjoining room that the door was protruding out from the top about an inch…..like it was twisted and the top didn’t close. The screen on the tv was all dirty…..streaked like someone wiped it with a dirty cloth. This was rectified as they allowed us to cancel the second night that we had prepaid. We didn’t want to stay the second night. The staff that we talked to were very professional and wanted to make things right.

The facility is in a convenient area and is quiet. However, this property is badly in need of an upgrade. The bathroom for our room was tiny, one of the two recessed ceiling lights didn't work, the ceiling exhaust fan didn't work either. The beds were substandard and not comfortable, one was lumpy while the other one sagged. The breakfast room was very small and not adequate for more than 20 people at a time. This property opened decades ago when breakfast didn't usually come with a room. The carpeting is old, the room decor is old, the room is poorly lit. The staff is doing their best with very little to work with. Luckily for this hotel, they have the most convenient and sought after location in the city. The property itself however is overpriced for the product they're offering.

Didn't like that our TV indicated that we were without TV connection until we shut off TV and started over again. This happened quite a few times. We told the front desk and they said we could MOVE into another room! Not convenient for us and we might still have the problem with another TV.

I was happy with my 5 night stay. I feel it was a good value for the price. It was convenient for my reason to be in the area. The breakfast was good enough for low cost travel; there were several hot options and numerous other food choices. One unsatisfactory item: the front desk was unattended for at least 20 minutes one evening when assistance was needed. A sign was posted to acknowledge that no one was there, but there was no information on how to contact someone for assistance.

Absolutely furious to get there and find out at check-in that we couldn’t because we lived within 60 miles of the hotel. Staycations are a special treat we do as family time. There was no reason offered otherwise and no explanation. It was a very rude experience. I will never use Comfort Inn again. Thankfully Hilton was able to get us a room at the Hampton Inn.

The staff upon check in was fantastic. They were courteous, polite, and friendly. The room was clean and as expected. The best part was the AMAZING water pressure and hot water. The continental breakfast was okay. I would have really liked plain water available not just juice and coffee but thw cinnamon waffles were a really cool treat.

A shout out to the staff At Comfort Inn In Augusta Maine . I stayed there a week ago Friday and left a brand new pair of RX glasses. They were kind enough to package them up so they did not get damaged and shipped them to me, Thank You very much for your hospitality and service returning my glasses.

I was there for cousin who has cancer. I got called in to work therefore cousin wasn't allowed in room. Manager on phone was disrespectful, rude,short, wouldn't listen. Worst experience in hotel . Will never give comfort inn a cent

Location is convenient Cons: The photos online didn’t really match, we found out when we arrived that the hotel is undergoing renovations. I assume the photos are not recent, as the property and the room we stayed is much more dated in person. I looked on the website and the Expedia listing and from what I saw neither included that the hotel no longer has a hot tub but the photos of the pool area have a hot tub, which I was looking forward to, but not a big deal just something to be mindful of. Overall our stay was good for a last minute booking over a holiday weekend. Not sure if we’d stay again, but it wasn’t awful and in a pinch I would recommend.
