The house was perfect for our group and the location is incredible! Highlights for us were: the deck, the well-equipped kitchen, the house layout with bedrooms nicely spaced for privacy, the Beatles paraphernalia, and especially the location. The views are gorgeous and it's just a very short walk to the ocean lookout, where we watched every sunset and also did some star-gazing. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Great place for our family of 5 adults and two toddlers! Large first floor bedroom with en-suite bathroom was ideal for the little family with its crib room and spacious area and lots of windows. Upstairs bedrooms allowed for privacy and comfortable beds. Kitchen and bathrooms are all updated and exceptionally clean. The very large open main floor had spectacular views and many seating areas for smaller conversations yet large enough for all to gather. We had one dinner party for 12 and the home accommodated our guests well the two decks are amazing: lots of space to take in the gorgeous Mountain View. The location near Muir Beach Lookout was an added delight-a two minute walk to see the ocean from the highest point around The toys for the kids were a highlight for us! These two little ones were fully engaged and entertained allowing their parents much peace. About a 30 minute trip into Mill Valley if you are not used to driving on curving but beautiful mountain roads. We had five great nights here

We stayed here with 7 adults and that was the perfect number of adults. Could have more if others were children, but I would say that is max as far as adults. Home was clean and beds were comfy. Well equipped kitchen and beautiful deck. It felt luke you were at home. A couple things, these are not negatives, just for those travelling to be aware of: There are steep stairs to enter the house and while close in miles to Mill Valley and San Francisco, it is a really windy road to get in and out. Both things completely doable but if you have mobility issues or get car sick be prepared. If your purpose is to visit Muir Woods and Stinson Beach, the location is ideal. The views from the Muir Beach Outlook, just across the street, are breathtaking. The hosts are amazing and great communicators.

We decided to book this lovely home to hold our elopement ceremony with a few close friends. The deck overlooks some beautiful hills that you can see the fog roll through in the mornings. It was perfect for 7 people to chat and cook and eat together, while simultaneously offering rooms far enough away from each other to give the occupants privacy if needed.Aside from the view, the kitchen and decor are probably the next best things. The kitchen is stocked with every utensil, pot, pan, bowl, etc. that you would think to need, and the fridge and freezer were spacious. The fridge had a water dispenser and ice maker as well. As for the decor, this was not a cookie cutter VRBO but a cozy home filled with all sorts of unique art, Beatles paraphernalia, Godzilla statues and more. It’s got a lot personality.Greg was super responsive during our stay and there were detailed notes throughout about little quirks of the house to help you familiarize yourself with the space. The home was clean, the beds super comfy, and, though cell signal was difficult to get, the WiFi worked wonderfully. The stairs down to the home from the street were navigable for us 30-somethings with bad knees. There’s also a handrail if you’re worried about it. We were able to carry ice chests and luggage down it with only a minimal amount of huffing and puffing.Overall, we would highly recommend and are so happy we chose this home for our elopement! This was a beautiful home with the exact accommodations our family needed for our trip. The kitchen is magnificent. Everything we needed for our stay was there. I wish the weather had been better so we could have enjoyed a glass of wine admiring the scenic view from the patio.

Beautifully appointed home. Owner very responsive to questions and gave us wonderful suggestions for restaurants and activities in the area. Lots of light. Open kitchen/dining area. Wonderful view of mountains from the deck. Comfy beds. Generous bath products. Huge dining table for visiting and playing games. Great getaway close to Muir Woods , and 80 pictures but convenient to city of Adan Francisco as well.

This property has a fabulous location for nature lovers, and is also a good choice for children. For toddlers who cannot yet navigate stairs independently, you may wish to bring a portable gate to make sure they don't wander too far and get into a precarious situation. Also, if stairs are difficult for you, be aware that the stairs going down from the road to the front door only have a railing on one side. The kitchen is well-equipped to cook for a group, and the other common areas are quite comfortable!

This is an amazing property for all occasions. We had six friends celebrating a milestone birthday, and we all had plenty of room to move about and/ or cook and eat. The convenience of the Owl Trail expands the house further. The deck is expansive and was a great gathering point between the storms. Kitchen very well equipped. Very new and large fridge/freezer with plenty of ice for us all. We are all Beatles freaks, and so are the owners. We added some songs on our guitars to keep the memorabilia happy. Great WiFi. Just a perfect house for the weekend.

My friends and I stayed here for our annual ladies’ weekend and had a great time. The location of the house is fantastic. It’s just steps to the Muir Beach overlook with gorgeous views of the ocean. Muir Beach is a short drive away and Mill Valley is only 20 min. by car. We all enjoyed doing the short hike from the overlook to Slide Ranch. Hiking in Muir Woods was also beautiful. The house was very clean which we appreciated. The kitchen is well-stocked and the view from the dining room and deck is lovely. The beds were comfortable and the house had many nice amenities included. Highly recommend!

Overall the place was nice and clean, nice view, nice beds et al. However, in the listing there were no pictures of the treacherous stairs leading down to the property from the street. (30+? at a very steep grade) My 85 year parents could barely get up and down them to enter or exit the property. One step, wait, another, wait.... We all struggled as well to carry a case of water, a cooler, large luggage. It was quite harrowing. The hand railing was wobbly and I cannot believe this was not mentioned or shown in the listing. Owners were very friendly and accommodating, again place was clean but there are SO MANY STAIRS at this place.

This house is really cool. If I was the owner, I would have been clearer in the description about the access (17 steep stairs from the sidewalk level down to the front door), just because some members of my party were older, but when I asked the owner for details he was very responsive. The view out the floor to ceiling windows in the living room is otherworldly. Breathtaking view of the mountains to the north. Easy to forget we were staying just a short drive from town, the beach parking lot, etc. Super-close to a couple trails/outlooks. And the rooms were nice.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful Muir Beach home. It was a 70th birthday party and family reunion. The house was big enough so we were able to spread out but also enjoy the amenities (eg the big kitchen, dining room and living room). It’s an easy walk up to the Muir Beach overlook and nearby hiking at Muir Beach. There were three big bedrooms and a smaller bedroom with a twin and loft bed which would have been perfect for a kid or teen. As the youngest older adults, we made it work and it was actually pretty cozy. The views of the hills and local birds in the bird feeder were stunning. Would definitely recommend!

Great place for our family of 5 adults and two toddlers! Large first floor bedroom with en-suite bathroom was ideal for the little family with its crib room and spacious area and lots of windows. Upstairs bedrooms allowed for privacy and comfortable beds. Kitchen and bathrooms are all updated and exceptionally clean. The very large open main floor had spectacular views and many seating areas for smaller conversations yet large enough for all to gather. We had one dinner party for 12 and the home accommodated our guests well the two decks are amazing: lots of space to take in the gorgeous Mountain View. The location near Muir Beach Lookout was an added delight-a two minute walk to see the ocean from the highest point around The toys for the kids were a highlight for us! These two little ones were fully engaged and entertained allowing their parents much peace. About a 30 minute trip into Mill Valley if you are not used to driving on curving but beautiful mountain roads. We had five great nights here

We stayed for 4 nights in October. We were a party of 8 - four adults, and kids ranging from 11-17. The house has a gorgeous view of the mountain and is a very short walk to the Muir Beach Overlook, where you can view beautiful sunsets. The location worked well for day trips into San Francisco and up the coast. The roads are very windy so I recommend arriving in daylight. We had plenty of room for my sister’s family to visit and play charades. Hosts were very responsive! They have a great play area and my kids loved playing school. They also made a movie on the deck. Lots of space to spread out! We didn’t feel cramped at all. There is a long staircase to get into the house, and a lot of stairs in the house, so keep that in mind if that is an issue to you. Overall, a great stay.

We stayed here with 7 adults and that was the perfect number of adults. Could have more if others were children, but I would say that is max as far as adults. Home was clean and beds were comfy. Well equipped kitchen and beautiful deck. It felt luke you were at home. A couple things, these are not negatives, just for those travelling to be aware of: There are steep stairs to enter the house and while close in miles to Mill Valley and San Francisco, it is a really windy road to get in and out. Both things completely doable but if you have mobility issues or get car sick be prepared. If your purpose is to visit Muir Woods and Stinson Beach, the location is ideal. The views from the Muir Beach Outlook, just across the street, are breathtaking. The hosts are amazing and great communicators.

It was perfect for 7 people to chat and cook and eat together, while simultaneously offering rooms far enough away from each other to give the occupants privacy if needed.Aside from the view, the kitchen and decor are probably the next best things. The kitchen is stocked with every utensil, pot, pan, bowl, etc. that you would think to need, and the fridge and freezer were spacious. The fridge had a water dispenser and ice maker as well. As for the decor, this was not a cookie cutter VRBO but a cozy home filled with all sorts of unique art, Beatles paraphernalia, Godzilla statues and more. This house is really cool. If I was the owner, I would have been clearer in the description about the access (17 steep stairs from the sidewalk level down to the front door), just because some members of my party were older, but when I asked the owner for details he was very responsive. The view out the floor to ceiling windows in the living room is otherworldly. Breathtaking view of the mountains to the north. Easy to forget we were staying just a short drive from town, the beach parking lot, etc. Super-close to a couple trails/outlooks. And the rooms were nice.

A great place to refresh and renew…very group friendly with lovely private bedrooms and great group gathering space…everything you need for a wonderful time…Muir and Stinson Beach…further down the road fresh oysters from private beds. Mill Valley has lots of first class places to eat and shop. Or just a mile from the house the Pelican is a primo old English pub. Greg and Deb were very supportive of our family, and lovely to deal with. Best VRBO I have stayed in all my years...and one of the most fun places to visit.

My friends and I stayed here for our annual ladies’ weekend and had a great time. The location of the house is fantastic. It’s just steps to the Muir Beach overlook with gorgeous views of the ocean. Muir Beach is a short drive away and Mill Valley is only 20 min. by car. We all enjoyed doing the short hike from the overlook to Slide Ranch. Hiking in Muir Woods was also beautiful. The house was very clean which we appreciated. The kitchen is well-stocked and the view from the dining room and deck is lovely. The beds were comfortable and the house had many nice amenities included. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our time at this lovely home. It is well equipped with everything we needed and we found it very comfortable and cozy. The hosts were also very responsive and helpful. It's located near the Muir Beach Overlook so we could watch the sunset at a picnic table by an ocean cliff each evening ... and the house has a deck with a wonderful view facing the hills so the early risers in the family could also watch the sunrise. (The pictures don't do it justice; the view is better and the home is bigger than the photos indicate.) We were seven people - five adults and two kids - and we had plenty of room. We saw a family of quails on the hillside, right off the house deck. And we really enjoyed watching the fog roll over the hills. While the rest of the country is experiencing a heat wave, we enjoyed perfect weather - foggy mornings and sunny afternoons. Muir Beach is 20 minute hike down the hill; or a 5 minute drive (but get there early, as the parking lot fills up quickly). We had a great time and would love to stay here again.

We came into town for a wedding and stayed at this amazing property. It was perfect for our family of six adults. We grilled burgers & dogs, ate breakfast at the house every day. Kitchen is beautiful and totally stocked. We visited Muir Woods, Stinson Beach, hiked the Owl Trail which is just steps from the house. The views from Owl Trail & Muir Beach Overlook are amazing. Also had a couple great lunches in Mill Valley & Sausalito. We had a great time and would definitely stay again.
We came into town for a wedding and stayed at this amazing property. It was perfect for our family of six adults. We grilled burgers & dogs, ate breakfast at the house every day. Kitchen is beautiful and totally stocked. We visited Muir Woods, Stinson Beach, hiked the Owl Trail which is just steps from the house. The views from Owl Trail & Muir Beach Overlook are amazing. Also had a couple great lunches in Mill Valley & Sausalito. We had a great time and would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful Muir Beach home. It was a 70th birthday party and family reunion. The house was big enough so we were able to spread out but also enjoy the amenities (eg the big kitchen, dining room and living room). It’s an easy walk up to the Muir Beach overlook and nearby hiking at Muir Beach. There were three big bedrooms and a smaller bedroom with a twin and loft bed which would have been perfect for a kid or teen. As the youngest older adults, we made it work and it was actually pretty cozy. The views of the hills and local birds in the bird feeder were stunning. Would definitely recommend!

The house was perfect for our group and the location is incredible! Highlights for us were: the deck, the well-equipped kitchen, the house layout with bedrooms nicely spaced for privacy, the Beatles paraphernalia, and especially the location. The views are gorgeous and it's just a very short walk to the ocean lookout, where we watched every sunset and also did some star-gazing. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Great place for our family of 5 adults and two toddlers! Large first floor bedroom with en-suite bathroom was ideal for the little family with its crib room and spacious area and lots of windows. Upstairs bedrooms allowed for privacy and comfortable beds. Kitchen and bathrooms are all updated and exceptionally clean. The very large open main floor had spectacular views and many seating areas for smaller conversations yet large enough for all to gather. We had one dinner party for 12 and the home accommodated our guests well the two decks are amazing: lots of space to take in the gorgeous Mountain View. The location near Muir Beach Lookout was an added delight-a two minute walk to see the ocean from the highest point around The toys for the kids were a highlight for us! These two little ones were fully engaged and entertained allowing their parents much peace. About a 30 minute trip into Mill Valley if you are not used to driving on curving but beautiful mountain roads. We had five great nights here

We decided to book this lovely home to hold our elopement ceremony with a few close friends. The deck overlooks some beautiful hills that you can see the fog roll through in the mornings. It was perfect for 7 people to chat and cook and eat together, while simultaneously offering rooms far enough away from each other to give the occupants privacy if needed.Aside from the view, the kitchen and decor are probably the next best things. The kitchen is stocked with every utensil, pot, pan, bowl, etc. that you would think to need, and the fridge and freezer were spacious. The fridge had a water dispenser and ice maker as well. As for the decor, this was not a cookie cutter VRBO but a cozy home filled with all sorts of unique art, Beatles paraphernalia, Godzilla statues and more. It’s got a lot personality.Greg was super responsive during our stay and there were detailed notes throughout about little quirks of the house to help you familiarize yourself with the space. The home was clean, the beds super comfy, and, though cell signal was difficult to get, the WiFi worked wonderfully. The stairs down to the home from the street were navigable for us 30-somethings with bad knees. There’s also a handrail if you’re worried about it. We were able to carry ice chests and luggage down it with only a minimal amount of huffing and puffing.Overall, we would highly recommend and are so happy we chose this home for our elopement! This was a beautiful home with the exact accommodations our family needed for our trip. The kitchen is magnificent. Everything we needed for our stay was there. I wish the weather had been better so we could have enjoyed a glass of wine admiring the scenic view from the patio.

Beautifully appointed home. Owner very responsive to questions and gave us wonderful suggestions for restaurants and activities in the area. Lots of light. Open kitchen/dining area. Wonderful view of mountains from the deck. Comfy beds. Generous bath products. Huge dining table for visiting and playing games. Great getaway close to Muir Woods , and 80 pictures but convenient to city of Adan Francisco as well.

This is an amazing property for all occasions. We had six friends celebrating a milestone birthday, and we all had plenty of room to move about and/ or cook and eat. The convenience of the Owl Trail expands the house further. The deck is expansive and was a great gathering point between the storms. Kitchen very well equipped. Very new and large fridge/freezer with plenty of ice for us all. We are all Beatles freaks, and so are the owners. We added some songs on our guitars to keep the memorabilia happy. Great WiFi. Just a perfect house for the weekend.

The house is beautiful and so comfortable! Views are great from the deck and it's just a quick walk up the hill to see the ocean - amazing location. I ended up arriving about an hour before official check-in and Greg gave me the green light to check in early, which was very kind! Communication was easy throughout the weekend, especially since the hosts live in the space at the top of the hill - within sight of the rental house. Would stay again! Would recommend!

The property was exactly as advertised, and had everything we needed for our trip! The hosts Greg and Deb provided a wealth of helpful information leading up to and throughout our stay. The views from the main living space and deck were spectacular, as were views from the Muir Beach lookout across the street, and while driving up and down Highway 1. Our boys also enjoyed the loft spaces in the property. Easy access to/from San Francisco across the Golden Gate Bridge. Check-in and check-out couldn’t have been easier. Thanks again to Greg and Deb!
