Great location. Park was full and they let us leave the car there before check in for the day. Took the local shuttle to Zion visitor center and the zion shuttle to top. I wished there was a coffee maker in the room. There was coffee in the lobby kind of tucked away in the corner. The pool and jacuzzi were closed for the summer.comfortable bed and quiet

Conveniently located just outside Zion NP and right on the bus line into the park. Rooms were adequately spacious and clean. Daily maid service was not provided. Hot tub was not operating and several leaves in the swimming pool. But convenience to park, dining, shopping and free parking more than met our needs.

Ice machine broke—hot tub broke- no sink stopper- fridge temp control knob missing and stuck on high freezing everything and front desk not open till 730 and same bagged breakfast all 3 days.Will not stay here again.

The WIFI was terrible and prevented me from communicating with the front desk easily after 3PM. Since the WIFI was bad, the streaming TV didn't work well. Baseboard tile in the bathroom was falling off and revealed mold. The window was broken and repaired(?) with blue painter's tape. Breakfast included? Breakfast was an apple and a yogurt in a bag. The quaint diner/cafe that used to be at this lodge is now a Chinese restaurant. All of this wasn't shocking given the price of the room.

Although they advertised for free breakfast, it was a brown bag with a yogurt& apple in it. Their one & only ice machine was “out of order”. They told us we could go to local gas station & buy a bag of ice if we needed it! There was supposed to be a restaurant on premises as well, but that was closed. Room was a bit outdated, along with a wall HVAC unit that did not work, but was still there. We met another couple who was staying there and they had the Lodge spray twice for roaches they saw in their room!! Pioneer Lodge is advertised way better than it is!!

The room was musty, the sheets were stained, the ac unit was loud and the ice machine was broken. On the bright side the location was great the shuttle to Zion was right out front and the restaurants and shopping were walking distance.

Don't stay here, not in room # 215, unless you like cockroaches in your bedroom. Bathroom was not not maintained, peeling paint above tub tile, torn bath curtains, toilet kept running after flushing for several minutes. Small parking lot with no turnaround, had to back out. Chipped and missing tiles in walkway and on steps. Apparently some rooms are remodeled, due to a fire. Stay somewhere else!!!

The proximity to the national park gate was great! The hotel was in need of some major maintenance. The floors made your feet black with how dirty they were. It just seemed like they were in the middle of renovations and then just stopped. Any repairs that has been done we're done very cheaply and not correctly. It was disappointing for the price we paid.

A very busy place. Parking is difficult. Glad we were only there to sleep as the rooms were very small. Unfortunately the walls are not sound proofed and we could hear our neighbors talking.

Great location, comfortable room. Loved the lowkey pool with mountain views. The only issue was that the AC unit would only run for short periods of time. It would stop running after 30-45 min, and then I’d have to get up to reset it and turn it back on. When I tried using the “fan only” setting, the temp would gradually get higher and higher until it was basically hot air coming out.

The room was clean and the staff was nice but the air conditioning was terrible. They don’t want you to set it below 70 (it’s super hot) and the air conditioner sucks anyway. Even if you set it below 70 it barely runs and you can hardly sleep because you’re sweating. Won’t be staying here again just because the heat was terrible.

The room was clean, the supplied amenities were nice, the bed was comfortable, and it’s in a quiet location. They’ve also been seemingly recently renovated which made the rooms a bit more on the modern side which I enjoyed. The staff was super nice and made sure I knew I could text their number at any time if I needed anything. It’s also right in the middle of Springdale surrounded by restaurants and shops, but not too far from the park entrance. Overall, it made the trip to Zion wonderful!

This is an older feel motel, that happens to be clean with a great staff. It’s located right in the middle of restaurants and shops. You’re welcomed to leave your car all day on the day of check out as well.

A quiet area… close to everything there is to do in the area. You will have to squint at room numbers if arriving late, also ensure you reach out to property prior to 8:00PM. They do not staff the office after 8:00, and I had trouble getting in contact w/ staff due to getting in later than expected.

The Lodge was a perfect location for us to enter Zion. The owner/operator prepared breakfast bags for everyone which was very kind. We also appreciated being able to park at the Lodge while inside Zion.

What can you say. This is ZION. But the Pioneer Lodge needs to be updated given its location to park entrance. Its amenities were scratch as best. Worst display of a continental breakfast and the bed is a safety hazard with the bedframe sticking out to catch a shin.

Location is great. Close to Zion and many restaurants in walking distance. Clean but a little dated. Rooms good sized and bathroom has plenty of counter space. Breakfast doesn’t start until 7:30 you can grab a bag breakfast the night before if you plan to leave before then.
