I wasnt expecting anything spectacular for $130 a night, but i at least expected clean. Our room was so filthy. You could tell that the housekeepers clean what they see, and thats it. There were water bottles behind the tv, when i moved the mattress a little bit to check for bugs the cob webs were INSANE, right under where you lay your head. And lets not talk aboit how stained the actual mattress is!! So gross!! Our door looked like it had been knocked in a few times too many, and had a big gap that could see through to the hallway. We had to baracade the door with whatever we could find. Lastly, my kids wanted to swim but the water was so cloudy that you couldnt even see through it, and funk in the pool area was nearly unbearable. Needless to say we left as soon as we woke up. Very disappointed!

Parking lot was completely full on Saturday night. Only one elevator was a bit limiting...it would be nice to have one at the other end of the building too. I would have liked to see the room numbers designated by "wing"..... if you went in a different door, it was easy to get lost.

Room was spacious and clean. However, it was 57F when we got in (late) and it was after midnight before it got up to a comfortable temperature. And the floor never warmed up! Also, the parking fee took me by surprise.

Property was fine, a bit dated, but still had everything needed. Main reason I booked was pool for the kids. When we showed up the pool was closed. I guess they had an incident the night before, but was told the pool would be open within an hour. 3 days later when we checked out it still wasn't open. Every time I asked was told I have no idea what's going on, its closed. When I asked about a credit for the pool being closed was told contact Expedia.

This hotel was very nice, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, and on Wed evening has a free appetizer event with free wine and beer for 1 1/2 hours. The beds were very comfortable. We would stay here again for sure!

Property is a little dated. Room size was incredible. Couch was a little dated. Breakfast was really good. Omelettes and Eckrich sausage one day and scrambled eggs and patty sausage the next day. Plus the usual fare of waffles, cereal, muffins, etc…A water and dryer were available and used. Laundry soap was available for purchase on site. 4 of 5 stars. It was a comfortable room and a good value for the area.

A good facility. Floors and surfaces in the room could be cleaner. Pans were unusable, very scratched teflon, should be thrown out. Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Wish they would not charge for parking, it's a "money grab".

The rooms were nice, beds were comfortable! But the dishes were in the dishwaser when we got there and some of them were dirty. The staff was friendly. The pool was cold! The pool room was dirty. There was food and hair on the floor! I honestly dont think i would stay there again.

We had a room with a kitchenette and planned to cook some of our meals in the room but there was only 1 fork, 1 spoon and 1 knife. similar number of dishes. Housekeeping does not come on a daily basis. They only make up the rooms every other day. That meant no refill for coffee maker .I called the day before our arrival to make sure the pool was open. When he got there we were told it was not up a running. They suggested we could go to pool at hotel next door (this was in the middle of February) to use that pool at no charge. Fortunately, they were able to open the pool later that night. It was just an ok stay. probably would not recommend it to my friends.

The room was very outdated and dirty.The sheets had stains on them. The toilet was so low to the ground. For the price I paid I expected a much nicer place .I would never stay there again

The first room we got was dirty, dusty and had mold on the bathroom ceiling. I needed to wipe up some water from the bathroom floor and the white towel was brown when I finished. The mirrors were all smeared and the coffeemaker was covered in thick dust. It was also down 3 long hallways that twisted and turned. The second room was better except that the mold was still in the bathroom ceiling and the coffeemaker did not work. We were there 4 days, and the pool was not open at all. They sent us next door to the Comfort Inn... where the pool was so cloudy that you could not see the bottom or even the steps! Breakfast was so so. What was there was okay, but the muffins and bagels were scarce and there was no oatmeal one day. ( The next day it was too thick to eat). After we checked in, I got a message asking how everything was... I told them and did not hear back. I finally went to the desk to request a new room. NOT up to Hilton quality!

Old dirty carpeting in hallways, dingy lighting, part of ceiling was breaking down in the room, pillows so flat you would need 6 to combine into one decently supportive one, bathtubs not clean, old and run down. Only redeeming factor was the breakfast area looked nice. Will NOT be staying here again.

Room was filthy when we arrived and was told by staff that no one could come clean room until next day because house keeping was gone for the night. This hotel has almost 100 rooms and they only had one person on staff from 6pm until 8am the next day I had to protest because they tried to charge me a $75 per fee even though my dog was only at the hotel for 10 minutes. I dropped my dog off to relatives as soon as I arrived. Rooms are not kept up like they should be. Our refrigerator was full of food from the previous guess and our bed sheets were never changed from the last guest

Room was a long walk from elevator. Hotel is a big "C" shape, no elevator at other end. So if you have mobility issues, that may be a factor.

They need to fix room 307!!! Sinks that pool up.... entry door with broken seal so the hall light is shinning in the room and we had to cover it with towels... the furnace is so loud... it wakes us up (but the blessing is that it worked!)... front counter staff very nice

We really liked that there was a separate bedroom from the living area. Had full kitchen and living room, which had we stayed longer we could have prepared our own meals. Breakfast was very good

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite as we like to have separate sleeping areas for our son, one of the bedrooms had no heat and was freezing all night long. It felt like it was just blowing cold air which was even worse. We called down for extra blankets and have always had someone bring them up in any other hotel we have stayed in, but we were asked to go down and get them(not a big deal, but odd). Both bedroom alarms went off, waking everyone, one at 5am and one at 6am. I have never had this happen, so never thought I would need to double check alarm clocks in a hotel room. One of the bathtubs didn’t drain and had floating dirty water sitting. The other tub didn’t have a plug for a bath for our kiddo. The shower rod in one bathroom was hanging off the broken tiles ready to fall any minute. The microwave in the little kitchenette did not work. The space was ideal for what we needed, but for the price we paid, the quality was not up to par. Overall stay with all those things made it unenjoyable. Would definitely not return.

Suites are clean and simply appointed - some of the fixtures, etc were not exactly quality installs. The entry is pleasant and spacious - getting to the rooms is a bit of a maze along hallways with rather garish carpet!

Homewood Suites was roomy, clean and had everything anyone would need for a comfortable stay. It’s was 5-10 minute drive to colleges, supermarkets restaurants and stores.I would definitely stay again!

We stay here quite often, staff is great, location is great, close to RIT. Most of the time we've been completely satisfied with room, this past stay we encountered some issues, AC was noisy and not working all the time, ceiling fan was louder than normal and a few burnt out lights, definitely out of character for this hotel. We will continue to stay here, and definitely recommend, but definitely need some repairs and maintenance.

Check-in was at 3pm. We arrived at 3:45. And our room was not ready for another 45 minutes, very disappointing after a long drive. All the dishes were in the dishwasher we had to put them away.

No one was at the front desk when we got here and even after calling the hotel it took several minutes to get someone to the front desk. Our service person was slow and not very attentive. When we asked if we could have a room close to our friends she replied our room wasn’t scheduled yet. We ended up on a different floor as far from the elevator as was possible. Our bed looked as though someone had been laying on it before we got there.

We arrived at 3:20 am after traveling a long way. I called ahead to let the hotel know we would be so late and they said someone would be there to check us in. When we arrived the building was unlocked and the only person there was setting up for breakfast. No one was at the desk and it took 20 minutes to locate him. I believe he was outside sleeping in his car.

I gave 5 stars on all the questions asked. However, when we checked in, we were told they have implemented an $8 parking fee. Come on!! In Henrietta, NY?? A few to park your car when you paid a good price for a room for one night?? Not happy. Got in room. Fridge had no ice. Went to front desk and she took me into the kitchen and gave me ice. She said I should activate ice maker in fridge. That older fridge did not have an ice maker! Received a text from hotel asking how our stay was going. Expressed my feelings about parking fee and no ice maker. Said I was going to complain about the extra fee to corporate. I plan to. We were happy that they waived the parking fee because of my trouble getting ice. Also, do they give the less desirable rooms to people who book through Expedia???? I tend to think so. I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights upon checkin I was charged twice once by Expedia and 2nd by the hotel I wanted to ensure I was correct so I went to the front desk the next morning and the hotel reversed the charges the room was very tired but was clean. Unfortunately it was all down hill from there our first morning we went to the elevator and there was garbage piled along the wall by the elevator then we went down to breakfast at 8:45 (breakfast till 10) and we were told they ran out of food. We were told it would be 30 mins till the manager was going to bring more food. We waited about 40 mins and they did bring some bagels and English muffins some eggs that served about 6 people and some sausage there was alot of hanger people. We left the hotel for the day ran and once we arrived the garbage was still there and began to smell. The next morning was our checkout when we went to go down stairs the garage was still sitting there and had a horrible smell thankfully there was breakfast when we went to the front desk to check out the lady at the desk was not helpful at all we asked if there would be any compensation for no breakfast on the Saturday and her answer was there is nothing in your chart so no and when we complained about the garbage her answer was you can email hotel manager. It was a very disappointing stay as this hotel is run by the Hilton and is not Hilton standards at all.

We did not receive housekeeping service even though we were supposed to due to staying for 4 days. Issue raised with front desk staff and manager but no action and even no response from manager. This was a major reason for selecting a hotel instead of airbnb for our family of four but Hilton did not deliver.

Great hotel, location is perfect, right off the 390, close to shopping, etc. The rooms are large with a kitchen and a sitting area with the bedroom in a different room. The free parking and breakfast make it a perfect place for us to stay.

My stay at Homewood Suites Rochester Henrietta was amazing! The suite was clean and had all the amenities one could ask for. It was close to everything so I merely had to go up the street for anything I desired. I will definitely be staying there anytime I am in Rochester again.

The hotel was showing some wear, bathroom floor could have been cleaned better, finding a hair in the bathtub. The complimentary breakfasts have not improved over the last year. I was thrilled the Cracker Barrel was within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and the lobby was always clean.

Overall everything was average/basic/"good enough." Considering I paid over $200 to stay here, it could have been a LOT better. The bed was way too firm (by anyone's standards.) The towels were like sandpaper. The next morning breakfast was TERRIBLE. I've paid less in the past for hotels elsewhere and had a much more extensive selection. We got to the breakfast area around 10-15 minutes after it started just in time for cold eggs, cold sausage, and soupy oatmeal. (Bit of advice - skip their breakfast and eat at Cracker Barrel next door. At least you don't pay $200 to microwave their food.) Overall very dissatisfied. No value and I wouldn't stay again if given the opportunity.
