Arrived and there were no signs for La Quinta on the building or anywhere. Apparently they changed their name and are now called something else. Had to go in and ask if I was at the right place. Was expecting more out of the included breakfast. Mini egg and cheese omelette, mini blueberry muffins, English muffins, cereal. No scrambled eggs, no bacon or sausage, no home fries, no waffle maker, no hard boiled eggs, no pancakes, no bagels, no fruit cocktail. I always stay at places where I can get a good breakfast included. This is not the place. The 1 breakfast staff lady is also not friendly. I grabbed an English muffin with my hand because I didn’t see the tongs where it was sitting on top of the cabinet. She told me I had to use the tongs. I told her they should be on the counter next to the cabinet so people can see it especially a smaller child would definitely not see it or be able to reach it. She said the counter was dirty. I was very surprised by that response since the tongs sit in a dish and don’t have direct contact with the counter. Another day we went with a couple hours left in breakfast and the main course of egg and cheese omelette was already empty and I asked her if there was any left and she said no rudely. I thought the pool was going to be indoor, but that was my mistake. There was a picture on the wall that was upside down, when I took it off the wall to correct it a live beetle or roach fell out from behind it. WiFi didn’t work, wouldn’t connect to Mac.

My room was....I would say "pretty decent". Being there made me realize that bringing my own items as far as soap, shampoo, etc is probably a smart play. I had to ask the front desk for soap, and then I got some very small bars of soap (like for hand washing purposes) from the front desk after having to ask for them. There were receivers for big bottles of soap, shampoo, etc, but they were not there. Overall, it wasn't a bad stay. The room was clean and I had a decent amount of towels. The guy at the front desk was helpful to me.
