SureStay Hotel by Best Western Lenoir City

The first room we went to all the lights were down, and there was a few that did not work. We could not make out how clean or dirty the room was. When I got a hold of the manager, he come up and tried to fix it, but moved us to a different room. He kind of acted like it was an inconvenience for him. He kinda acted like it was an inconvenience for him. Then was talking to his dad and his native language in front of me and I believe it was pretty rude. Once in the second room, one bed after pulling the sheet bag was stained and disgusting.. The other bed was clean and we could not find another room for that weekend. Avoid this hotel and just sleep in your car.

There is nothing positive about this place. The room felt damp the entire time we were there, to the point your clothes almost felt wet when you put them on. There was mold in the bathroom on the ceiling and the walls near the ceiling. We were told when we checked in there were no more rooms available, so we knew we couldn’t ask for a new room. The door didn’t close at the top and bottom; it was bowed, so you could see daylight around the door except where it locked. Less than half of the outlets in the room worked. My children’s feet were almost black from walking on the carpet in the room, within an hour of arriving. The pool was closed for “maintenance” our entire stay, but it looked completely fine and functional. The room phone didn’t work, and when my husband called the front desk from his cell phone, they answered by snapping “Who is this?!” I was chastised at check-in because I mistakenly did not add my 2 young children on the reservation, and was told “it’s ok this time, but there should be an additional fee charged”. We only stayed because we had already paid, we were tired, and we didn’t feel like fighting with Expedia to get our money refunded after we checked in. Do not waste your time or money.

Room is very dirty and it was supposed to be a non-smoking room but smelled smoky and very musty like mold. Management would not refund even though the home was unkept. Toilet was still dirty. Floor was sticky.👎👎 I decided to take my $138 loss and find a cleaner place to stay.

I had to go and purchase cleaning supplies. There was dead roach bugs in the area with the jacuzzi. The dirt and dried urine around the toilet was disgusting. I spent $150.00 on cleaning supplies and over all am very disappointment we in the stay especially for the cost per night. This is a mere 1 star property.

Clean room but nothing fancy.
