The staff is exceptional! They make you feel welcome for your business. The room was clean and bed comfortable. Only thing I would say I heard lied banging throughout the night and the pool was out for renovations. Other than that I would have given 5 across the board. Customer service rock and by far the best I’ve ever encountered. Kudos!!!

Average property with friendly staff and excellent service as they allowed us to cancel and refunded us for the nights we didn’t stay. They had a refurbishment taken place, the pool was closed and this information wasn’t on Expedia. However, they did allow us to check out the next day and refunded us for the nights we didn’t stay. The property is on an industrial estate with nothing around it and 25 minutes away from the nearest beach. The breakfast options are very limited too.

Building under renovations. No pool available. No Hampton Inn sign on the building - so, hard to find on the first try. Rooms and interior of building clean and in good repair. Typical delicious breakfast. Like proximity to Long Center where I come twice a year for Masters Swim meets.

I did not like that the seat used for people with disabilities to enter the pool is broken and the cables were hanging out. That's dangerous. I Also think there's bed bugs because we were all scratching all our bodies when went to sleep.

It was our first time staying at this hotel. It could be a very nice hotel. Good breakfast area. Friendly staff. But the roof was being worked on,replacing some wood and styrofoam around the facade on the top of the building. The hotel should have been closed down, or at least information should have been given at check-in about the project giving patrons a chance to go elsewhere. But what a mess! The styro was everywhere outside, all over our cars, on us, in our hair, in the pool, and all over the inside of the hotel. An employee was working on the pool all day trying to dip out the styrofoam, but it was a constant, never ending job. It was August in Florida and very hot! Everyone wanted to be in the pool. WHAT A MESS! And the heavy equipment they were using to get to the top of the hotel was all over the place, taking up all the closest parking spaces which made it difficult for my husband and I as we are both semi-handicapped. Our group had 2 rooms reserved for Thurs, Aug 15, and 7 rooms reserved for Friday, Aug 16, as we had a large family group that met at the hotel for a family vacation. It was just a mess!

The hotel is going through renovation now but the staff is very up front about it. No pool in service now and there is large equipment surrounding the hotel but it is not a big deal. The place is very clean, the breakfast is good, and the staff (especially Andres in Maintenance) does go out of their way to make it a good stay. Close to airport.

Everything was great as usual. When I took the kids to the pool this time, there was styrofoam floating in the pool and lots of it falling from the roof floating in the air and falling in the pool. The place was under construction and the pool was still open. Anyway, the kids didn’t really like that so we pretty much stayed in the room the whole time.

We had no hot water to take a shower and we were up at 3 am to get a shower and be at the airport by 4. I let the water run for 10 minutes and it was still lukewarm. The desk clerk said they knew about the problem and which rooms it occurs in but they still assigned us one of those rooms. Did not offer any credit for the issue.

We had to book two rooms on short notice due to a bad experience at another hotel. They were able to help us get the two rooms as close together as possible. The hotel was incredibly clean and well-maintained. There were not any broken fixtures, trim, or strange marks on the walls. The bathroom was pristine, and the beds linens were fresh and neatly made. I highly recommend this hotel!

First the positives: The hotel was clean. The room was clean, and the man at check-in was friendly and professional. It was also an affordable stay. However, the room felt extremely outdated. The furniture and carpet looked like they hadn’t been updated since the late 90s. Bathroom door needs repainting. The view from my window was awful, overlooking what seemed like demolished buildings, warehouses and industrial site. Breakfast was very disappointing: dry omelets, sausage, and potatoes, canned-tasting fruit, and paper plates. Seating was limited, and although the staff kept things tidy, the quality was far below other Hampton Inn locations I’ve stayed at — especially compared to the ones in Jacksonville. Checkout was frustrating too, with a long wait while the front desk staff was away restocking supplies. I won’t be staying here again.

The hotel was nice. The rooms were clean and updated. The beds were comfy. Great shower pressure and we liked the products. The biggest problem we had was that the fridge was a very warm temp and we lost all our Thai food leftovers.

Once we checked in at almost midnight due to a 6 hour delay with American Airlines to arrive at Tampa Airport. Our first desk customer service , Ashley showed compassion and concern regarding our extremely long day. Ashley cared about us having a long day and gave us something to drink. We needed extra towels for our third guest and house keeping brought them right up. Ashley, housekeeping and other staff front desk staff. Thank you

We planned the trip with and paid in full before arriving. When we got there we showed our paid reservation and they took our credit card for incidentals. When we checked out they had charged our stay. We were double charged. We complained and called our credit card company. The front desk said they would credit and it will appear in 24 to 48 hours and 4 days passed and no credit. We contacted Expedia and was on the phone for 2 hours. Horrible vacation in this hotel. No call backs or anything.

What I liked most about my stay at Hampton Inn is customer service. Anytime I needed extra towels, directions or restaurant recommendations...they were helpful and polite. Additionally, the hotel is clean and quiet. I will definitely stay here again. Most company's don't value excellent customer service which is the one ingredient in keeping customers satisfied.

We like having a bench for our suitcases and a hot breakfast in the morning. The beds are comfy and the AC kept the Florida heat and humidity in check. The only negative was the bathroom light which automatically came on when entered and did not have a night light. Very close to the airport making it easy to catch our flight.

We were on the 6th floor & the room next to us brought their barking dog that we had to listen to at night & early morning. Quests with pets should all be on a lower floor as not to be a nuisance to others. Breakfast buffet ran out at 9:15 & there was no coffee

We were very disappointed in this Hampton Inn stay. I enjoy swimming each morning to start my day but the pool was not heated and water temp to cold to use BUT upon arrive we were informed pool was open dusk to dawn. Pool was not clean. It appeared the pool had not been cleaned for quite some time. We received a wake up call at 6AM when we didn't request it. When I called the front desk they stated the computer sometimes doesn't clear the previous user's request from prior stays. Hot eggs, my wife has lactose issues and cannot have cheese. When we asked, for hot eggs without cheese, we were told No, not something they do. Best Westerns have no problem providing that accommodation. Very disappointing stay.

Friendly staff. The room was a bit dated, would like it if there was no carpet with years of stains. I could small an occasional unpleasant odor in the hallway but this is Florida. The tv wouldn’t connect to whatever system they are using and I did not have hot water at 5:30 AM. The eggs at breakfast were rubbery.

Bad rooms. Good staff. Our first room had very bad odor that kept getting stronger. Shower was pretty much useless. Bad layout and the name king suite is a joke. There was hardly space to walk. We regretted not switching rooms right away but we were very tired after driving several hours that day. Next morning we switched rooms and picked the one that had no smell, but this one had a dirty torn rug, lights flickering and bathroom had rusted hardware. Not sure how this is rated excellent on Hotels.com. I wish I had the time to switch hotels but was busy with.work. I will definitely avoid this hotel

My stay here at the Hampton Inn was great. I needed a handicap accessible room w/roll-in shower & I was able to book their last room of this type. The front desk staff were very kind & helpful. My only complaint was the bed, very uncomfortable but if I was in the area again, I would still stay here.😊
