What guests think

At Graduate by Hilton Fayetteville AR, travelers praise the playful collegiate decor, walkable downtown location near campus, and friendly staff, while noting drawbacks like dated rooms, intermittent HVAC or hot water issues, and occasional cleanliness lapses.

Guests love the lively lobby bar and quirky touches, but report inconsistent bar service and that breakfast and coffee aren’t complimentary. Facilities feedback is mixed: the small outdoor pool is sometimes closed or cold, and parking relies on a nearby garage or valet with fees and occasional confusion. Expect a stylish, central stay with personality, balanced by occasional maintenance and service inconsistencies.

The hotel and staff we came in contact with were great but. We wanted to check in early to get some pool time and we was told the pool was closed, we arrived late and it wasn’t closed. No coffee or coffee maker the room and no complementary coffee in lobby. Coffee at the bar was $4.00 a cup.

It’s in a great part of town with easy access to campus and Dickson Street. The rooms and shared spaces have lots of Razorback memorabilia and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and we used the gym while we were there and it was pretty nice. There is basically nothing included with your stay. Parking is $15 a day, breakfast cost extra, and I even asked for water and was told it cost extra. The walls are paper thin as well. We could hear every word of conversations next door and there was a dog howling for hours on end one night. For the price we paid, we might stay again but will probably look for more return on our value for our next stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Graduate. The decor is different and fun and the lounge area has a great atmosphere. Our only real issue was the valet. We drove up in two cars and it took us asking him five times between us (he never answered my husband but I’m more persistent) to tell us the pricing of valet parking vs self park. I don’t know why there isn’t a sign with that info. After watching him park someone else’s car, we were glad we chose the self park option.

This is my first stay at a Graduate brand hotel and was very happy with the experience. Hotel itself is beautiful, rooms are quirky in personality but nice amenities and furniture. Great central bar and restaurant. Hotel is in a great location. City parking (the only parking available) is TERRIBLE if you have anything over a micro-car.

Room was clean, the hallways needed to be vacuumed which we did not see what for the three nights we were there. Also, on check in, we were not told about having a breakfast package with $40 credit per day until the day of check out. That was disappointing since we didn’t charge to our room the first night and paid for our drinks at the bar. Also, we were convinced to sign up for Hilton Honors and would get a $25 credit which was not applied and on check out the front desk had no idea what we were talking about.

The location is fantastic, walkable and safe. The bathtub areas needs upkeeping because the caulk was moldy. (Room 1613) They did not clean our room or offer new towels. Two different front desk staff members told us the breakfast buffet was at 6:30am and we had a schedule to keep. We arrived at 6:30am and waited and it did not start until 7am. For all of these reason, I would say it’s average at best.

I booked two rooms, a king and a double-queen months in advance. Upon check in I was told that the king room was unavailable. I overheard the clerk next to me tell the guest he was assisting that the king rooms were being cleaned and would be available soon. I mentioned that to the clerk assisting me and he told me that those rooms were for customers who booked directly with the hotel, not those who booked through a third-party website like me. It made me feel as if I was not a valued guest. I escorted my son to his room, it appeared fine. I went next door to my room and was hit with the smell of sewer gas. We quickly went shopping and picked up some room deodorizing spray. I assumed that the smell would dissipate, but it did not. During our stay the toilet paper holder broke, clattering on the floor. The floor tile grout in the bathroom was very dingy. The electrical outlet in the bathroom was worn out. My hair appliances would not stay plugged in. I mentioned the room condition issues at check out. The clerk was polite and told me he would pass my concerns to maintenance. He then told me that the sewer gas smell is a common problem. I would not stay here again.

Very cool concept and the location is great. The bar downstairs was a chill vibe and all the Hog memorabilia was fun. The university theme that runs throughout is so detailed. The room itself was fine. There was a big mix up with Expedia and the hotel. When I checked in for what I had already paid for, Korey asked me to run my card without giving me a price or reason. Luckily I asked as he was about to charge me $700. I showed him my receipt from early booking and payment and he was baffled. I understand they cant control third party sites, but a month earlier the hotel took over my reservation and sent confirmations directly to me. Korey even noted he had never seen rooms booked the way mine were through the hotel but did not offer to assist in any way even after showing him the correspondence the Graduate had sent me early on in my planning. After an hour of working throught it with Expedia and the hotel, I was provided a room upgrade and coupons for drinks for the inconvenience. However, upon checkout, turns out Korey didnt give me a free upgrade like he said, he just put us in a more expensive room at full cost. The girl at checkout apologized and said " Korey is an idi0t" and noted he used codes she\'s never even serny which wss par for the course for him. she said she couldn\'t assist because her manager wasn\'t in yet. It\'s too bad because the hotel and room are nice, but I ended up paying $700 total for wht was supposed to cost $380, and Korey really wasn\'t helpful or sympathetic.

FABULOUS Hotel, so cute and convenient to everything. We loved it EXCEPT buyer beware, the only bar/restaurant suddenly announced last call at 9:45pm on a Saturday GAME night. Their rationale was weak (they had problems another time?), but on this particular evening, the bar area was full of lovely people of all ages, doing nothing wrong. Next thing you know all food and drink stopped; and people staying had to leave in order to have fellowship. This included a lovely wedding party that had probably spent a fortune to be there together. It was baffling! Good customers were very upset, with no recourse. Besides that nonsense, it was really nice!
