The pools are very well maintained. We enjoyed going from the beach to the pool and back again. The marina was beautiful. We played pickleball daily and the courts are fantastic. A short walk from the shops with a beautiful view along the beach. Our room had the sunrise over the bay and we enjoyed the sunset on the beach in the evening. So peaceful. Perfect for our family. We hope to return!

Simply Paradise. Loved the easy stroll to the gorgeous beach. Great view of the Gulf from our balcony. Small kitchenette was great way to save on breakfast and lunch. Our best meal of the week was at the Old Captiva House - mere steps from our room. Took a complimentary kayak paddle and saw a mother manatee basking peacefully at the water’s surface. Our AC unit developed a leak that was promptly addressed by management. To sum up, Tween Waters is a quaint property with lots of amenities located in an idyllic setting. Looking forward to returning.

Location is great, 2 min walk to beach or marina. No cost use of equip for tennis, shuffleboard, water sports, great food, 2 great pools lots of seating w/food & bar, cabanas. Both hot tubs were out of order, tv service not available but wifi allowed for streaming. Rooms are very basic, no microwave. Very nice people & svc.

We went for Beer in the Bushes SCCF event so only stayed one day, but room was very clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. Pools were lovely with adult Serenity pool option. Lunch at pool bar delicious. Sunday morning Starbucks coffee at resort!

We had a very nice few days. We would definitely stay here again. The staff is so friendly. Facilities are great and well maintained. Loved the pool, tennis and pickle ball. Beach is beautiful. Resort has restaurants and others located in town are a 20 minute walk along the beach. Be warned the traffic getting off the island in the late afternoon is crazy. We left the resort at 4:00 and just barely made our 715 flight. Next time we are going to take an early morning or late night flight out to avoid the traffic.

All inclusive resort that provided everything I needed. It was wonderful to sit on the dock and watch the ospreys and dolphins. Also it was fantastic to walk across the street to the beach where the shells were magnificent. I took advantage of the kayaks and bikes that were available. It made getting around very nice. The staff were very friendly and the facilities are clean. I would definitely go back.

We had never been to the islands and did not know what to expect. The beach is impeccable. From your balcony you either look at the golf or the ocean. The resort is staffed by very polite and nice people. There are kayaks and bicycles provided for two hours at a time. The pools are well-maintained. The noise level is supposed to be low in the serenity pool and if parents respected that it would be. There is pickle ball and an above average exercise room compared to other hotels. There are good coffee selections on the resort. We did not eat at the restaurants, but there are plenty of Restaurants Within a short drive. An absolutely beautiful romantic vacation. Sunsets and sunrises every day. We will be back!

First time to the area, no complaints. Resort staff was friendly. Pools warm and clean. Food prices reasonable, and tasty. Kayaks included was nice. Rooms not terribly fancy, but we didn't want that, so it was perfect. Spend your time outside!

Had a comfortable stay at the Seagrape building, there were lots of activities included in the price of our stay like pickleball, canoe, bicycle riding, and weight room which was cool. The staff were really helpful and nice. The room was in good shape and clean with a beautiful view of the beach, however, would have been better if they had a screened in porch as the mosquitos and no see em’s will get ya pretty bad if you’re out there trying to enjoy the sunset. Prices for pizza were ridiculous for small personal 10 inch pies over $20 a piece in most cases, they were good, but not worth $42 for two tiny pies. Other than that, pool and hot tubs were enjoyable and we had a good experience.

I was welcomed to the property. I was given explicit directions to our room. The room was clean but dated. The screen porch looked over the pool. That was very nice. The beds in the room were VERY uncomfortable and made lots of noise while getting in and out of them. The bathroom was dated with chips in the tub paint and rust in other places. The restaurants on site were delicious. The beach was very clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay, just didn’t sleep well and actually expected the hotel to be in much better shape in the interior of our room.

Loved having rooms with access from the outside, old-time feel that is priceless. On the minus side, bathroom floor could have been cleaner. I hate to even mention it...you've done a wonderful job building back after catastrophic weather. I definitely want to return to Tween Waters.

Considering it was coming back from hurricane ian, ‘tween waters is doing well. Construction noise was minimal, staff was friendly and attentive, rooms were spotless. It was a pleasure to be there.

We had a great stay here and definitely coming back. The only downsides were there were some bugs in our room (which didn’t bother us so no big deal), and the dining options are all from the same kitchen which was quite expensive.

Very old and tired. Paying a resort fee is outrageous when there’s nasty weather. No bottled water and only powdered creamer. There were a few bugs near our shower. Very disappointing since we paid quite a bit.

Our stay at Tween Waters was excellent! We had a bay view room with kitchenette. Free entertainment outside of our room consisted of watching manatees playing just six feet from shore! Room was clean. We had issues with the TV where we had no cable for two nights. Workers came right away to try to fix it but cable company needed to come out. I was a little upset because I missed the NCAA championship men’s game. Everyone there was extremely helpful. My husband has a bad hip (scheduled for surgery) so to walk is very painful. All we had to do is call the front desk and they would send a golf cart and driver to take us wherever we needed to go. I loved every minute and was sad to have to come back to reality!!!

Tween Waters was amazing!!! Our Studio King room with Ocean View in the Sea Grape was beautiful and completely updated!! We could see the most beautiful sunsets right from our private balcony!! The pool area was wonderful and the food and drinks were delicious!! We found the most beautiful shells on the beach! We can’t wait to come back!! Definitely 10/10!!

Property is a bit outdated but surrounding areas were well kept. Our King size bed was not as comfortable as we thought and the pillows were somewhat old. The room was overall clean and we had a great view of the beach. The amenities were a nice addition, but if you don’t use it they still charge you the Resort Fees. It was very quiet and overall we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful property aptly named due to the property sitting between a bay area and the ocean. The rooms were great but the beds and pillows were not. There were lots of returning guests which indicated that their experience has been great over many years. I would go back again as I think this is a special place. Great location on Captive!!!

Our room had a gulf ocean view. So, location of this hotel next to the ocean is its strongest attribute. The room contains nice enough furnishings. The dual comfort air heater and cooling unit made an annoying noise when on. The sink in the cooking area is small for dealing with dishes and the faucet sprays water everywhere. I am critical here since the room is expensive including resort fees. There are resort amenities available for guests including bicycles, spa, and restaurants.

I got extraordinary help in changing my reservation and getting a refund from Expedia which was extremely frustrating and difficult to navigate. Enjoyed this resort. Felt the dining options were overpriced and were not worth the money. Had to switch rooms due to a broken AC unit however, staff was amazing and attentive and the room switch process was quick and easy.

Told there was an elevator for my building, had a 3rd floor room, elevator was broken and not going to be fixed for 3-4 weeks. resort daily fee charge told if I used the on site restaurants that i receive the fee back as subtracted from my food charge. Not told food charge HAD to be put on my room bill. not given internet password but told repeated to use my computer to make reservations to restaurants, phone in room did not work, only one plug in by bedside worked and light was in plug...I use a CPAP machine at night and difficulty finding a plug to use. None of my concerns or room problems were addressed except to move me to another building the afternoon of my last night. I definitely would not stay here again. for the price the hotel service at main desk was not friendly. Servers at Shipyard and old Captiva House were wonderful though and handyman for resort very helpful.

As a single woman in her late 30’s my main concern is safety. It was disappointing that the deadbolt on the entry door did not work, in addition to the windows on the entry door being so poorly installed, anyone could have just pushed on it to get in. Secondarily, the overall cleanliness of the room could have improved greatly, especially in the bathroom. The property grounds were nice, including the pool. There was only one bartender and server on staff so it made for very long wait times for drinks and to order food. The three restaurants on the property are very good and I would certainly recommend those to anyone staying on or off property.

I was a quest at a wedding September 2023 Aside from the expected hurricane damage which has nothing to do with my complaint. The property is not well managed the staff and management is either nasty or claim to be clueless ! Rooms were incorrect … the property is filthy there are many code safety violations for which are going on under the radar …. Parking is horrid … the only plus I can give is the food is good the outdoor golf cart drivers are good to the guests ! Other than that I would not advise staying there until the management does their job ! Right now thy are getting away with it bc thy are the only place open but not for long !!!!

Had a comfortable stay at the Seagrape building, there were lots of activities included in the price of our stay like pickleball, canoe, bicycle riding, and weight room which was cool. The staff were really helpful and nice. The room was in good shape and clean with a beautiful view of the beach, however, would have been better if they had a screened in porch as the mosquitos and no see em’s will get ya pretty bad if you’re out there trying to enjoy the sunset. Prices for pizza were ridiculous for small personal 10 inch pies over $20 a piece in most cases, they were good, but not worth $42 for two tiny pies. Other than that, pool and hot tubs were enjoyable and we had a good experience.

The pools are very well maintained. We enjoyed going from the beach to the pool and back again. The marina was beautiful. We played pickleball daily and the courts are fantastic. A short walk from the shops with a beautiful view along the beach. Our room had the sunrise over the bay and we enjoyed the sunset on the beach in the evening. So peaceful. Perfect for our family. We hope to return!

Nice location. Interesting history. Beautiful beach. Excellent dining choices although they are expensive. Free bike and kayak a big plus for exploring. Sanibel Nature Refuge was gorgeous. Captiva/Sanibel are still recovering from their most recent hurricane, so be prepared for some eyesores.

Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The beach was within walking distance and the pool was large. Pool drinks were excellent. Did not eat on property but there were ton of options. We primarily brought our own food and cooked our meals so the kitchen was great.

We had a very nice few days. We would definitely stay here again. The staff is so friendly. Facilities are great and well maintained. Loved the pool, tennis and pickle ball. Beach is beautiful. Resort has restaurants and others located in town are a 20 minute walk along the beach. Be warned the traffic getting off the island in the late afternoon is crazy. We left the resort at 4:00 and just barely made our 715 flight. Next time we are going to take an early morning or late night flight out to avoid the traffic.

Very nice hotel with unique access to both the bay and the gulf. We brought our dog which greatly hampers or eliminates the ability to experience the activities of the resort, especially including the restaurants. It’s odd that we pay a premium to bring our dog only to be limited from experiences that people who do not pay the premium are able to experience, but it was our choice to do so.

Overall stay was nice. But I would not go back just because I felt the dining options were very limited and overall very expensive. The bathroom water pressure was awful. Oasis bar was nice and in particular Brian was a great bartender. He made great drinks and was very personable. Enjoyed sitting at the pool bar and talking with him. Pool was also very nice. Would like more music.

Great and beautiful property with nice pools, an excellent beach, and comfortable rooms. The view was amazing. Room service and the food at the pool bar were also great—the grouper sandwich is highly recommended. We really enjoyed the kayaks, though the oars could be longer for better use. The only downside: while we understand it’s post-hurricane, at this price point, a proper coffee shop with decent cappuccinos throughout the day should really be expected. We’ve seen better offerings at much lower price points. The coffee in marina one day was really bad and pool bar has great food but no coffee or tea.

They have a marina with free kayak rentals. Also, have free bike rentals. There is an onsite laundry. Its a charming area to explore and they have restaurants right there. Order pizza from a pickup window, dine in a casual or more elegant setting. Great service and friendly, professional staff.

Tween Waters is a one stop shop for everything you need when going to the beach for a getaway. We had winderful restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff were great and took wonderful care of us. The beach was 20 steps from our room and the pool was a refreashing treat afterwards.

Just spent a week at Tween and had a great time! The staff were all friendly, our room was clean and had a beautiful view. Location was perfect. On site restaurants were great- we loved all of our meals, and really enjoyed the pool bar! Walked the beach and found shells.

The manager was horrible and completely u accommodating. I have never felt so attacked and the unwillingness of the reservations manager to accept payment or the phone even was a joke. When looking over the balcony all you see is over grown trees and down below is trash. The elevator was between two buildings and you had to walk to the opposite end just to get to your room. Also the beach is across the street not on the property.
