Frog Symphony! Sunsets! Beachfront!・Porch Swing Bed!・2x King Beds

Great place to stay, clean and comfortable. Check in was a breeze, our host communicated with us extremely well.

The interior is completely updated and the house is immaculately clean. Our hosts were responsive, and over the top nice. He came by to give us a in-service on the operation of everything. They even had coffee, filters and half -n-half in the fridge. The house is so charming and the kitchen well stocked. Even the knives are sharp. The best part of the house is the screened in porch. There are binoculars for you to watch the numerous birds around - even a bald eagle. At night the frogs perform a beautiful natural symphony. It’s a super relaxing spot to unwind.

This cozy property was the perfect home away from home for a quick, two-day getaway with my husband. Our hosts were extremely hospitable and easy to work with. Dave showed up on day one to give us a quick and friendly tour, which helped take the guess work out of where to find light switches and modern conveniences. He had an amazing coffee maker and even had creamer waiting on us in the fridge! He pretty much had all you need for a short or long stay and the place was immaculate and clean! Definitely check out Dave’s restaurant recommendations - they didn’t disappoint! Our favorite restaurants were Southwood Kitchen, Pearl and Sunset Pointe. The back porch was our favorite part of the home. We pretty much spent all of our time there and the sunsets were incredible! We can’t forget a shout out to the good Lord for the spectacular show!

We loved our stay!! The house was very clean and I can’t say enough about that screened-in porch!!! It was the best!! The neighborhood is so peaceful! Dave was so kind and checked in to make sure we didn’t need a thing the whole time! We will definitely be back!

Where do I start? The house was spotless, the bedding / linens were amazing (fabric, texture, quality - all of it), and the home is decorated beautifully. Dave and Jenn provide more than basic necessities, including coffee and creamer (and it’s actually good coffee - not a pod). Plenty of dishwasher pods and laundry pods to use, along with paper towels, trash bags, cleaning supplies, and toilet paper—way more than what is usually at a rental home. We had a child under 2 and will stay here again for every reason under the sun (they even have kid books for bedtime!). Even though the home is inviting and comfy - very coastal living magazine - we spent most of our time outside on the screened in patio on what we called "the swinging bed” overlooking the bay. There are stylish cushions on every chair outside that almost force you to take a nap. Steps from the bay with toys and chairs to use - perfect entertainment for a child and relaxation for parents. There’s a little room with a desk facing the bay if you need to get some work done like I did - of course, the WiFi was flawless like everything else. This office space also fits a pack n play and has an air vent so perfect for a little one. We had several delivery orders with no issues. Can’t say enough positive things about this property and the hosts. Just what we needed and thankful we found it. If you’re hesitant, book it! You won’t be disappointed.

Dave was absolutely the best to deal with, he came over when we arrived and gave us a short tour and checked in with us later to see if we needed any supplies. Check in and check out was a breeze. The sunsets were amazing and best viewed from the couch swing on the porch. Be sure to hang around after dark for the frog symphony. 10/10 recommend.

Beautiful little cabin tucked into the trees overlooking a tiny pond and the bay - just perfect for 'porchin'. The hosts have thoughtfully and meticulously curated a hip and stylish experience that is bursting with character and attention to detail. The interior design is spectacular. We were mostly in and out of Fairhope for late-week event and really didn't even scratch the surface of what the property has to offer. Nonetheless, we were thrilled with our stay.

We stayed at this home during Mardi Gras weekend and found it to be the perfect spot to enjoy the bay. The home is spacious, clean, comfortable, and has an amazing porch with a beautiful view. We would absolutely stay here again.

I've traveled to Baldwin County several times with my family, but wanted to stay somewhere special to celebrate my birthday. I am so happy to have found this gem of a home, as my family definitely had a memorable time. The weather was beautiful, and I spent most of my time while in the home sitting on the porch swing. We enjoyed nightly sunsets over the bay, while relaxing on the porch. The home is eclectically decorated, which gave the home character and an element of fun. Our teenage daughter stayed in the other main floor bedroom, and loved having a king bed to herself. The bed linens and pillows were very comfortable. Water pressure is great, and the bathrooms were nicely appointed with toiletries by Public Goods. I made several breakfast in the kitchen, and found it to be nicely appointed. The hosts (Dave and Jenn) were wonderfully communicative, and made sure that my family was informed as to the check in process well in advance. Dave stopped by to familiarize us with the lights and heating/cooling system soon after we arrived. Another nice touch: The hosts provided great coffee and even creamer in the refrigerator. The location is fantastic- as we were quickly and easily able to get to Daphne, downtown Fairhope, and even Mobile, during our stay. Highly recommend taking a walk along the bay that runs in front of the property. Hope to stay here again some day!

The house is immaculate but also comfortable; the layout, furniture and amazing porch create a roomy and airy atmosphere. The details like cozy towels, down pillows and a fully stocked kitchen make it homey and comfortable. It’s elegant but not too fancy, very comfortable for a family. The beach access is fantastic, a walk on the shore is right out the door. The hosts are so attentive and friendly, we had everything we needed including local advice. We had a wonderful vacation and will be back to enjoy the sunsets again.

It's always a little disorienting in the dark when you've never been somewhere, BUT this house has motion lights (outside and inside) to welcome you. The house is in a great location on Mobile Bay just off Scenic Hwy 98 in between Daphne and Fairhope in Montrose. It is quiet, relaxing, and gorgeous. I think this property is even better in person than in the photos - large, open living room, galley kitchen open to living room, laundry room (washer/dryer stack), 2 bedrooms w/king size beds each with en suite, loft with 2 twin beds - all immaculately clean, comfortable, up to date, well appointed, but not over done. The star of this property, however, is the screened in porch. We enjoyed coffee there every morning in the oversized swing and Adirondack chairs. (Also great coffee provided! What?!) You could literally spend all day on the porch- so relaxing! I noticed an accordion gate at the top of the back (porch side) stairs in case little ones need to be confined. The house has ALL the amenities to make your stay easy. Beds are great. WiFI works well. The hosts are so friendly and available for help/questions. They truly seem interested in making your stay unforgettable in the best possible way, and they succeeded with us! We can hardly wait to plan our next getaway to the porch!

This Bay Front home in the exclusive village of Montrose has luxury down to a science!! Every comfort has been included & carefully placed at your fingertips. Tastefully decorated with plush bedding, quality furniture & exceptional design. Great coffee served in top of the line appliances. Host was on hand if needed & even supplied farm fresh eggs. Star Gazing or exploring the vast eco-rich area this home has it all.

Everything from the prompt responses from the owners to the promise of the frog symphony was on point! I arrived later than I expected and the lights had been turned on for me to create a peaceful scene after a long car ride. The screened in porch is absolutely amazing. We were on a girls trip and spent most of our time out there. Dave is a wonderful host, very accommodating. Close to the Grand where we had Sunday lunch and shopping in Gairhope.

Our recent weekend stay at a this property on Mobile Bay exceeded all expectations. From the moment we booked, the owner’s communication was nothing short of exceptional. They were responsive, helpful, and ensured every detail of our stay was seamless. The house itself was perfectly lovely—immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and well-appointed with all the comforts of home. It was clear the owners put a lot of care into creating a welcoming and relaxing environment. The location was truly ideal. Nestled right on the bay, we enjoyed stunning water views and easy access to local attractions while still feeling tucked away in a peaceful retreat. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a memorable stay on Mobile Bay. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

This house was perfect for our vacation. It is beautiful, very comfortable, clean, in a nice, quiet neighborhood with wonderful views. We loved staying here the host was very helpful and the porch was our favorite spot to sit and enjoy the water.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. We walked the bay beach and listened to frogs on the beautiful porch. I could have stayed forever. The owners were very attentive and accommodating. I would highly recommend and hope to get back one day!

Our family includes a senior and two kids, this house accommodates everyone perfectly. The sunsets from the HUGE screened in porch are amazing! You won’t regret your stay here at the lovely Bay House
