All the Amenities in the hotel were awesome for my 5 kids! The outdoor pool was very cold and jacuzzi was out of service so that’s the down part of our stay! But we loved all the game rooms, playing pool, the sauna was amazing, morning complimentary bike rental was so fun! Beautiful trail/walks along the river! Overall awesome fun time staying at this hotel and area!

Property has been upgraded and is now in excellent condition, staff was helpful, the pool is the best in town. The restaurant on the poperty is great and the proprieter, Chris was fantastic behind the bar and provided amazing service. I won't stay anywhere else in Tri-Cities.

The room was clean and the pool was very nice. The gym was good enough for work out with the dumbbell sets they have. The sauna was refreshing. The onsite restaurant was very delicious and the tequila bar was very interesting. Small walk to the river where you could enjoy a nice morning walk. I very much enjoyed my time there. Complementary breakfast was great.

The hottub was empty and not working. The rooms were clean with no bugs but the mattress basically bent in half from my enormous 185lb body. The pillows were probably the cheapest pillows possible. Great value next to the river with a cool bar attached. The breakfast was really good. The staff was really nice. If they fixed the mattresses it would be nicer but then it would also be more expensive.

I really wanted to like this place. The location is right on the boardwalk and close to many dining options. However, the rooms are a bit run down and as the some other reviewers have mentioned the updates seem diy and like lipstick on a pig. The first room had mold and wet carpet in the areas between the bathroom and bedroom. When reported to the front desk we asked for a room change there was an attitude of indifference. They were called a twice and when someone came up to see the mold she just said, “oh”. A couple of hours went by and we heard no response. It wasn’t until we went down to talk in person that we were given another room. The second room (188) had bugs coming out of the drains and ants up the wall in the bedroom. The property’s entire water system smelled like algae. The hot tub had enormous algae underneath the vent controls. At first we thought it was just the room but when we went to the onsite restaurant, the water smelled and tasted of algae. The bathroom sink faucet was residential and a little short so when washing your hands your knuckles bump into the countertop. Lots of little things like this. When a room is decent, you can overlook small things. When a room is subpar, you start to notice everything wrong. The glass on the stove was shattered, the tv remote didn’t work while in bed, the door boarder with security lock was hanging off…you get the point. If given the opportunity to stay here, seek other accommodations.

There were bugs crawling everywhere in the room. So I had to go down to the reception to request another room. I had driven 200 miles and it was 8 pm when as tired as I was I also had to deal with the bug issue. Also no elevator makes it very difficult for an older person like myself to carry my bags etc This hotel is way lower than my expectations considering $738 or so for 5 nights stay! For that amount one expects a better, cleaner, bug free room and better amenities. I'll have to look for alternate accommodations but am not sure if I would be able to find any other place at such a short notice! Also the front desk person checking me in, did not mention the Kadlec Hospital corporate rate, as if they would have, it could have saved me $200 plus. Another front desk person Susan was very unprofessional and rude when I requested the corporate rate information. Not staying here ever again!

Very unclean! Pillow cases sheets were never washed! The floor was covered in sand/dirt. The walls had what appears to be blood splatter on them by the tv. The doors clearly do not get washed as you can see food and overuse of dirty hand prints. Numerous dents and damage to the doors and walls. The staff was great! The access to the river is great. But that doesn’t make up for dirty sheets and pillow cases.

I was excited about this property because the price was right, it had a pool, breakfast and a restaurant on property. Unfortunately, I forgot that you get what you pay for. The staff was very nice, but the pool/pool area was not very clean, the breakfast was lacking and the room needed some attention (i.e., broken faucet, dirty upholstery, bad patch jobs on walls and mold on tub caulking).

Pros: Friendly Staff, awesome pool and games, air conditioned room and comfortable beds, retro vibes, pet friendly and right on the river Cons: Dirty floors (found old chewed up gum stuck in floor next to bed), bathroom and shower not clean, room smelled like old cigarette smoke, very sparse continental breakfast… For just $20 more we could have stayed at a nearby, updated and clean hotel (which we usually stay at, but wanted to give this one a try) Price just didn’t make sense for what we got.

Nothing I could do would stop water spilling all over the bathroom floor during a shower. Really annoying. Also, who wants to make coffee into a disposable plastic cup (like I need to absorb more micro-plastics!!). Beds clean and comfortable, towels good quality. Walls paper thin, as I learned to my chagrin when an idiot neighbor kept his TV blaring well past 11pm.

The parking lots were a dumping ground. Random bits of trash everywhere. Hot water in the shower was erratic. Room could have used a floor rug. Having the sales person watch the front desk is NEVER a good idea. Never saw more than one employee at a time, which leads me to believe this property is owned by a slumlord.

We stayed at the hotel while my mom was at Kadlec. The room was comfortable but the service was not so good. We arrived to the room at 8pm to a smoke detector battery alert going off. We called the front desk who came and changed the battery. The next night, the smoke detector battery alarm was going off again. We called the front desk and was informed we had to come downstairs to get the batteries and replace them ourselves because there was only one employee and no maintenance staff on duty. We replaced the batteries ourselves and still the alarm was going off. We called the front desk again and was told to remove the smoke detector and take it to the front desk. We stayed in the room with no smoke detector. When we went to check out of the hotel and express our concerns, there was no one at the front counter and after waiting 10 minutes we left. More employees would have made this stay better.

An older property but in a great location for walking along the riverfront park. The front desk staff was unfriendly if they were present at all. We tried to check in 1 1/2 hour early ( which is pretty common). Front desk staff tried to charge me $25 to check in to “ my reserved room” early. There were maybe 5 cars in the lot so any room would do and they were certainly not overbooked. I travel all over the world and US and have never been charged to check into a room early. We opted not to get charged to check in and got coffee instead. I don’t know if that’s a new gouging tactic but it made an impression.

Great hotel for families with kids or who want to have a lively time. The pool area is great and there aren’t over-bearing rules. The green belt and river walk are right off the property. Bikes are available to guests. Walking or riding distance to tons of restaurants and coffee shops. The bar/restaurant are open late with live music so great if you are looking for night life. Riverview rooms are the quietest but Dont stay here if you want peace and quiet. It’s not the place for that.

The Richland Riverfront hotel is located right on the wonderful river walk park and trail on the Columbia River in Richland. We walked on the river walk enjoying the peaceful river sc me. We even saw cute baby geese! People we spoke to were froendly. The hotel has been upgraded from its mid-century roots, but still exhibits some wear and tear. The area is quiet, safe and attractive. The staff were universally helpful and friendly.

Room was clean and modern. Breakfast was good and so was the coffee. Dining area was modern and relaxing. Employees that we did come across were very nice. Coffee in the room was better than most of the coffee places in my town. The pool area had plenty of towels and they kept it clean despite people leaving garbage everywhere. We were excited about the hot tub but it wasn't open as of March 30th. We would definitely come back to this place.

Way too expensive for what you get. This place is in need of a serious upgrade. It reminds me of an old roadside motel. Not that the place is falling apart, just needs to be updated. Breakfast was pathetic. Amenities were good. Pool table, game room, shuffleboard and pool were all in good condition. If you are spending this kind of money look elsewhere for a more modern upscale hotel.
