Great hotel, absolutely beautiful! However the balconies look over a roof covered in unsightly and loud AC units. You get a beachfront hotel with a balcony for two things: the ocean view, and to hear the waves. We were on the top floor and all you can hear are those AC units, and they take up 40% of your view! That was disappointing. But other than that; perfect location, beautiful interior, great beach rentals and right next to a park and the pier.

I booked a king room with a gulf view the balcony was literally looking at a parking lot with ferris wheel in front you had to look all the way to the right to see the beach. Also, the sink in the bathroom was clogged so every time I used the sink I had to pull up the drain. I reached out to the front desk and they said they could give me another room, but it would be a city view so i kept the room even though I only had a partial Gulf view i kept the room

The rooms are a little outdated, but I know in such a heavy traffic area it’s hard to keep up with. The tiki bar staff and pool staff were amazing. Other than that. My experience was just OK. That was our first time staying on that side of Clearwater Beach. We normally stay at the shepherds and have for the last five years was trying something different and the only thing I liked better was your full beach access

The first room at over $350/night had a dirty blankets, an unlockable and broken bathroom door. The "upgrade" was the same, with clean blankets, ocean view but also nasty bottom view. The harbor view was better. Way overpriced for what it offered.

The pillows are terrible. Feather and flat. They also do not allow you to sit on the deck even at off peak times.
