My apartment was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed, nice shower and bathroom, and a full kitchen area with mini frig and microwave. The roof top sitting area gives views of the city. Elevator for my 8th floor room. Helpful staff at the desk. Secure building using room key to enter lobby. It is a 2 block walk tom the metro and an easy walk to the National Archaeological Museum. I recommend this facility.

Ermass was a terrific option for us. A lovely hotel room for four nights with the added bonus of a kitchenette. Very convenient location quite near to the metro (both from the airport and to the sites) The reception staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooftop area was lovely for a place to finish off the evening. The area was not brilliant, but we did not feel unsafe. Remember to support the wine bar outside the entrance - lovely owner.

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice with all requirements catered for. The roof terrace is excellent and great for resting after a hard day of sightseeing. The area around the hotel does look to be improving. Easy walking access to the sites and to public transport. Would recommend this hotel and hope to come back in the future.

Relatively new apartment block. 24/7 lovely staff. Decent WiFi. Spotlessly clean, spacious apartment. Evita across the street is a nice bar with evening pasta/pizza. Turn left out of reception for a nice coffee. Turn left from reception/left/left so opposite side of block for Apollonion Bakery & breakfast& amazing club sandwiches. Turn right from reception/up the hill to the crossroads/cross diagonally/stay left & a supermarket is 40m away on the end of the block. Turn right from reception/up the hill to the crossroads/turn right & Omonoia Square & Metro Station is 200m away up a wee hill. The roof terrace at the Ermass is so calm and peaceful.

This hotel is in a terrible area surrounded by shady people. The AC doesn’t work at all — it’s like a sauna in here. I was dripping sweat the whole time, couldn’t sleep. I asked the staff for a fan and they straight up lied, said they didn’t have one. Later I talked to someone else who said they did have a fan and brought me one it barely helped, just blew around hot air. The room is tiny, barely space to move. And to top it off, a cockroach crawled on me while I was laying down. This place is disgusting. Never coming back.

I had a magnificent stay at Ermass Modern Living and would gladly recommend it to others. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality stood out. Thanos was very kind, and a special thank you goes to Peter, who was exceptionally welcoming, helpful, and friendly throughout the stay. His attitude truly made a difference and made me feel well taken care of. The apartment itself was beautiful, modern, and very well maintained. It felt new, clean, and thoughtfully designed, and it offered excellent value for money. While there isn’t much of a view, that wasn’t an issue at all given the overall quality and comfort. Cleanliness was outstanding. The bed and bedding were spotless and very comfortable, which made for great nights of sleep. The refrigerator was a good size, the coffee machine made genuinely good coffee, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a smart TV — something that is not even guaranteed in many 4-star hotels in Norway that cost 3 to 4 times more. If I were to mention a couple of small suggestions: I personally prefer bottled water, as I’m not a fan of tap water in Greece. There is a beautiful glass bottle of water in the fridge, but it is filled with tap water, so having bottled water available would be appreciated. Also, a small tip would be to add mosquito traps in the rooms, as that would make the stay even more comfortable. And for those worried about the “part of town”. If you don’t bother no one, no one will bother you;) Overall, this was excellent

Their warm and welcoming manner left a wonderful first impression. The location is excellent—approximately a 15-minute walk to both the Acropolis and Syntagma Square—making it very convenient to explore the city on foot. The hotel appears to have been newly renovated, as everything was impeccably clean. The complimentary bottle of welcome wine was a charming gesture. The high-quality towels and the well-equipped kitchen, which had everything needed for efficient meal preparation, were greatly appreciated. Considering all these factors, the value for money was outstanding. I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next visit to Athens.

This place was really good! Location is close to everything and the staff is super friendly and they have one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen working in the reception. We had a problem with our A/C in the room and when the technician couldn’t fix it he ran down to reception and got us keys for a new room and helped us take our bags to it as well, that is awesome service!

Hotel and staff were wonderful! We had to extend our reservation last minute and the front desk staff were incredibly helpful and understanding. They helped us schedule taxis and offered to run out to grab us stuff from the store when a member of our party wasn’t feeling well. Property is very clean and feels safe. Can’t say enough good things about this hotel and staff.

I had a magnificent stay at Ermass Modern Living and would gladly recommend it to others. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality stood out. Thanos was very kind, and a special thank you goes to Peter, who was exceptionally welcoming, helpful, and friendly throughout the stay. His attitude truly made a difference and made me feel well taken care of. The apartment itself was beautiful, modern, and very well maintained. It felt new, clean, and thoughtfully designed, and it offered excellent value for money. While there isn’t much of a view, that wasn’t an issue at all given the overall quality and comfort. Cleanliness was outstanding. The bed and bedding were spotless and very comfortable, which made for great nights of sleep. The refrigerator was a good size, the coffee machine made genuinely good coffee, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a smart TV — something that is not even guaranteed in many 4-star hotels in Norway that cost 3 to 4 times more. If I were to mention a couple of small suggestions: I personally prefer bottled water, as I’m not a fan of tap water in Greece. There is a beautiful glass bottle of water in the fridge, but it is filled with tap water, so having bottled water available would be appreciated. Also, a small tip would be to add mosquito traps in the rooms, as that would make the stay even more comfortable. And for those worried about the “part of town”. If you don’t bother no one, no one will bother you;) Overall, this was excellent

I found the staff on the front desk especially helpful when I faced two distressing situations: 1) My wallet was pickpocketed on May 24, 2025, and the staff assisted me in locating a Western Union office that could provide funds transferred to me from home: 2) When I was scheduled to depart on May 28 all the taxis, Ubers, and shuttle busses were on strike and I was hesitant to take the Metro to the airport. Young Billy, who worked at the hotel, assisted with my suitcase and took me to the Metro station where he purchased my ticket for me and gave me specific written directions on which train to take, when to get off to switch to a different train on a different line. He was so assuring that signage in English would be adequate and I could manage the trip with no difficulty. He was right! It was a real pleasure to travel on the Metro. Thanks to the staff at Ermass.

Elevator for my 8th floor room. Helpful staff at the desk. Secure building using room key to enter lobby. It is a 2 block walk tom the metro and an easy walk to the National Archaeological Museum. Ermass was a terrific option for us. A lovely hotel room for four nights with the added bonus of a kitchenette. Very convenient location quite near to the metro (both from the airport and to the sites) The reception staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooftop area was lovely for a place to finish off the evening. The area was not brilliant, but we did not feel unsafe. Remember to support the wine bar outside the entrance - lovely owner.

As a first time traveler to Greece, you want to feel reassured that you are safe, which was our only concern. The ubiquitous graffiti can add to feeling unsafe if you are not from a big city. Very swanky, quaint place, plenty of perks. Very clean with nice helpful staff. The breakfast you can order is quite tasty as well. Normally they even have a laundry facility, but sadly it was being renovated when I visited in November 2025 (so I just walked about 2 blocks to a local laundromat, no big deal). Would certainly stay here again!

It was a very nice room for the price, near the centre of Athens, within walking distance of bars, cafes and restaurants, and tourist attractions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Bottle of wine was a nice touch. Overall definitely recommend.

Relatively new apartment block. 24/7 lovely staff. Decent WiFi. Spotlessly clean, spacious apartment. Evita across the street is a nice bar with evening pasta/pizza. Turn left out of reception for a nice coffee. Turn left from reception/left/left so opposite side of block for Apollonion Bakery & breakfast& amazing club sandwiches. Turn right from reception/up the hill to the crossroads/cross diagonally/stay left & a supermarket is 40m away on the end of the block. Turn right from reception/up the hill to the crossroads/turn right & Omonoia Square & Metro Station is 200m away up a wee hill. The roof terrace at the Ermass is so calm and peaceful.

We were not at this hotel very long as we had a delayed and super late flight. Surprisingly it was pretty quiet so we could sleep in during the morning rush before we had to return back to the airport. There was no hot water for the night so that was a major inconvenience. The only concession of extra drinks/coffee offered but would've appreciated something a little more generous as it was horrible not having any hot water for a shower. Room itself was sizable for the 3 of us and we appreciated the fluffy towels and large bathroom. We really didn't stay very long to get a good sense of the area but the staff was friendly and helpful.

The disappointment was the rooftop and the small dining venue. The rooftop is strictly just a place with alot of tables and chairs, no bar operating. The view though is spectacular. The other disappointment was the dining venue. Just a small walkup counter place next door. But there is a great breakfast restaurant a block away just east of the hotel on the corner across the street. We ate there twice it was so good!
