Staff was welcoming and helpful. Elevator was crazy and did not accommodate well but other than that the property was good and in a good area. Tneir sister property has an amazing rooftop bar that they told us about that made our whole trip to Athens wonderful.

Séjour d'une nuit pour affaires. L’hôtel est bien situé dans le centre avec de bons restaurants autour. Le seul bémol, c'est le manque de parking. Il y en a un, privé, qui n'est pas donné.

Para uma passagem rápida em Atenas, o hotel Hermes atende perfeitamente. Muito bem localizado no bairro de Plaka, da para fazer tudo a pé e o metro da praça de Syntagma fica bem próximo. Além te ter uma varanda no último andar com vista para Pathernon, que a noite é linda e da para apreciar tomando um excelente vinho grego. Recomendo!
Para uma passagem rápida em Atenas, o hotel Hermes atende perfeitamente. Muito bem localizado no bairro de Plaka, da para fazer tudo a pé e o metro da praça de Syntagma fica bem próximo. Situation à proximité de la place Sintagma et du métro, proche de la rue Ermou où sont les grands magasins, nous avons été tres bien accueilli et avons pu avoir la chambre plus tot. Nous avons apprecie le rooftop et la vue sur l acropole. Le petit dejeuner est vraiment complet avec beaucoup de spécialités grecques. La chambre etait tres confortable. Nous avons pu laisser nos bagages le jour du depart.

Good location for exploring the Plaka area of Athens and visiting the Acropolis. Liked that it was just a couple streets outside of the main tourist area. Great breakfast. Only one side of the hotel has Acropolis views, but I enjoyed our view of the city and rooftop restaurants.

Not a lot of details, sorry...just a very pleasant stay. Location in the Plaka; we walked all over Athens. Room was clean and efficient. Very quiet area. View from the rooftop of the Parthenon. My favorite thing was staff was very helpful. The day before checkout they were making sure we would get breakfast before we left.

The hotel staff was great, location perfect, breakfast was very good but could use a bit more variety… such as fried eggs or soft boiled instead of hard boiled and scrambled every day, etc.. but what they had was very good. Beds were comfortable and the pillows too. This was very important to me as I recently had a total hip replacement and will be having total knee replacement surgery back to back over the next few months. Hotel was very clean and the coffee and tea station in the lobby was always enjoyed and appreciated. It would be nice if they had an on-site restaurant or sandwich area that served Greek coffee or beverages. The only thing I am unsure about is our room, I had booked a superior room with hopes of having a balcony with chairs and a table to sit and have coffee at. We did have a balcony but it was not big enough or have any seating or a table so I’m not sure we were given the room we actually reserved. We were delayed by a day on arrival due to the Athens/Greece transportation strike so we arrived at 3:00-3:30 in the morning the next day. Regardless it was a good room and we will be staying there again as we go regularly and still have family and friends there. I also booked a separate room (standard) for my daughter and her boyfriend as we took them as a Christmas present to see where her grandparents (my parents) came from and to meet that side of our family. Their room was wonderful! They also loved the breakfast, coffee/tea station, staff and amenities.

The hotel was clean and the staff very well. We had been delayed due to the transportation strike so we didn’t arrive until after 3:00am I am unsure if we received the room we were supposed to have. Overall we will definitely stay here again. Breakfast was very good but could use a bit more variety. The location is excellent. Hotel is very clean.

Hermes Hotel was amazing! The staff was super helpful. The property was very clean. The room was lovely, and I even had my own balcony! The complimentary breakfast was lovely. Everything about the place is great. It is located very close to many of the main attractions of old city Athens. Aspro Alogo is a lovely restaurant just down the street. Lycabettus hill is merely a stroll away. There is no reason not to stay here!

Due to flights delays, we arrived at the hotel in the middle of the night. The person at the reception was courteous, clear and helpful. The room was small and the air conditioning was too cold, but it was very clean and quiet with a nice little terrace I cannot comment about the surrounding area, the service and the breakfast as we had to rush out of bed to catch our cruise ship. If I were to return to Athens, I would definitely go to this hotel again

Goede ligging, dichtbij metrostation en wijk Plaka. Veel eetgelegenheden in de buurt. Wij hadden 2 kamers geboekt, waarvan 1 voor onze 3 tienerdochters. In deze kamer was een bed bijgezet, waardoor ze wel heel weinig plaats op de kamer hadden. Bovendien was het bed niet comfortabel.
Goede ligging, dichtbij metrostation en wijk Plaka. Veel eetgelegenheden in de buurt. Wij hadden 2 kamers geboekt, waarvan 1 voor onze 3 tienerdochters. In deze kamer was een bed bijgezet, waardoor ze wel heel weinig plaats op de kamer hadden. Bovendien was het bed niet comfortabel.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral im Plaka-Viertel nahe der Akropolis und ist trotzdem sehr ruhig. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig. Die Möbel sind zwar schon etwas älter und die Matratze ist sehr weich, aber für ein Stadthotel ist das Zimmer völlig okay. Wir hatten sogar einen Balkon.

Had a nice day here for one night in town before a ferry to an island! Had a nice balcony and comfortable beds. We arrived earlier than our check-in and we were able to store our luggage there throughout the day, which was very convenient. Great little neighborhood and very walkable to restaurants and shopping. Also, very walkable to the acropolis and other attractions.

In the centre but quite. Mostly helpful front desk helping us with taxi issue when arriving mid of the night and finding us a travel agent last minute due to our credit card issue for booking on line. Andrian (Andrew) is the one who helped us.

This hotel was really beautiful in design, cleanliness, and an incredible location right near the main Plaka in Athens. It was fantastic for all of those things. That being said, the staff at the front desk both when we checked in and departed were really unpleasant and, as a result, unprofessional. It was as if we were bothering them. The facility itself is perfect but they need to work with their staff on courtesy and kindness to customers.

Great location, every easy to go around to most of the important attractions. Front desk staff was very nice and friendly. We reached there around 8.30 am and were able to keep our bags and came back around 12pm, our room was ready. Breakfast was good, enough stuffs. Hop on bus stop is 5 minutes away. If we go there again we will stay there because of the location. and also recommend this hotel.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral im Plaka-Viertel nahe der Akropolis und ist trotzdem sehr ruhig. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig. Die Möbel sind zwar schon etwas älter und die Matratze ist sehr weich, aber für ein Stadthotel ist das Zimmer völlig okay. Wir hatten sogar einen Balkon.

Not a lot of details, sorry...just a very pleasant stay. Location in the Plaka; we walked all over Athens. Room was clean and efficient. Very quiet area. View from the rooftop of the Parthenon. My favorite thing was staff was very helpful. The day before checkout they were making sure we would get breakfast before we left.

Schönes 3 Sterne Hotel, sauber, sehr gutes Frühstück, gute Lage nähe Syntagma Platz, aber trotzdem ruhig und ohne Lärm. Die Strasse entlang ist eine super Bäckerei und Restaurant und Einkaufmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Empfehlenswert.

This is a solid to a good place to stay. The location is great. They served breakfast...we stayed at a few locations in Athens, Crete and Santorini and this was our least favorite breakfast. I might even say it was a bad breakfast.This place was perfect for our 1 night stay, anytime past 2 nights, might be a bit much.

The hotel staff was great, location perfect, breakfast was very good but could use a bit more variety… such as fried eggs or soft boiled instead of hard boiled and scrambled every day, etc.. but what they had was very good. Beds were comfortable and the pillows too. This was very important to me as I recently had a total hip replacement and will be having total knee replacement surgery back to back over the next few months. Hotel was very clean and the coffee and tea station in the lobby was always enjoyed and appreciated. It would be nice if they had an on-site restaurant or sandwich area that served Greek coffee or beverages. The only thing I am unsure about is our room, I had booked a superior room with hopes of having a balcony with chairs and a table to sit and have coffee at. We did have a balcony but it was not big enough or have any seating or a table so I’m not sure we were given the room we actually reserved. We were delayed by a day on arrival due to the Athens/Greece transportation strike so we arrived at 3:00-3:30 in the morning the next day. Regardless it was a good room and we will be staying there again as we go regularly and still have family and friends there. I also booked a separate room (standard) for my daughter and her boyfriend as we took them as a Christmas present to see where her grandparents (my parents) came from and to meet that side of our family. Their room was wonderful! They also loved the breakfast, coffee/tea station, staff and amenities.

The Hermes Hotel is an excellent location- walkable to many attractions and amenities like shops, bakery, and the Plaka. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing! The best food I had in Athens! I would definitely recommend this hotel and also stay there again!
