What guests think

At Residence Inn by Marriott Eagle Boise, travelers repeatedly praise very clean, spacious suites with kitchenettes and friendly, welcoming staff, alongside a convenient location and well-kept pool and fitness areas that make stays easy for families and longer visits.

Several reviews note shower designs that splash water, AC airflow or temperature inconsistencies, and occasional noise on the highway side or in hallways. Breakfast gets frequent praise for variety and taste, though at times it feels crowded, runs low, or ends earlier than some expect. Expect a comfortable, modern, suite-style stay with helpful service.

We loved our stay here! The suite was comfortable. We liked that you could watch TV from any place you were seated in the room. The beds were quite comfortable! It was quiet. We enjoyed using the workout area several times. We didn’t have an opportunity to use the pool but it looked inviting. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve seen in awhile; it had a lot of healthy options. Though it was stylish, our only complaint was the shower. It had a partial glass partition & even if you tilted the shower head down, you would still get shower spray outside the partition.

Pool and workout room were roomy and well maintained. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the elevators were quick and clean. Nice variety of foods at breakfast and a comfortable and roomy area to eat in. All the staff members were extremely helpful and friendly. The only small issues we had were getting the hot water regulated and lighting in the bedroom. Otherwise our stay was just great.

Beautiful hotel in a very nice area. Overall room is nicely laid out with a couple of major flaws. Traffic noise is awful depending on side of the hotel you’re staying in. Air conditioner vent blows right down on the bed. In room safe is behind one closet door that is pinned shut so the door won’t swing into the mirror on the outside of the adjacent bathroom door. Lack of attention to details in room design is disappointing in what otherwise is a nice place.

We stayed in the hotel twice in one week. In one room, the safe was behind a door that could not be opened, rendering the safe very difficult to access. The AC blows directly onto your face. On the fourth floor, there is constant noise from some machinery. Rooms next to the 4 lane highway are exceptionally noisy. Would not recommend or stay again

The staff were friendly and helpful. I was upgraded to a suite due to an issue with the lock at my originally booked room. Overall the room was nice, but the shower was absolutely awful due to a fixed spray setting and open concept that gets water everywhere... The Mariott TV channel offerings were also subpar with a useless guide - though, the TVs themselves were decent 55" screens.

This hotel is brand new and well equipped with everything you need. However, the turn in coming from Eagle is nonexistent and the rooms are not sound proof! You can hear everything in the hallway. Also, the AC was not consistent so the room was way too hot.

check in took awhile because we booked through expedia - which we have never had before. the property itself is nice and would come back again for it. we loved the layout of the room and the location of the hotel. one thing to note is if you have more than 3 lights on in the whole room - the power will go out. we had a lamp, bathroom, and kitchen light on and it went out. just a bit inconvenient and the receptionist said it happens quite often. something for the hotel to look into!

All the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is amazing! The one slightly negative point was the first morning the breakfast options were great (toasted muffin with egg and Swiss cheese, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage patties). I enjoyed it so much and looked forward to the next day. Unfortunately for me, the options changed to mostly items with pork, which I do not eat. Let me know when the muffin and turkey sausage will be available again

Room was great, sofa bed not so great and only a comforter, no blanket. Breakfast was a joke. Not prepared for the number of guests trying to eat. Main dished ran out and when told, it would be ready and we would be notified, never happened. Kinda sad. The hostess checking us in was wonderful. sadly, the breakfast ruined the experience.
