Parking is tricky. You can hear everything from the Parking lot to the neighbors. Clean rooms and pretty much convenient to a lot of restaurants. Enjoyed proximity to the waterfront. Good enough for the price.

Food options were within 10 minutes. The pool was amazing and we always had it to ourselves. Easy walk to the beach with multiple places to rinse off after a long day at the beach. The shower was super small and not very many places to hang up wet towels/suits to dry from the beach. Otherwise an amazing stay!

Perfect respite while we waited for the southern part of Hatteras to open after Hurricane Erin. Comfortable, clean, beautiful property! Affordable and perfect pool for the kiddos. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay in Nags Head!

Manager had housekeeping clean our room early so we could check in before 4pm which was really nice! Rooms were very clean and the pool was nice. It was a 2-3 minute walk from the beach and within walking distance from some good restaurants and the outlets.

The chemical they use to clean was absolutely too strong that it caused both my wife and i to get sick and leave a day early. It appears to be very clean but when you wipe the floor it was extremely dirty.

The room was immaculately clean when we arrived. Unfortunately, because nobody does daily cleaning anymore, It was almost unbearable by the time we left because of all the sand on the floor. I really think everybody should go back to daily cleaning, but if they're not going to do that, at least put a broom in each room. Otherwise it was a great stay and the staff was very helpful.

From the outside, the hotel looked newly renovated. The room had been updated and I liked the electronic lock to access the room. Having floors and not carpet was nice as well. The shower was very small and hardly enough room to rinse. I’m an average size woman at 5’8”. The shower curtain had mildew and smelled. There was also an industrial smell throughout the room that smelled like a urinal cake. There was one small towel rod. For a hotel at the beach, it would be great to have at least two including one near the sink. With a pedestal sink, there was also no where to put a Dopp kit or toiletry bag, etc. The mattress was average.

We had a room with kitchen and with balcony with beach view. Room was brand new. All renovated and kitchen equipment all new. Everything very clean. Appreciated the beach right aside and the fact that it was not too crowdy. Personnel very kind and professional.

Loved the location of the property. Parking was easy. Did not like having to haul all of our suitcases and cooler up three flights of stairs. Old motel that was redone. No amenities. Bathroom was extremely small without even a small countertop to put anything on. The walls were so thin I could hear a normal conversation in the room next door and hear them coughing and sneezing.

We stayed in a 2nd floor beach front room with a balcony. It was clean and simply decorated with a nice bathroom and full kitchen area. We enjoyed the beach front view from the balcony and the direct easy access to the beach. The only issues we had were some of the neighbors! We could hear the ones above us (heavy footed 😜) and the ones next to us were smoking on their balconies. I guess they interpreted “non smoking” facilities as pertaining to the inside only? Other than these two issues, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend Mia’s to others.

You could tell everything was brand new and updated. The staff was so welcoming. Only suggestion would be considering acoustic panels to absorb sound as you can hear the tvs from adjacent units.

For what we paid, it was fine, but the woman at the front was incredibly rude. As soon as we walked in to check in, she snapped at us. The computer systems were down - she was obviously stressed out, but there was no reason to be so rude. We treated her with nothing but kindness, patience, and understanding, yet she continued to be extremely impolite and disrespectful. It put a bad taste in our mouth for the rest of our stay. It would be in the businesses best interest to address this ASAP.

There was a slight booking error and the staff went the extra mile to ensure we had an amazing experience. The total room we had was impeccable and clean. The hotel is located on or within close walking distance to the most amazing beach. The local ding is among the best and the outer banks area is full of great restaurants, experiences and warm people.

We loved this hotel! Our room was very modern, comfortable beds and great shower heads! Parking was plentiful and the location was great! We stayed across the street from the ocean but it was a very easy walk to get over on the beach….maybe 2-3 minutes max. There are also several shops and restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommend Fat Boyz ice cream next door! The room itself was very spacious, uncluttered and extremely clean! Every employee we interacted with was friendly and super accommodating. I would stay here again without hesitation!
