We stayed here over the weekend for a Coldplay concert - we self-parked in a ramp right by the hotel and saved a lot of money doing that vs. parking via valet. The room was fantastic and the complimentary breakfast was the best I've had at a hotel. I also loved the little convenience area by the entrance, we definitely grabbed snacks there when we got back from the concert.

New property with a great location. Poor internet though and avoid the valet at all cost. I watch a crowd of people who checked out on a Saturday wait over an hour for their cars. I parked in the garage accross the street for $1.80 and hour vs. valet for $40. . . Get loud on the weekends with parent imbiding libations in the lobbhy while the kids and dogs run unsupervised on the upper floors. Omlettes are over-cooked to order.

Tonight stop, we were very pleased! Great walkability to the capital grounds and the convention center. Beds were super comfortable. Every place was very clean. The only issue was a small green blinking light in the ceiling corner of the bedroom... every 9 seconds it would remind us that the the fire / smoke detector was operating correctly. If my eyes were closed, it didn't bother me.

Room service was an issue I had to go to the lobby to order room service because there was no option to order by phone or thru the hotel website (inconvenient). I was told to return to my room and it would be delivered and I eventually had to call to insist someone brought it to my room. I was told we are short staffed, and that’s not my issue. Furthermore, there was an issue w/billing which was quickly corrected by the staff when I checked out and I don’t know who he was but he was pleasant, quick and professional

When I checked in, I didn’t receive the level of customer service I’m used to at Embassy Suites. At checkout, the staff member didn’t offer me a receipt and just referenced Hotels.com. For comparison, I stayed at Embassy Suites Downtown Sacramento a couple of months ago, and the service was excellent—plus the room layout and size were outstanding.

The staff at this property is uniquely friendly and accommodating. I was there on one of their busiest weekends and could not have been more impressed with how well run the place is. I don't compliment many places, but this hotel and its management and staff deserve a lot of praise. It will be my go-to property when I return to Madison and gave me a very favorable impresssion of Embassy Suites.

I stayed here from 4/29 - 5/7 and the entire experience was great. Rina at the registration desk clearly knows what she's doing, so when I arrived, looking like I would have fit in with the people on the helicopter at the end of Jurassic Park, she got me checked in and on my way to my room in just a couple of minutes. I gave four stars to the area around the property only because of a construction area along one side of the building. The only issue I recall is that the safe in my room wouldn't lock on the first night. When I returned from my convention the next day, a new safe had been installed and there were no further problems. The bar staff were super quick and friendly, and the hotel restaurant is quite good as well. I will definitely stay here again.
