What guests think

AI-generated summary based on recent guest reviews

Hyatt Vacation Club at the Welk, San Diego delivers a family-focused resort feel with multiple pools, activities, and spacious villa-style rooms with kitchens, drawing many repeat guests for relaxed stays in scenic, quiet surroundings. Recurring drawbacks include slow or delayed check-in, pushy timeshare pitches, and spotty responses to requests. Cleanliness and maintenance feel inconsistent across units, and Wi-Fi or mobile coverage is frequently weak. The property is large and somewhat remote, with limited dining and some pools or amenities occasionally closed or crowded. Rooms are dirty and dated. I don’t understand how they expect you to want to get a timeshare when the rooms are in that condition. Horrible service at market.

It was cool when we visited so we were not able to take advantage of the pools and the huge property. We dined on site and although the menu was limited the food was very good. Our first room was pretty disappointing but when we called the front desk they were able to move us right away and we were very comfortable the rest of our Visio. We would stay again.
