What guests think

Travellers describe avid hotel Oak Creek by IHG as a newer, clean and modern stay with friendly staff, comfortable beds, a quiet environment, a solid breakfast, and convenient access to the highway and airport.

Rooms are space efficient, with hooks instead of a closet and few drawers; some guests note small sizes, minimal TV selection, occasional freeway or upstairs noise, and shower designs that can leak water onto the floor. Facilities include a well liked fitness room, a small pool, 24/7 coffee, and a few EV chargers. The setting is convenient but somewhat isolated with limited walkability, and a few comments about a hard to spot entrance at night. Expect a streamlined, value focused stay.

This place was so nice. The hotel is super clean. The staff very friendly. Rooms were very nice, love that the hotel provides shampp, conditioner, body wash all in your room. Full size bottles, hairdryer, steam machine. Small refrigerator. The pool was nice to have. On the smaller side for pools, my son still loved it. Work out room very nice, plus I believe it's open 24hrs. One of nicer workout roooms that I have seen. They also have a continental breakfast. This was very nice Lots of things you could have. Bonus also there was always coffee available all the time 24 hours a day. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel was new to me, and apparently new to the area too. Everything was nice, it had a pool, and a fitness room. Our window faced the freeway, so there was some noise overnight from the traffic. We kept the room fan on to drown out that noise. A coffee maker in the room would have been nice. Breakfast was great, scrambled eggs, bacon, cereal, bagels and yogurt.

Friendly staff, quick and easy check-in; very clean room and common spaces, comfy bed and pillows. I was very quiet. We were on the first floor near the maintenance room, ice machine, and across from the swimming pool. Breakfast included, which is a nice perk. Very easy access to and from the interstate. 10 minutes to General Mitchell International Airport. Check is very easy and quick as well.

I stayed for work, reserved a standard king room. Hotel was maybe 30% full. They put me in a two queen accessible room. Floors are vinyl tile (very dirty). Person above me arrived at 10 and got up at 5:30 AM. NOISY! He sounded like an elephant keeping me up until 6:45. I would not stay here again unless I was on the 4th floor

This hotel is new. Our room was very clean with a comfortable bed. We especially liked that everything was updated and included working wifi and built-in usb ports! This hotel chain appears to have eliminated some of the extras that no one uses, like coffee makers and microwaves in the rooms, and instead has provided 24 hour access to these in the breakfast area. Our only complaint was that the street lighting on the drive up to the hotel was non-existant, so it was very dark and difficult to find the turn into the hotel drive and parking lot. Overall we were very impressed and will stay at this hotel again.

The hotel was newer so there was not a lot to criticize. The only thing I would mention, as far as a negative, was that the handicap shower did not contain the water very well and it ended up all over the bathroom floor. The curtain was a bit short and the lip on the floor was also a little short. The hotel was clean, the breakfast was solid and the staff was courteous.
