The best part of our stay was the interactions with Robbie at the front desk. From the time we checked in to check out, he went out of his way to be helpful, attentive and kind—even remembered our names! Always smiling and engaging, he represents the property well in his attention to quality customer experience.

Although their page says no on-site parking it neglected to mention that there's not even space to let a person out on the curb while parking elsewhere because there's dumpsters and trash everywhere. After my 87 year old grandma who uses a walker had to climb the 3 steps into the building the front desk then let's me know that she should've came over to open the ada door on the side of the building for us, but didn't. After getting checked in we get into the elevator that has parts missing on the wall and floor and sleeps. The elevator opens and there's a huge stain on the carpet as we walk out. The carpet is loose which is hard for my grandma to use her walker on. The room itself is close to what it shows in the pictures but neglect to show that the bathroom paint is peeling and the tub and window has mold all over it. The 2 big windows in the room open 2 inches for a breeze but don't have screens on them. The doorway to the bathroom was too small for my grandma's walker to fit through. We both have bad asthma and between the mold and the musty smells it greatly affected us. We decided not to stay the second night that we had booked and paid for. When checking out I mention these things to the front desk and got a "oh, I'm sorry about that" and the room deposit will not be refunded until after the second night that we weren't staying passes. Terrible experience, do not recommend!

Heads up to anyone wanting to book a Queen room and actually expecting a Queen size bed to be there- it's a Full size mattress. If you are traveling solo it may not matter, but for 2 adults, a Full feels like your a teenager at a sleepover. The front desk told me "that is their Queen room" and they didn't have a King bed to offer. Okay fine, then don't advertise it as a Queen room! It's also very loud. You can hear people talking and coughing. We were in the back so our window faced the garbage alley where we heard loud trucks early in the morning. Between the bed and the noise we got no sleep but that's okay there's always coffee. NOT. There was no coffee in the entire hotel. Not in the rooms and none in the lobby. There is a Cafe down the street but walking in the Tenderloin early in the morning is an adventure you might need coffee for first. If your fine with a small bed, loud noises and no coffee then this is your place. To top it off, we were also evacuated. The fire alarm was blaring with an announcement to immediately leave because there was a fire in the building. It turned out to be a drill, thank goodness but at that point we were ready for our stay to be over. On a positive note, the room was clean and the location is good.

The hotel itself is not bad but the area is nothing but homeless people. The only problem I have is when they put me in a room that has loud people that were making so much noises where I can’t sleep. Overall, they did changed me into a better room and I was able to sleep well.
