Paying $7 a day for parking, when there is absolutely no other options to park is ridiculous. Paying $15 for late checkout was absurd. This is like the Spirit Airlines of hotels.

Checked in at 4.30pm but was told that I had to wait ten minutes for my Room to be ready......first time that ever happened to me so late in the day. However, Rooms have good facilities and there is free Coffee all day, plus Gym and a Laundry Room

The fact that they charge for parking and there really is no need is mind boggling. It is not hard finding parking. There is no valet. It's not a fancy city. Just weird. The gym was subpar.

Clean room, staff was nice and attentive. No cleaning of room and have to go to front desk to get clean towels to swap for old ones. Gym was working. Safe area.

Bed was comfortable, but refrigerator and HVAC too noisy! Snack area very poor, no bottled water, not as advertised! Very clean but outdated for area and $$.

The hotel is not very nice. It kind of smells and is outdated. The gym and laundry room are in the same room. The staff are friendly and very positive

The room was clean. It can definitely use an update. No pool. No breakfast. Close to everything. You get what you pay for. Fair price for what you get. The employees at the desk are friendly and helpful.

Very happy with Sonesta hotel near the airport. Parking was lit. There were plenty of spaces. The staff was very friendly. The hotel itself was quiet room was clean. There was a little wear and tear but overall I’m extremely happy and have booked again on a sidenote they have a small cabinet in a common area hallway that has cooking utensils rice cooker, coffee grinder things to make your stay more convenient as there’s no restaurant or breakfast provided and parking was only seven dollars, which is a steal.

Dirty smelly hotel.

Absolutely awful, especially for the cost of that room. It smelled so bad. I asked for another room and the same problem. I got a refund and went elsewhere.

At first your front desk try to give me a room on the first level which was fine initially, until we entered the room and it was completely smelling disgustingly from cigarettes. Only then did the front desk clerk finally agree to move me to a different room. The hotel is run down, it's quite dirty not kept up at all, would I recommend this hotel, to my clients, being in the travel industry, 100% no!

The room and the corridor smelled like smoke and body odor. The furniture in the room was scratched and also smelled. There was rust and grime on on items in the shower. Carpet was sticky on my feet. The heater smelled like burning garbage when turned on.

Very dirty room I wanted to leave we felt so uncomfortable. Hairs on tub and inside fridge was very dirty this time. It was our second time staying there.

I killed cockroaches daily around the kitchen area. Carpet in hallway was stained and tattered. Room keys rarely worked and had to exchange them constantly. Towels were old and stained. Would have left the first day if I hadn’t prepaid. Very poorly run facility. Health department should make a visit. Disgusting.

This hotel was dirty and smelly throughout. The bathroom had mold and carpets were stained and smelled liked pet urine.

There was mold in my first room. I moved to another room and it was still stinky and moldy. I didn’t stay the night, because I went somewhere else.

Easy parking and the area was nice- safe. The hotel itself was disappointing. There was no dining at all. The fitness area was limited. AND the hotel was dirty. There were cockroaches running in the halls and the cleaning service was poor. My room was not cleaned the entire time. I mentioned the above to the front desk staff and there was not communication from management.

The room was reasonably large, bed was comfy, kitchen lacked a few basic utensils, laundry downstairs was great.

odd room numbers have road noise since it closer to road. receptionist is very cunning and they wont change the room once you checked in. Before booking online call the hotel and confirm whether is availability of even rooms number which is not facing road and then book else we cannot sleep in night because of car roaring sound..

It’s an old building, with old furnishings. Prepare to take a walk with your luggage finding your room. Other than that, it was priced right and I didn’t stay long. A longer stay would have been painful.

The people upstairs are noisy at night. The refrigerator is noisy. The ventilation fan in the bathroom is noisy.

Our room was neat, clean, reasonably spacious with adequate storage, a well-lit and slightly larger than typical bathroom and the promised amenities: full-size refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, a few mismatched glasses, bowels and dishes and a coffee maker that didn't work. The shower had only two settings, a somewhat uncomfortable needle spray and an outright uncomfortable super needle spray. The tub drain couldn’t be plugged but a washcloth stuffed in the drain worked well enough. Room lighting was a little dark, especially in the back with the bed, TV and the work area. There was no extra work lighting but there was a quad electrical outlet. The queen bed was comfortable. Maid service was "by request" which we didn't request. My wife liked the small fitness center but wished it was open 24 hours a day or at least had hours more prominently posted. It also has a laundry which we didn't use. Parking in the open lot was $7 per day (not mentioned in the ads). For reference, just before the pandemic we paid $15/day at another budget hotel. We asked for a late checkout of an hour (i.e. noon) but were offered only a 2:00 PM checkout for an extra $15. The first time we've been charged for a late checkout. Sometimes it seems the world is run by Ferengis. We didn't interact much with the staff but they were friendly and helpful when we did. Overall, our experience was positive and we will try to stay there again when we return for training later this year.

Odd room numbers are good and facing towards residential area, even room numbers are noisy and window are not quality and hear lot of noise from road. Beware they won’t change room once you checked ask for even room number..

I checked in on a Tuesday, and immediately my room keys did not work. When I brought them to the front desk, they told me their key machine was broken so they would have to let me into my room. When I checked out on Thursday, still no keys - so for two days I had to ask the hotel staff to open my door for me whenever I left the room. When asked to open the door, they were always rude about it, and they had to do this for every hotel guest. Additionally, the hair dryer in the room only had cold air, there were no amenities that a normal hotel would have and the condition of the room furniture was awful. The chair in my room had a massive tear in it. The sink made weird gurgling noises all day and night. Really miserable experience.

Really love this hotel. The staff was extra nice. Greeting me by name helped me whenever I needed it. The room is clean quiet air conditioner was quiet. Had all the amenities needed for our business trip.

No daily room service! They make you bring the dirty towels to front desk to exchange for new ones. Service is not good in general

I've stayed here before and didn't have problems. It's a great hotel that is close to airport and stores. This time my key cards wouldn't work and had to keep asking the front desk to reissue. Then i asked for late checkout and gave them a credit card to use for deposit and the late check out. Come checkout day someone was knocking on our door because it was past normal checkout time. We explained we had late check out. A hour later someone different comes to the door and they were told the same thing. 30 minutes before my late check out comes someones comes through our door. Thankfully we were dressed already. When i went to the front desk to explain how irritated i was i was told that a late check out wasn't put on my room. I explained to them upon check-in i asked for late check out and she took my payment for it. Definitely giving me mixed emotions about returning to this hotel again.

This facility needs a major renovation. It's old, smells bad, needed to call twice to get the garbage disposal fixed and an iron replaced. Wi-Fi is slow. The staff mirrors the condition. They are not friendly, and become antagonistic if you just ask why such and such charge is there. I am a gold member, have been at Sonesta hotels, and this crew is exceptionally out of norm compared to others, on the wrong side.

I had a credit card issue and girl behind the counter wouldn't split it. I had to go to the front desk with dirty sheets and towels to get more and also had to go to front for toilet paper,not even an extra roll. My room smelled likee bad food the counter wouldn't split

The place and accommodations were satisfactory but upon check in the manager/counter person was impatient and rude with the stick up her bum

The location was excellent the staff was very friendly

This is an affordable alternative to all the expensive hotels nearby, and a decently maintained and clean alternative to some of the low priced motels in the vicinity. A Tesla supercharger station a block away is a plus. A very good value for the money.

The hotel is conveniently located to where I need to go in Southern California

property itself was great - a pool would have been nice- area surrounding - neighborhood horrible for visitors as not easy to get around or locate places - food, etc...

Decent safe location... Decent price... Room was visibly clean... Now there's a lot of not so good that comes with it. The place is in obvious disrepair. My non-smoking room (do they even have smoking rooms anymore?) smelled like it still had 20yrs of previous smoking permiated into the walls, carpet, A/C, etc. The chrome fixtures in the bathroom from the light shroud to the shower head were all corroded. The bathroom fan was covered in a thick layer of dust from who knows how long. The room was kind of humid and musty at first before you crank the AC. The hallways are musty, warm, and humid. People are obviously visiting the weed dispensaries nearby and smoking it in their rooms. It all worked out for me, a single guy back in town to see friends and go to a comedy show, but if I had woman or kids with me, I wouldn't accept the conditions. Way too beat up.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Very convenient to the airport. Nice park across the street for an evening walk.

Check in is friendly and accommodating however they do lack a slight amount of urgency. At one point while being helped with check in I was told to wait in the small lobby area so they could help another guest. Luckily I didn’t have to wait long and was able to get a room quickly after that. The room was clean and everything looked up to standard. Only issue was a really bad smell. I opened the windows and ran the AC, which I will say helped a lot and eventually the odor was rather minimal. The area just a few minutes away is nice but if you go in the other direction there isn’t much. If you are looking for a cheap and convenient stay this place may be for you. It’s nothing special but it can work if you aren’t too picky.

This hotel is located very convenient place. The room was clean and quiet, self-parking is easy to park.

This property is good for a quick stay. It does not offer breakfast. The room is basic. There is no lotions. Just a small block of soap for your hands and 3 soap dispensers in the shower. But over all it’s was quiet.

It’s ok, facility is a little old. Noisy especially when guest next-door to you close the door. No breakfast. Overall should be ok. Can acceptable.

Unfriendly staff. Very rude and they seem bothered when asking questions. No room service. Really appreciate of what house keepers do for guest. This place,no. Everything seems to bother staff. Guess it come down from management. She was the WORST...Ordered food from the QR code they have in the room and paid $40 for two tacos. Go figure? Also the tacos were not what I ordered. I suggetaking this place off the list.
