This hotel is wonderful. We were happily surprised to have a (nearly) full-size refrigerator with a huge freezer -- exactly what we needed. The room also had a microwave. The hot breakfast was excellent, including some form of eggs and breakfast meat (such as sausage patties). There were lots of other breakfast options as well. There is a small seasonal outdoor pool.

Walls are paper thin, you can hear the semi trucks going by all night on the highway next door. My hotel room air conditioner was broken, maintenance made two attempts to fix it. The were no other rooms and no other attempts to fix my AC unit. Pool was green and closed, laundry facility was closed, and there was no ice in the machine. Not worth it, definitely get what you pay for and this place was cheap.

Carpet was dirty in the common areas and in the rooms. Their housekeeping staff does not do a good job. One of the beds had dirty linens on them from actual dirt, blood stains and hairs. There were layers of dust throughout. The toilet was not cleaned very well at all from previous guests. We couldn’t use the fridge because it reaked like fish. Looks much better in pictures than in person.

Unfortunately, there was black mold in our room, and we didn’t realize until the end. It’s really bad around the exterior window and on the shower curtain. We had some other problems as well. The fitted sheet wouldn’t stay on the bed. The breakfast was mediocre, and they were out of most everything an hour before they were supposed to end. The exhaust vent and the bathroom wasn’t working, causing it to be super muggy and wet in there. The sad thing is, this used to be a really good hotel. My wife and I have stayed multiple times before. It’s sad to see it. Go downhill. But I can’t recommend a place that has black mold.

We got a dirty room. Trash under the bathroom counter, pee and hair on the toilet seat. Wet toilet paper and what looked like throw up spatter on the side of the toilet. A hair on a "new" towel. The walls were dirty. They left trash in the freezer from the last person in the room. They couldnt move rooms because it was booked and they said someone would come clean it. No in ever did. They shut down breakfast early and the pool. If I could leave pictures I would.

Huge tv but it didn’t really work and had local channels only. WiFi did not work at all. Staff was good. People loitering in the parking lot when I checked in.

Jefferson at front desk was amazing! Room was large and very clean, loved the big refrigerator and freezer! Only complaint was that our room was located right across from elevator mechanical room which was very noisy. We were on the first floor which we did not request. Our room and one other room were the only 2 rooms directly across from the elevator mechanical room. It was terrible! Every time someone used the elevator, we would heat it. Breakfast was good. Was so looking forward to having espresso but the machine was broken.

Hotel and room were clean. Breakfast was decent. Bed and bedding were comfortable. I didn’t like that you couldn’t lower the temperature on the thermostat without making the AC come on. We turned up the heat before bed, but didn’t the room to be so hot while sleeping, but we also did want the air conditioning on in winter. The only option was to turn the thing off. Thin walls and highway noises made sleeping difficult for light sleepers.

The front desk was too busy playing around to be helpful. Having charge something that would get them in trouble if not corrected, all the time laughing. Then I was informed that there would be an extra $25 if I wanted to stay. Who has time to book another hotel? I was not given a room number, and finally found out that it was on the 5th floor. The room had not been finished being cleaned. The 'House Cleaning Manager ' was appalled that it was not read. The luggage rack only had three legs, which he said would be replaced (never happened). The staff was much nicer in the morning. "You never get a chance to make a first impression." Cleanliness and condition of the room were less than one would expect.

The hotel and room was nice. Our problem was we couldn’t get room cleaned and towels exchanged. I asked the manager of the day for some more towels and she was rude, and told me I had to carry our dirty towels to the dirty laundry room to exchange towels and sent a employee with me that showed me which bin to put dirty towels lol. And she grumbled the entire time . No accommodating at all. If I had a manager act that unprofessional for my business, she would be terminated.

My husband and I loved staying at Best Western Plus! We visited family for the holidays, and brought our dog, and the hotel was the best part of the trip. The hotel was very dog friendly, with a great dog walking area and the staff loved to give him treats when we would pass by the reception desk. Very close to downtown, I-20, and Bobby Jones Expressway. We will definitely stay there again when we decide to visit Augusta.
